Rana getting so hyped the moment she saw Coulson made me smile. Long live the Son of Coul!
Daniel Babineau yeah but they need to catch up on Shield before this movie drops
surtur son of... a bitch
Long live Agents of SHIELD! ;)
If May shows up, even as a cameo, I'm gonna flip.
That will be crazy! The Cavalry!!!!!
Finally someone excited to see Coulson!
Holy shit, COULSON? I might like him more than THOR.
The only people reacting excitedly to Coulson are the ones who watch Agents of Shield. I’ve been going through looking at reactions. People who don’t watch AoS are really missing out.
Wowowow I didint even notice him!!!!
Go check out blindwave
...Everyone except me are excited to see him where have you been? Lol
The movie is set in the 90s and both a young Fury and Coulson are in it.
I've missed Agents of SHIELD SO much.
Agents of Shield is awesome!
Very sad that old Agent Carter isn't there. :(
Iron Man wasn't Coulson's first rodeo 😋
Melissa Anderson She probs enjoying retirement at this point.
I love that they started Agents of shield early enough to get excited to see Coulson in the trailer.
You do not have to see Agents of SHIELD to be excited to see Coulson again. I loved the character from his presence in Iron Man, Thor, and The Avengers.
@@farakhhanif But it sure helps, does it not?
farakhhanif Nope, most people would forget Coulson even existed if it wasn't for AoS. Avengers, Iron Man and Thor was a *really* long time ago, and his role was very small in all of them.
If Loki didn't kill him in Avengers, he may as well be a non-existent character. Even Maria Hill seems more important than him in the movies.
Xetren Yeah. You watch the movies you probably love Coulson. You watch the movies *and* SHIELD, you wanna have the man's babies. Just sayin'. There's love and then there's lllllllooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeeeee.
@@farakhhanif but even better from Agents of Shield ☺
Rana vigorously flapping her sweater proves that it was Coulson.
*_Thanos has left the game_*
Thanos will reck Captain Marvel or shall I say Miss Marvel.
Deven Armstrong Oh you sweet summer child. So adorable.
Deven Armstrong Lmao....Do you even Marvel? “Wreck Captain Marvel?” 😂
aeris44 she probably won’t be as strong as she is in the comics and if thanos doesn’t beat it would make since he just has to use all stones same time and turn to dust if he doesn’t it will show how trash this version of thanos is since oh was killing machine
Set in the 90's. Yes it's Coulson. Not much info on what Captain Marvel is about. Except she's the reason that Blockbuster went bankrupt because she destroyed their headquarters when she fell through it. She also hates old ladies. Music is cool. Will definitely see this movie. Peace and Love from Cancun.
Lmao
Loved Rana's reaction to Coulson. If you want to see the start of Shield, you need to watch Agent Carter. Shield was already in existence for many years when this movie takes place, which is in the 90's. Agent Carter (Cap's love) created Shield back in the 60's, I believe.
Rana is like on point with everything Marvel haha she definitely spotted Coulson and the excitement was everything I expected lol
It’s a hyped day Captain Marvel and Netflix adapting a live action series of Avatar the Last Airbender with Bryan and Michael; all on the same day!
Ruben Avalos avatar cartoon or serie?
RA SOLISA
Live action. *But* it also has the original creators on board.
Air force pilot lost in space, turned into a kree warrior, fights the skrull who are an enemy of the kree, chase them to earth...crashes and meets fury while trying to locate her targets.
Skrull are shape shifters hence the old lady scene.
As for the outfit I think its a huge team behind it but Andy Park I believe is the lead custom designer for Marvel or one of them and designed Captain Marvel's outfit.
I love how they got more excited about Coulson, than the whole trailer 😂
*AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER*
Live-Action *NETFLIX* series *ANNOUNCED TODAY* !!
edit: With the Original Creators (Bryke) Involved!
yikes
what?
erm whats wrong with this trailer its pretty good. gonna be honest not that excited for this. i don't see the point.
Oh no...
