Thank you! One of my student's biggest struggles is his shy nature. I was looking for games that might make it a less stressful environment and some of these really help.
Ciao, thank you very much! I have found very interesting games to use in my classes. I'm an Italian teacher and l m quite sure l will use more than one of your games❤❤❤❤❤
I'd like to play this game during an outdoor activity in the school's garden, it's a nice and peaceful place. I would use this game as a lead-in activity (ice-breaker). They will write in group a story using all the Vocabulary ( words, verbs, adj) learnt in the previous. lessons. This game could be used as a warm up to refresh their memories and then l put them at work 😂, writing a story in group with the sentences they did as homework. In group chose the best sentences and build a story which will be read or act out in the park . I don't know if it's works 😊, let's see, ❤ GRAZIE
Wow I’m so glad that I found this amazing video! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely knowledge and I’ll be definitely playing those games with my students!
@@ESLTeacher365 Wow, thank you for the quick response. I apologize for the confusion. I looked at the Canva website and it appears to be a site that a rookie like me would go to in order to create a website were I to be setting up a website. I'm new to this field and I am exploring how to launch as an online teacher. I am currently doing the i-to-i tefl 420 hour course. While it appears that working for an existing online enterprise that hires people to teach English as a Second Language should be my first step, I'm contemplating setting up my own operation and admittedly, I have jumped the gun. I know that Canvas, being a LMS is currently way out of my league. By the way, your enthusiasm online is most inspiring.

Hi, about the Labyrinth game, do you read to them the definition of the phrasal verbs and then they choose/circle what they think is Correct? Is that right? many thanks!
No. They guess which word they think is the correct one on your path. Then, if it was that word, they need to provide a definition and:or use it in a sentence before they can guess the next word in the pattern in the row above.
Can you solve the problem of what formula can accurately be used to calculate the fair full cost of payment for an hour of hired labor for an employee of any ESL teacher !?
It’s a guessing game, so the students need to guess your pattern (double letters, words that start with a consonant, etc) Students guess words and you tell them yes or no based on the pattern you have selected (and they are trying to guess). A few students usually catch on and can help by giving examples for the other students.
@@alvaroxexno, actually. That’s a very common “problem”. I know she is trying to help and we appreciate it. But almost every video online about this topic is the same, they tell you what activities to do (sort of), but they don’t show you. As teachers, they should know that actually watching it would help a lot more. So, although it’s appreciated, it’s not very useful.

Hi. Thanks for the games. In whisper game, each student should whisper the word to his or her teammate or to the opposite team?
You will want to pair them up and they are trying to guess each other’s words.
thanks
seven easy games and it starts with intermediate learners..
Easy meaning they are low prep and easy for you to teach, not that they are all for beginners.

What do you think about Canva as a platform for an ESL teacher?
Do you mean Canvas? Canva is a graphic design website.

Would you like to have talk on skype to practice english?

I have used some of these games with up to 30 students in Spain or around 18 in Australia. You can always adapt them to the group size. Enjoy!

👍♥️ Fantastic

@@ESLTeacher365 and the pattern is the answer? I'm so sorry, I'm still lost yet I think I've heard this riddle but I still can't figure it out 😅
@@joinmejane yes, the answer will be whichever pattern you use :)
Loved it
Very nice thanks, but I didn´t understand the labyrinth game...:(
Check out the blog post linked in the description to see if the written explanation makes more sense 🙂
I would like to see how labyrinth works in the classroom
👍👍👍
For me, they would be more useful to watch students playing them as well! I’m not able to follow some of the rules!
Thanks for your input.
This video is interesting. But it should better show the practice rather than naration only.
Why don't you make a video like this then? She's trying to help and idiots like won't appreciate.
I don't know what I just read 😂 is it hard to understand what she's saying 😂😂😂😂😂
