Has Richard Wright (totally underrated guy), Nick Mason, one of the best drummers of his generation, and (my favorite) Syd Barrett, one the founding members of Pink Floyd, he was a genius that gave Pink Floyd its touch and made it what it was, sadly he was a huge drug addict.

Seeing Kate play live at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2014 from the middle of the 4th row was so emotional. I thought she wouldn't play Cloudbusting when the concert ended ..but she came back and sung it for the encore...an experience I will never forget.
Hounds of Love was released in the days well before Spotify when we would listen to whole albums. I think the reluctance of Kate Bush to play live comes from the pressure she puts on herself to create a huge show filled with theatrics and dance and all the tiring rehearsal that involves. This performance here proves that if she wanted to she could do a straightforward show/tour, just holding a mic in front of a live band and singing. It's actually very rare to see her doing just that and it works great.

This was a special occasion. This was one of the last "Secret Policeman's Ball" concerts. The album this is on is "The Secret Policeman's Third Ball." That's where I first heard it.

I really love this rock version of the song, it sounds amazing! Kate sounds great and she looks so happy, and David Gilmour is just doing his thing and he must feel like a proud dad thinking about how far she's come since they first met! The way they look at each other and smiles is so sweet. I'm so glad they did this, it's the only live performance of the song.

She knew she absolutely nailed it .. she's so humble still from her body language. Holding out till the very end . She took the time to acknowledge each musician whith a warm smile . What an amazing experience it had to have been .