That sounds awful :( What horrible news
1) It’s set in the 90’s
2) It won’t be the origins of Shield, because that happened in the first Captain America and followed up through the other movies.
3) She’s born on earth, lived on earth then got taken/chose to leave (depending on what they do with it), stayed in space, then has come back for some reason, with no recollection of her past.
4) This will most likely show how Fury lost his eye
Anyone with anything else to add, comment below what I missed.
"COULSON" Glad i got the reaction I was expecting Lol
I love how Rana sneak in "Date Night" lol ... When she got her powers from the kree her dna was alter .... And yes Rana that was coulson!!!! It's the 90s guys
captian marvel upon returning to earth has flashes of memories that show her growing up on earth but she does not know if these memories are real. to sum it up
Don't know how the movie will play it (it will definitely be different), but in the comics Carol Danvers is a human who grew up on Earth then became a friend to Captain Mar-Vell of the Kree, who also gained cosmic powers. Later a Kree device caused her to get some of his Kree DNA and also his power. She became Ms. Marvel and he later died of cancer. There were a few other Captain Marvels, including Mar-Vell's kids, but eventually for one reason or another they each adopted a different superhero identity later. Carol changed her name to Binary then Warbid then back to Ms. Marvel, then finally in 2012 adopted the Captain Marvel name since she was following Mar-Vell's legacy and got her powers from him. Soon afterward a teenager named Kamala Khan became the new Ms. Marvel.
Rana's reaction to Coulson was priceless!
She's a soldier fighting in Kree special forces. Her memories of earth had been wiped (see the machine where she's upside down.) She crashes on Earth in the 90's and is surprised to find others like her. As she starts having memories of her life before she left earth, Nick Fury and Agent Coulson help her figure out what's going on while fighting off a Skrull invasion.
Based on what I remember about the comic character, Carol Danvers was human and grew up to be a fighter pilot and SHIELD agent. I imagine they'll be changing her origin story somewhat, but it looks like that aspect will be the same. It looks like the movie will have her going off to join either The Nova Corps or the Kree military. Her flying in space (without a ship) and shooting energy blasts from her hands screams Nova Corps, but the star symbol on her and her team's chests is the Kree exploding star. Also, the helmets they're wearing in space are dead ringers for the helmet the Kree soldier Captain Mar-Vell wore as part of his uniform (before he got his powers.)
We know Thanos devastated Xandar before catching up with the surviving Asgardians and then going to Earth. She and her team could be involved in trying to stop Thanos (not knowing that he's powered up with 5 Infinity Stones.) Perhaps she was on her way to Earth anyway, following his trail of destruction.
BTW, Catwoman was one of the worst superhero movies ever made. Shaq's superhero movie Steel was better.
If you've seen the 90s Xmen cartoon you've seen Carol Danvers. Rogue stole her powers back when she was Ms. Marvel...
Yep...that's how she got her strength and ability to fly from. I still call Carol "Ms Marvel" to this day. To me Mar-Vell will always be Captain Marvell.
Yep, that was totally Coulson!
My theory is that she was stranded in space somehow, or went through some sort of accident while she was still a fighter pilot, the Kree found her near-death, took her body, hijacked or blocked her memories of her life on Earth and kind of used her for their own purposes to protect/defend the Kree homeworld or it's interests. They iumbue her with Kree dna and at some point Mar-Vell (jude Law) passes on his cosmic power to her.
Through some series of events, she gets stranded back on Earth, meets Fury, coulson, is retracing her steps, and becoming who she was meant to be as a hero, and somewhere along the line adopts the name "Captain Marvel."
Also, a big theory is that this is probably one of coulson's first missions as a SHIELD agent, and it's also gonna show us how Fury lost his eye. My theory is that it's a Skrull that does it. But we'll see.
Peggy Carter was in SHIELD, it started years before. I'm hoping she's in this. 👍
She would still be old
Super old
She was in the start of _Ant-Man_ and that was 1989. This is 1994-1995. So she could still show up as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
@@loganbigmo 94' - 95'? Coulson is said to be a MC Hammer Stan in the film, but Hammer had fallen off by that point.
