I see the eyeball vent is wisely located so it can be aimed directly at The Fellas. No better way to ensure warm flying weather comfort 😊

Hey looks like you have the original screws holding the tail wheel arm on. They did a mod to drill out the screw holes and do bolts. 8:30 very cool parking brake!!!!! I"m going to do that!

Looks great! 👍 Was excited to see the video post this morning. Looks like a lot of progress. I like the parking brake idea and the removable belly skin in the tail. Any ideas on paint? Polish? Vinyl wrap? Great job on the videos as always, Jacob

We have the stabalizer tips painted black at this time, look about right. Brad is toying with the idea of a polished airplane. You thoughts?

if its a screw on Fuel cap, all you need is a screw on extension with inner and outer threads long enough to do what I suggested, so you don't get fumes in the airplane(I love the smell of 100LL) but not all day while flying!

Wait a minute! At 4:29 we see a new spectacular tool! Something to squeeze the band around the fire sleeve on the fuel line? What the heck is THAT? Where do we get it and how much does it cost????
6:05 SONEX???? I thought you were building a ONEX!

Thanks for the comments! Hope you subscribed! Let's do these all at once. The banding tool is an Aeroquip Banding Tool, I believe Spruce can sell you one. Not sure how much they cost, we "appropriated" ours somehwere.
The panel in Brad's Onex is easily removable. Brad is a bit over 200# and has hands like catcher's mitts. The removable panel was a must. For what it is worth we also used nut plates and screws to attach the combing over the fuel tank, front wind screen, and the belly skin. More places that we may need to access someday and didn't want to worry about drilling out a bazillion rivets.
Not to worry, all the "important" switches are on the left. Things like lights and such are to the right. Bear in mind that this airplane is running a RevMaster and has lots of switches for multiple coils.
One can never have enough Clecos! Nothing worse than working along and finding out that you don't have enough to hold your project together and must wait while additional clamps are shipped. Most of ours are hold overs from an RV-8 I built a number of years ago. Another "cleco intesive" project.
Thanks for your service. I missed the great "police action" (I was the right age) as a result of pure dumb luck. Keep on building, nothing better for you in the world!
      Best, Capt. "T"

Watching your build and others, I don't care for the Filler to be Under the Windshield, on the ONEX. Can the windshield be carefully cut and blocked to have the Filler neck extended to allow it to be outside?

I am not sure that anyone really wants the filler in that position. It is without a doubt the easiest place to put it, but you are correct, an extended filler neck through the windshield would be a better design. Not my project so after deliberation by Brad, he decided to just go with the design as is. I can already smell the 100 LL in the cockpit as a result!
