Hello Elliot, new subscriber here..can relate. Great build progress love your Skymaster. Can relate with you, 33 yrs mil myself, wife jabs at me often wishing I would had become a pilot while in...Maintenance was just fine for me LOL. Now am getting pretty absorbed in both Rotor and fixed wing. Love the STOL's...we have much going on down in Latin & So America for humanitarian work so will start to spin up on getting edu-micated in 25' wife desires same. Looking now for homes in and around airparks to get a jump start. Will keep checking in, you will be a good inspiration. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years...blessings
Thanks for posting. Dang, thats the exact panel I drew up for my Bearhawk 5, although I'm planning a GTR205x in the center stack (one remote com and one in the panel if it'll fit). Dual Batt and Dual Alt. Haven't decided on which electronic ignition. Just finishing the wings (fabric covering the flaps and ailerons. Next month the fuse comes from the hangar to my garage). That build order gives me the most time to plan avionics and engine details. I might have to pick your brains on electrical system and EFII
Impressive and consummate aviator you are, Ellie. Glad to see you "make it" -- pun intended. [P.S. Reports are that you sealed the deal on aviation careers for at least two Young Eagles this month. Kudos! ]
Elliot really glad to see the progress I have checked your sight once in a while to see if you have posted anything. Tim will be in town in a couple of weeks would like to the plane in real life.

Hoosier pilot here, that’s going to be an amazing aircraft! Good call on the engine swap.
I struggle to keep 1 plane with 1 engine running. 3 planes with 4 engines total? You are a braver man than I.

Looks incredible! Envious of your wiring knowledge and skills.

Awesome update! Bearhawk looks awesome! Congrats on the skymaster. Surprisingly never heard of them so I had to look it up. Pretty sweet hauler.
How much is that 170. I want to buy one. I have been working overtime like crazy. You have one of the nicest ones i have ever seen.
awesome works! What is the total cost for the aircraft?
Beauty. I always wanted one, but the inflation in the last 4 yrs has put them out of reach.
Thanks!