Did Bad Boy or Death Row Records not exist in the MCU?
I love rana reaction when she saw Coulson 😂🤣😂
9:26 - 9:27 "coulson coulson!" LOL
In the comics, Carol Danvers was a pilot who got caught in an explosion with Kree Hero Mar-Vell, who endeared himself to Earth after some reconnaissance there to see if they were a threat or if any Skrulls were about, because of the explosion Carol's DNA was merged with Mar-Vell's and she took over from him when he died of Cancer. Before then she was Miss Marvel, which'd be filled by Kamala Khan, an Inhuman. Different Ethnicities is kinda right Mar-Vell was a guy but the role has also been filled by Monica Rambeau - who has taken on many names - a daughter of Carol's fellow USAF Pilot, Genis and Phyla-Vell who are genetically engineered children of Mar-Vell and his lover (worth noting that Phyla is LGBT), a sleeper Skrull named Khn'nr who turned good and Noh-varr, also known as Marvel-Boy, who is an enhanced Kree. You may also be mixing it with Miss Marvel; who was filled by Danvers, Khan (a muslim also), Sharon Ventura before she became She-Thing and villain Moonstone.
This trailer may have similar origins, but it seems that they may've wiped her memory and made her a soldier of Star Force
There are Blockbusters in Canada, I think only 3 or 4 remain
It was Coulson, of course it'd be a younger Coulson if it was set in the past with pre-eyepatch Fury
Marvel forgetting that Elektra movie, though not MCU...Also Designed by a female? Carol's suit is based off of her comic iteration, which was created by Jamie McKelvie, a dude. He also did Kamala Khan's outfit in the comics.
That being said, while Carol is INSANELY Powerful, there are some in the comics even more powerful, Sentry is like Godmode on Godmode, his strength is described as the 'power of one million exploding suns' but the kicker is that everyone forgets him after his duty is done.
That was a marvelous trailer and reaction... :)
ronan and korath are also in it
You see a explosion in the trailer that's where her DNA gets alerted and she gets taken away and her memories deleted. She is fighting in her new team and trough a crash she comes back to earth and starts to remember.
The movie is set in the 90s and a younger Fury and Coulson will appear in it, though we don’t know how much of the story will have them. This isn’t so much the origin of SHIELD as that origin is more detailed in Agent Carter and that’s eventually born from Peggy Carter and Howard Stark back in the 40s. But this is the origin of Nick Fury’s quote at the end of the first Iron Man movie when he told Tony Stark “you think you’re the only superhero?” and how “you’ve become part of a bigger universe, you just don’t know it yet” -- this is the origin to Fury’s encounter with the bigger universe and probably the thing that reinvigorated his belief in SHIELD’s mission.
This is set in the 90s, hence Blockbuster, Carol wearing a shield hat and Nine Inch Nails band t-shirt. The origin is slightly different than the comic. Carol Danvers is a pilot and comes into contact with a Kree ship, and to Kree DNA via an explosion, which alters her genetics and becomes Captain Marvel.
Goodness sake, just look at the history of who she is in the comic books. She is an American air force pilot that despite all odds becomes the Fighter pilot, during one of our flying saucers she gets hit by Kreel energy At his house he becomes Captain Marvel working in a black Ops style unit on an alien world, she is falling back to worth as that genetically altered human that is why she can remember bits of her past on earth, in this movie they will obviously explain at the end why she hasn’t been helping out the avenges earlier on in the series
The last Blockbuster is in Bend, Oregon. A few hours south of where I live. People take selfies with the storefront; it's hysterical. This trailer looks like fire.
