I just went down the Velvet Underground rabbit hole for the first time today and ended up here. This song is brilliant, haunting, and unforgettable. Velvet Underground was before my time, but it's better that I found them late than not at all. And this cover is more magical than the original! Paz Lenchantin, where have you been all my life??? You're brilliant!

I was huge APC fan when they debuted, and holy crap I loved Paz! In my opinion she was easily the sexiest of any of the female rock bassists (d'arcy of SP, melissa from hole, rayna coal chamber, sean yseult from white zombie..sooo many!) but yeah Paz is at the top of that list. She's just got this.. swagger, this sensuality when she plays, it's hypnotic! Plus I guess I'm a sucker for a beautiful latina... Love you Paz!

That whole thing was strangely beautiful and visceral and hypnotic; but it was the silver necklace that got me in the end. It was just dancing there around Paz's neck, through the whole weird video.
