The Fist weapons were my favorite weapon in Nioh 2 aswell. Can't wait to try them out in Wo Long.
But I wait until all 3 DLC are released and play them in one go. Thats how i did it with both Nioh aswell.
I wish so hard for something like The bone fist from Dark souls 2 to come back , it was extremy fun while also being a top tier weapon

Bone fist WAS released in the 2nd dlc so hey who knows maybe shadows of the erdtree will also get a good one
@@moka8601 yeah; I have hopium for more fist weapons, ashes of war for the lesser appreciated weapons, and catalyst weapons coming back.
But I also fully expect more overpowered katanas and greatswords lol

I know some people use that as an arguement for nioh 2 but it feels as if this game was really uninspired and reused enemys alot more tbh.
@@crooshflow1685 Nioh 1 DLC enemies is basically Nioh 2's. I don't remember anything new from any Nioh game DLC. People defending on Nioh and bash on Wo long is weird. Because they're not better in any shape or form. The team is lazy, if it's only Nioh 1, sure, but the same thing with Nioh 2, Wo Long.
The only thing they could really do is reskin the corpse demons according different elements.

It got a dlc already? I barely hear anyone talking about this game, i was waiting for a sale myself but.. is it even good?
its mediocre at best; frustratingly disappointing at worst. imho, of the 3 soulslike "massacore" games Team Ninja have made; its their worst by far. Its not cheesy fun like Stranger of Paradise, and its not deep and engaging like Nioh.
If you're interested in something similar, and at a better price, that runs well on PC, and is bundled with its DLC, just get Nioh 2.
It is mediocre and if you wanna get it my advice would be to wait until all 3 DLCs are out and buy the complete edition
If you like the base game you’ll like the dlc. It’s more Wo Long and that’s all I could ask for.

it's a fast paced parrying game, still cooking (needs updates), ugly looking + mediocre level design, and it's best to just cap at 30 fps due to optimization issues
Wo Long looks kinda mediocre to me but I may consider getting the complete edition when all 3 DLCs are out

Nioh 2 fist weapons were damn amazing; easily one of the coolest additions to that game.
Wo Long has too many issue for me to come back to it tho; even with a new weapon style like this, i just couldn't get into its gearing system or having to grab flags over and over again.
Wo Long feels like it should've been their first game with how mediocre it is. Nioh 2 and its dlc's are just amazing.
@@dakota237 So many weird fumbles too; especially in QoL and level design going almost back to Nioh 1 levels of uninspired.
I also wanna know who was the one that decided to lock martial arts to RNG weapon drops in a martial game.
They have done a bunch of quality of life improvements, but a lot of the fundamental issues are obviously still around.
If you mean grabbing flags over and over again for repeated runs though I think they did patch that to let them stay active on repeats (even shortcuts open I think). Only read the patch notes though, never did check myself what it actually means.

I think I'll wait to see if; by the end of the content cycle, the game has improved to the point where I feel comfortable spending more money on it lol
The longsword that came with the new dlc makes it a new game and they also did a ton of quality of life changes
I thought this watching some of the later parts of the stream live, but your build is surprisingly strong for how underleveled you are. Had an easier time of it than my appropriate leveled build in NG+. NG+ obviously has the morale levels arbitrarily higher, but still kind of surprising to me.
Level doesn't matter only morale matters

After the failure that was wo-long they legit start out the dlc with snow-level number 50 with generic enemies? Cmon thats weak. Was actually kinda looking forward to this because of how good the nioh2 dlc was.
It feels like they had a conflict of narrative and interesting design. To tie it in narratively these are actually the most reasonable enemies they could have, but it's definitely uninteresting to play. The 3rd main level is alright, but these 2 not so much.
Even in base game when they were using these Yellow Turban enemies they usually threw in more demons than they did here, not sure why there are so few.

Cao Cao is the most ruthless territory, Lui Bei's is the most peaceful, and yellow turban clan was always going to fall😂. San Juan's was to prideful of a territory.
This game really missed the mark, they should just stick with the nioh series and expand on what they already have.

@NikZedikthing is id like what I pay cor to be long. Whether it be annoying because i wanna finish it i still wanna havr a good experience and have it be a long game. On top of that the story was better in nioh and felt easier to follow even with the time skips happpening. All in all alot of people agree with me but the nioh 2 formula and game direction in general was and went better then wolong.
I think...I'll be experiencing these DLC's through youtube like this. It does not seem like it's worth the money. So many reused enemies, even the bosses, feels extremely cheaply made for paid DLC. Could see exactly one new enemy type, they just change it's size throughout. Damn.

@@playfanstation8152try the 2nd dlc new weapon and it’s a longsword and they added a ton of improvements. Quality of life upgrades and also this dlc feels like a actually one with new enemies and locations. Try it out it’s fun now 🤷🏾♂️

Does this feel as good to play as Nioh 1/2? I was initially excited for Wo Long because of the setting and developer, but the awful launch and bad visuals turned me away. Even watching this DLC, it's distractingly ugly in my opinion. Is it at least worth getting if I've played Nioh to dust and want something Nioh-adjacent?

Clearly, you've never played Stranger of Paradise. There are several levels which are entirely comprised of corridors copy pasted throughout multiple floors with textures that wouldn't look out of place on a PS2.
Took them long enough to add a fist weapon. Still not enough to get me to play this game again though. Still too busy playing Final Fantasy 16.

Ech, nioh had recycled content and wo long isn't any different, lazy devs...
Nioh had a lot less was much more fun and easier story to follow. Personally i liked the gameplay more to like familarity was a little fun and i enjoyed the little skill trees more. This game felt alot more sekiro deflection based to draw the eyes but then things like the graphics at 6:39 kinda ruined it.

Get into elden rings pvp it will unspoil you and you'll get used to unfair and janky hitboxes unless your pc. I do get where your coming from but nioh fid much better then whatever this is........

I was talking about single player game... this bullcrap doesnt have visual clarity in the slightest... not saying that in ER its ALWAYS clear whats happening :D sometimes you fight the camera more then the mob but in Nioh and this one?? its crap compared to ER hitboxes.. all it has for me is graphics and since I am not a fan of this artstyle in games I cant say I like the game... not one bit... maybe playing it would be better but watching it is stupid to me... you dunno whats going on only reason I watch theese is bcs I fking love Prod and his work and streams... would watch him play fking mario 64 if he would upload it :D if you know what I mean by that statement

It's an open world game and playing through all of it again gets boring unless your making a new character as do all games. Pvp is to spice things up and change it but then again we are human and people have opinions 🤷. Not to mention some people are assholes. Why are you asking ? The debate was over like 2 weeks ago are you just trying to start bullshit ?