Set in the 90s, gonna show Fury lose his Eye.. She’s from earth, she’s a pilot, she had her dna mixed w MarVel a crie soldier in a explosion, its during a small peice of the Crie Skrull War that has been going on for centuries. Shield is already a thing, Fury didn’t train her, Fury thought Thanos invasion of Wakanda was another Skrull Invasion.. she’s part of a Crie team that has Ronan and his people
Carol Danvers is a human that was affected by Kree energy and that's how she got her superpowers
From the trailer, Carol Danvers was a test pilot who was kidnapped by the Kree, and becomes a member of the Kree military. For some reason, she returns to Earth, and, during that time, meets a young Nick Fury.
The Kree probably whipped her memories after she got her powers like winter soldier.
Great reaction and dude i saw you at Lost Lands lol i respect the X hat!
Renzo Sifuentes awe should’ve said hi 😊
I like the music in the beginning. Now that I have seen this trailer few times it feels ok, but first time it felt good.
1:00 "absolutely not." :D
3:03 & 5:16 Guess who is excited about Coulson being in the movie... :)
Marketa has a new hair colour. I like it.
Tsögö Bauggi I love the music, is it the music from the now-you-see-me movie? It sounds like it...
Lol 😹🔥
Basic captain marvel breakdown: she was in space working with Mar-vel on some thing sciency when they got attacked and Jude law(playing Mar-vel) get killed and she basically gains his power in a Bruce banner type of way. As far as her crashing, that I forgot gimmie a minute
Captain Marvel is human, but the explosion of a Kree device changes her DNA to part Kree and gives her powers
She is earthling, getting comsic powers. left earth, came back, left earth is coming back
Think I’ve seen a blockbuster sign still around in California (near Richmond), dunno if the store is actually open tho
She was on earth in the past, but she doesn’t remember it. She has flashbacks of her old life, but I’m pretty sure her memory was wiped somehow. Like when she said “I think I had a life here, but I can’t tell if it’s real” :)
My guess for the movie: the Skrulls heavily damage SHIELD (and Nick Fury's eye), and Captain Marvel gets blamed for it. At the end of the movie, either Fury "banishes" her from Earth, or she tells something like "I'm never coming back!"
Then the post credits will be Fury about to destroy his pager, and Ant-Man and/or other Avengers show up from present day and tell him to keep it.
This is not a spoiler, but Carol Danvers was born a pure-blooded human - she became half-Kree due to being exposed to Kree experiments, which also gave her incredible powers. The exact details of this haven't been revealed to us yet, though; hopefully the amnesia element is handled well however, since that is VERY easy to screw up (and what I'm most worried about so far). Also, the movie is set in the 90s, so both Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg were de-aged about 25 years to play younger versions of their characters. Regrettably, they seem to have decided to not have Peggy Carter (a founder and longtime member of S.H.I.E.L.D.) appear in this movie; too bad, but I'm sure it will still be an excellent product regardless.
Marketa looks different in every video they do. lol.
...and yet she remains sullen & beautiful. : )
I am excite!! I ain’t gonna front I don’t know too much about her but I read her backstory...at first it was very very confusing to be honest but after hearing more about her via random RUclips videos I am more and more excited!! And THAT SUIT YOOOOO! So many cool scenes... visually..in the trailer!!
So Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (AoS) is currently in 5 seasons. Obviously they are all on Netflix. They are currently in production right now and season 6 will not be returning until the summer of next year most likely to accommodate the season to take place after the events of Avengers 4. The next season will most likely be the last season as they have announced it will only be 13 episodes long rather than the usual 22.
Captain marvel is half Kree and human and has energy absorption powers, flight, speed and strength. It take place before avengers and nicks first time meeting someone with powers
Oh, I... now I get it. The Nick Fury ending in infinity War. That's who he... I need to pay more attention obviously.
And guys and gals. Get a Logitech Wireless K400 keyboard or something so you can hit the space-bar from the sofa! :)
Lmao
Unfortunately there was a split several years ago which resulted in Kevin Feige being named President of Marvel Studios, but they (Disney) left the old guy (literally) in charge of Marvel TV. After that happened they stopped almost all of the tie-in's between the Marvel TV shows and MCU films, and that's unlikely to change until doddering old Ike P. kicks the bucket. They can use Coulson because he originated in the MCU and he's a well known SHIELD agent and since the film takes place in the past, SHIELD is still around.
