Love this cover - strangely I was into the Banshees around 1978~79 and then got VU & Nico at a 2nd hand market - fell in love with VU. Few years later, Banshees & Cale got together - I'm a bit hazy on dates around that time. Must have been great, if only I could remember 🙂🍄

This rendition with brass was a one-off, they only did it once in London for a gig in 1998, but prior to that concert, the Creatures had done a two month tour in the US with John Cale on a double bill tour, and each night SIouxsie performed Venus in Furs with Cale on viola during the last encore and it was awesome.
