Hi! my name is Estela and as an English teacher in primary I used the tic-tac-toe a lot to review any topic for example if we were studying questions I wrote a question in each space and to put the X or the O they have to read the question and answer it and all the members of each team can help to answer the question correctly, but that game can be used to reinforce any content and it's really relaxing and students like to play it. I divided the class in two teams Team X and Team O and they take turns to put the X or the O in each space, but first they have to overcome a challenge.
Only now, may God grant me success, and I discovered your channel, and I am an English teacher in Algeria. Really, you are a wonderful teacher, and I benefited from your ideas. I wish you success and more brilliance, and continue to spread useful knowledge. God bless you
Wow, thank you very much, Amel! I wish you nice, obedient and smart students in your class. May you never be hurt, sick or misunderstood. All the best to you and your family!
Hi Val! Thanks for the video♡ I sometimes use it for reading review; Ss draw question strips from a bag & if they can answer them, they write X/O on the board. The questions differ depending on their levels: lower level - Who/What is the story about? or higher levels - main problem/setting/character analysis/opinions, etc.
Outstanding teaching methodology sir you are really blessing for teacher, waiting for some more lessons please share reading lessons for grade 1 thanks
Thanks a million for this super simple game I'll do it with my students in third grade to practice the new words and the structures.. Then I'll tell you .How it is going. ☺
Thanks a lot! I am not great. Not at all. :)) I can't take any credit for this because these methods are based on the years of research made by other researchers and educators.
Hi Val . How are you ? I saw there was lockdown again. Well I call this game noughts and crosses . I play it with all my levels from 6 years up . Each level I make it more difficult like you did . It is a great way to practice vocabulary or structures . I prepare a PPT so they are ready to use at any time . All the best . I always watch your videos incase you do something I don´t 😃
Hi Letty. I'm doing well. Yes, schools are closed in Nanjing but people can move freely. Restaurants and shops are open, people walk in the parks, the city center is not deserted, so it's lockdown 2.0. This level of freedom is only possible if you were not tested positive, of course. Thank you for your comment. I'm happy you watch all my videos. All the best to you too!
The lockdown (a term that originated in prisons) is heartbreaking. I saw a video of many people in Shanghai shouting "We are starving!" from their homes and crying. I saw many cats stuffed into bags, beaten to death or almost to death and being collected in trucks along with dead and dying dogs and taken away to be burned like garbage. I heard that the food they sometimes give to the people who've been imprisoned in their homes is junk food like Spam and Oreo cookies. Some people say "We're doing this because we care about your health." But do they care about your health? They say they care, but they would punch you in the face for not staying in your prison. They say they care as they beat women in the street and take children from their parents. They say they care as they beat animals to death. It makes me wonder, if this is caring, what is hating? I wonder when this whole charade will end. Nobody knows. Two days become two weeks, two months... It seems endless. But for some, certainly for those cats and dogs, or people who are starving in their homes, it may end soon. It just won't be a happy ending.
Hello teacher, it was great, thanks for sharing... I can use this way.. (Write a description or information about the animals on the back of the cards then show my students the backs of the pictures to guess the name of the animal. once they manage to guess the answer I show them the picture. or ask them to copy the voice or movement of that animal.
Very useful and fun... I would like to know how to come up with a winner group. Do we go row by row or we go by columns? And how about turn taking, do we give a chance to another team when the other fails the question?
great game, better activity!! Thanks a lot. Can you share me the item that you use to stick the flashcards on the blackboard, please? I'm going to do a presentation and I need it so bad. Maybe... is it a magnetic blackboard? D:
That is a very interesting topic. How old are you students? I will think about it. PS One of my workshops at school was dedicated to workplace culture and ethics in China. It was a great success.

Thank you so much. Did you say it's a simple game. Well I don't think so. Coz I can use it a lot! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Nilda! This game is simple because it requires no or little preparation. That's what I meant by saying "simple". It is very versatile, yes.
U r a great teacher
Not really, but thank you very much for saying that!

No worries!
Very useful and fun... I would like to know how to come up with a winner group. Do we go row by row or we go by columns? And how about turn taking, do we give a chance to another team when the other fails the question?
The team that succeeds in placing three of their marks in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal row is the winner. Teams take turns to play.
I like finally I understand it😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's really cool game, I'll practice today 😍😍😍
I am glad you liked it, Nyusha! How did it go? :)
@@Teacher-Val thanks a lot. Kids was happy ❤ It's fun and improves skills. How to say "X" and "0". I sad cross and zero 😅

If the student.can.not make the sentence , does he loses the point?
They don't have any points to lose in this game. If students struggle with making a sentence, I usually ask their teammates to help them.
Thanks!
Is it possible for adults?
I think it will be too easy for adults. 😉
@@Teacher-Val so plz sir show us the possible strategies for adults..