Fury is basically just an average SHIELD agent when he meets Carol. She clearly has amnesia about growing up on Earth based on her voice-over in the trailer, so it appears she was abducted by the Kree at some point which is probably when she got her powers. Her return to Earth appears to be an accident, though you can't trust trailers to tell you the story straight, so we can't really be certain of her timeline yet.
For the record, the last Blockbuster is in Oregon. There's actually a video about it.
She was an American Air force test pilot and colonel. There was an accident with a Kree ship that gave her her powers but I don't know how much of that they intend to use.
Without spoiling Skye's story or Captain Marvel, they are both generally related to Kree experiments on humans but they are not the same "thing"
Dana says- This isn't the origins of SHIELD or Fury with SHIELD. (Peggy Carter founded what would one day be called SHIELD decades before this.) But someone in another reaction vid. said they heard this was supposed to be when Coulson was a rookie agent of SHIELD. IDK. I'm there for it though.
Aw look at both of you guys' hair! Looks nice.
Looks like she is handling a Skrull situation. The entire Infinity War took place is such a short period of time within a battlefield hidden from the rest of the world. Other than seeing it on the news, its hard to say whether or not she could have done anything. Ronan was there, so I would have to say this film is cemented in the past, or within a flashback. Also, it seems as though she might have shifted the color spectrum of her armor. It seems too exact in comparison. Nick has both eyes! Is this where they finally enter the XMEN, because I am fairly sure, Wolverine was the one that took his eye.
Her DNA was fused with an Alien during an explosion giving her the same powers as him.
The Skrulls are in this film, and they are an alien race that can shapeshift. I think she was a human that was taken from Earth like Star Lord was.
Marketa is like the mom in this video, I LOVE IT.
She’s a human who was abducted by kree (same apple as ronin) and experimented on where she gained her abilities
actually shield was founded after cap died.it was lead by peggy character and tony's father. captaim marvel is set in the 90s when nick was not the director at that time yet. maybe it was ironman's father.
The first female Marvel superhero movie was in 2005 (Electra), finally we have another. I hope this one ignites a trend towards more female Marvel character movies.
Her origin story os similar to She-Ra where She-Ra a.k.a. Adora was a Force Captain of Hordak but eventually realizes that she is the twin brother of He-Man a.k.a. Adam which is a force of good then defected afterwards from Hordak and joined the rebellion. What I also like about the trailer is the BGM, it feels like alieny, outer spacey music which definitely fits the movie. This movie will be EPIC! 😍👍🏻👏🏻🇵🇭 #CaptainMarvelFTW
Set during the 90s. They will show how she got her powers. She came back after being in the Star Force.
Those green creatures are skrulls. Take the form of any creature. The old lady that she punched is probably a skrull. They’re most likely the main enemies of the movie.
Shout out to the chick in the middle representing GIANTS NATION. We'll get that ship right soon. GMEN 4 LIFE!!
this isn't going to be an origin story.....Carol Danvers is a MAIN shield agent, but this is gonna bounce back and forth...she's gonna already have her abilities when the movies comes out
She is actually Human but you can even see it in the trailer, the Kree genetically modify her so she's Human/Kree hybrid yeah.
Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) was a USAF pilot and she came into contact with Marvell (Jude Law) and was taken in by the Kree that's a basic recap I won't give you any more spoilers.
Captain Marvel: bringing the old to justice one right hook at a time!
That poor Blockbuster, they didn't have enough revenue to repair the damages so they just shut the whole chain down.
Yes, Carol is wearing a Shield cap.
