Hi everyone Another useful video. I have been giving classes for many years but I love watching incase I can do something a little different. All the best
I am grateful for the lessons you present in your channel and I like your method of explanation. Mr. Val. Is it possible if you present simple lessons addressing students -with illustrations- instead of teachers ?!
Salem, it's a very good video that I see for the first time, What does the word sparkle mean? Can I replace it by go, Or your turn is finished Or the is over for you when the pupil goes back to his/ her seat.
"Sparkle" means to shine brightly, to throw out sparks. Yes, you can replace the word "sparkle" with any word you want. "Go," "Now," "Your turn," anything is okay! Honestly, I don't even know why this game is called "Sparkle"... Haha. Feel free to adapt it to your needs and call it whatever you want.
Teacher Val, Thank you for sharing this idea. This is what Im looking for.I mean the explanation of "What is sentence". You've shared the complete details and it is easy to understand.I'd always watching your all ideas.Looking forward to watch a new activity using sentence. Im struggling to do an activity sentence. Because it depends on the class numbers of my students. However, your brilliant ideas helping my skills going better. Thank you so much!
My 4grade students love this activity. Instead of "sparkle" we use "boom". It's a lot of fun. Everyone is involved and students memorize the structure of the sentence so fast. Thanks again, teacher Val. Looking forward to your new videos.
Amazing! It is so good, sir. However, I'd like to ask a question. How if the students forget the vocab shown in the flashcard (the student cannot answer). What should the student do? Go back to their seat? Thank you
I am not sure I understand the question. Make up what words? If you refer to the sentence "My favourite colour is blue", then you change the colour with each new group of students. 🙂
I think it is important to set boundaries and keep them. Introduce the class rules and consequences for not following them. Identify the leader in your class and make him/her your personal helper. Some teachers I know use a 3-strike system. Strike 1: eye contact, say the student's name, and tell him/her that you are not happy with the behavior. Strike 2: eye contact, say the student's name and ask him to stand up (2-3 min). Strike 3: student is removed from the activity and goes to a time-out zone (5 min). If nothing helps, involve the school administration. Perhaps, you need to invite the student's parents to sit in one of your classes.
Can you can help me te teach english for my 8 year kid .i like to teach english but i dont know wear to begen and what should i teach to him to talk ,and wright the english language like a native.if you can help me its a big help.caz i do not have enough mony to send him to english class to studdy.
RUclips is a great resource. Let your child watch cartoons and sing songs in English. Make sure they are subtitled. Start with the alphabet song, numbers, colours, school objects, etc.
@@Teacher-Val thank you very much to reply me. You are a gerat teacher . I think this is a problem to lots of parents in asion country .so if you can teach them step by step , what are the best sources to go through etc... its a huge help to buid their language like native. Coz in heir language is not tought in propper way.
Yes, this game would be too simple for teenagers. Check out my "Simple ESL Games" playlist. I'm sure you'll fine something that you can use in your classroom. Here is the link: ruclips.net/p/PL74FftQ3_xDIStxpR4PTrKOSZmePlIsh4

No, I help them out. I mouth the word or simply say it.
Thank you!!! Like and subscribe!👍
Thanks for the sub! 👍❤
Hello! How could you make up these words like colour, is in TPR? Or you just made it by yourself
I mean do you have some ready responces?
I am not sure I understand the question. Make up what words? If you refer to the sentence "My favourite colour is blue", then you change the colour with each new group of students. 🙂
What about the pattern: SUBJECT / VERB / ADJ / NOUN eg I am a happy boy
Yes, that works, too, but I wanted to keep it simple. :)

ı have noisy class 12-15 years old. what you say about it?

What does it mean sparkle????
"Sparkle" is just a key/trigger word to mark the end of the sentence. You can change it to any word you want.
Hi . Could you plz tell me how can I teach sentences to 12 or 13 years old children? I think they will get bored with this game😢😢

How to play the Sparkle game online with my kids?
It's not meant to be played online but I am sure you can adapt it to your situation.
