as for the time 27 Nov SG time 1508h the Trial version of Crossover is still 23.6, it not the newer version 23.7

I hope you make a CS2 update video - the flickering leaves problem is solved BUT when I turn in metal (as you mentioned during your video) I got an AMD outdated error at the beginning an when I want to change graphic setting game get frozen!

Hi Andrew Tsai, I’m loving the Mac gaming experience thanks to you ! Just one problem is that crossover detect 19gb of ram and I only have 18gb and games lags when using 19gb if you know a fix please ? (M3Pro 14inch 18gb 1 tb MacBook Pro)

idk why, but MK11 won't start with dx 12 and when I start it with dx11 I can't see any characters while cutscenes, such as fatalities or fatal blows

nope, just restore crossover from the patcher and then upgrade to a newer crossover then patch again if ya want.

I hate to ask because I know you have done this a few times. But would you be willing to revisit GTA V on the new Crossover? I just recently purchased Crossover and I can not get GTA V to run. I get as far as finishing the steam install, getting logged into the Social Club, hitting the play button, and then it just crashes the app. I can't seem to find if there is anything else I can do at this point or if it might just be broken atm.

What’s funny is Fallout 4 barely works on PC, especially modern ones with 40xx series cards. I can’t get it to run for more than about 10 min without crashing. We’ve been waiting for a next-gen update for over a year now.

Can you maybe create a video where you test Satisfactory on a Mac with different Settings and Advanced Settings in CrossOver to find the best overall performance? I have a question: I used the cxpatcher v0.4.10 for CO 23.7 and 23.7.1 and there’s no option in advanced options to integrate GPTK?
Does anyone know if it´s possible to download the iPad version of the Notes app on a MacBook? I didn't want to buy an iPad for note taking in school when I have my Mac, so I went with a cheaper drawing tablet. But the Mac-version of Notes won't allow me to draw. I know I can use third party apps, but I like to use Apple´s own apps. :)

Wait. It said that I can only renew my subs with 50%dc within 2 weeks “before” expiring date. Doesn’t it mean that I can’t renew it with 50% + 70% dc if this cyber monday sales comes again next year right? Bc my expiring date is on 2024-11-25.
I'm no expert, but I was only able to get either the 50% renewal discount *or* the Cyber Monday (70%) discount to apply to a renewal (which is the same as buying it the first time, but just for an account/email that already has a non-expired license)
theres currently an issue causing controller inoputs to not register when using D3Dmetal with steam games.
Hi Andrew, thanks for all the guide you have provided on this Channel! Apparently, my Genshin is not working for the Croosover 23.7.1 + CXPatcher 0.41v.
Once the updater complete and start to launch the game from Genshin Launcher.
There is no popup for the Genshin Game. Only the Genshin Icon exist and i need to force stop the apps to have it quit completely.
Not sure what kind of issue i have.

I upgraded this year 2023 april and have version 23.6 installed. I should be able to upgrade for 12 months. But I'm not able to. In crossover UI it says: Expiration time 2024-04-21. Do you know of any possible issues?

Im pretty sure msync is available on whisky as well. I think they added it in October.

That’s going to depend on your use case. They have their benefits and disadvantages. Some things run better than the other.

this msync thing doesn't do any diference for me. I get the same framerates with this toggled on or off. M2 Max here
It depends on the game. For instance, FF7 Remake is unaffected by it, but FF15 increases its FPS a lot. I have an M2 (Apple Studio Ultra) and FF15 increases from 30 to 75 FPS when you activate MSync.
exactly, I have same M3 Max MBP and it has ZERO influence on performance in CP2077

Thanks. Do we still need cxpatcher? As that also patches latest 1.1 GPTK
CXPatcher will patch in the same version of GPTK 1.1 for now, and it'll also give newer versions of DXVK/MoltenVK too.
We also already have mSync with CXPatcher too, there is currently no differences.

You should be able to see the version number on crossover. In terms of the latest version, seem they are having some issues rolling the update out so try later today or try tomorrow.

I found this for you “CrossOver is a per-user license. Install CrossOver on as many machines as you like, but only one person may use CrossOver per-license.” So I’m assuming with ultimate you can run three at a time, I think.
I assume you went to the "READ MORE>>" section of the lifetime, and judging by someone's unanswered comment from a year ago, and the fact I can't find articles talking about deauthorizing PCs... that it may be 3 unique PCs, so when you reinstall it may be gone. It obviously sounds stupid but a lot of software is like that.
@@SToad yeah this is why i was asking there are microsoft office saying lifetime office but after the change of computer the key is lost and you need to rebuy a key so if it is to pay 400-500 bucks
I used different software with limited installs over the years, and one letter to support usually solves the issue if you hit the limit for some reason (system reinstall and so on).
@@retrocomputing yeah but here i am scared they might refuse because i change my computers/mac each 2 years (for value reasons) if they limit 3 computers it would mean 6 years of use ´´maximum’´ then it would depend on crossover if they refuse i lose 400 bucks 😭 big risk

MAKE SURE you put graphic on steam deck for cyberpunk 2077. I didn’t see any RUclipsr mention this anywhere, i guess thats how steam will take advantage of metalfx. If you don’t put graphic setting on steam deck you will lose like 15 fps. Yes you can’t configurative your own graphic settings but steam deck specification is medium to mostly high which really good. 😁