Rana is confusing Kamala Khan (current Ms Marvel) with Carol Danvers (current Captain Marvel and previous Ms Marvel). The only other ethnicity Captain Marvel has been played by is the Kree named Mar-Vell (Jude Law in the film). It's the latter's title that Carol Danvers inherits, and then later Kamala Khan takes up the now vacated Ms Marvel title. Kamala is a huge fan girl of Carol Danvers. Also Kamala Khan is a new 21st century superhero. Now there have been two other characters that have briefly referred to themselves as Ms Marvel (Sharon Ventura - who eventually becomes She Thing, and Karla Sofen - who is a villain), but it's generally Carol and Kamala that are the two individuals considered to be legit Ms Marvel (the former the past version and the latter the current version).
@2:07 They are entering project Pegasus facility from the first avengers movie where the Tesseract was first activated and teleported Loki to earth.
I think Captain Marvel’s Powers our something farther beyond just being something that’s Kree blood. Remember Ronan was Kree too and he feared Thanos up until the point where he obtained the Power Stone.
Yes it’s coulson! It’s set in 90’s so coulson is still alive
There will be NO connection between this movie and Agents of Shield. Colson is here because he was established in the movies first. In the comics, he and Fury are best friends who served together for years before they joined SHIELD.
The Fury who is best friend's with Coulson is not the Nick Fury we know, that's Marcus Johnson aka Nick Fury Jr.
What this movie trailer make me think of is when Marvel make Storm's first solo film it will be savagely boss!
Dana says- Cool to see excitement for a SHIELD tie in. Coulson and Fury look good. I'm hoping against hope for at least a mention of Melinda May in relation to Coulson because they did work together a lot back in his early days at SHIELD, but probably won't see it. That's okay. I'll still love seeing anything that links the TV universe with the MCU. (Guess SHIELD fans can tell where The Normies are in their SHIELD reactions.)
Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) is really powerful. She could take on Thor. She may not beat him, but she could put up a really good fight.
In the comic, Captain Marvel gets her powers from a dying alien I think. Also MY BOI PHIL
Fyi the last remaining Blockbuster is in Oregon and it's privately owned due to the fact that they no longer have a headquarters to ship new movies to them. I know this from watching something on the discovery channel I think, could have been the history channel not entirely sure.
The story is n the 90's she was a pilot in the air Force and something happened to where she went to outerspace
actually the one in Alaska got shut down.. the very last blockbuster that's still open is in Oregon
+The Normies Also I don’t want to ruin anything for you guys but here’s how she got her powers of you wanted to know and didn’t already
***********SPOILERRRR SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER*************................
...So we already know she’s a pilot in the Air Force but eventually she went on to work for NASA who happened to be researching a device that was apparently some sort of Kree attack robot. Somehow it got activated and went on a rampage...and Carol Danvers (aka Captain Marvel)’s coworker turned out to be an undercover Kree agent (Mar-Vell) who saved her and stopped the robot and he was dubbed Captain Marvel via the press. After that traumatic experience she grew closer and closer to Mar-Vell until a rouge Kree named Yon-Rogg who hated him learned of their budding relationship and kidnapped Carol. Yon-Rogg hooked Carol up to a machine that turned thoughts into reality which eventually exploded and Mar-Vell/The First Captain Marvel shielded her and the explosion caused her DNA became infused with Kree DNA and gave her seemingly limitless super human powers! Flight, strength, and the most important the ability to absorb energy and turn it into beams of energy that shoot from her hands. Eventually something happened to the first Captain Marvel and Carol decided to take on his name and use her powers for good by joining a Kree intergalactic space police force that stopped bad guys...which leaves us at the beginning of this upcoming...or at least I’m assuming.
I am guessing they are going to start the movie with Carol being a part of the space force that was put together to stop intergalactic crimes and she just can’t remember where she came from via memory loss from that machine that gave her those bad ass powers. Also since her backstory is very very strange for the average super hero fan I feel as though Marvel will change some things to simplify it because Carol was so many different things before the beginning of this movie: Fighter pilot, CIA Agent, Nasa security employee, etc...and not to mention the complicated way she got her powers...a man who was given the same name as her Captain Marvel saved her from a rouge Kree agent whom kidnapped her and hooked her up to a machine that messed with her mind which exploded and several things lined up making thee exact right circumstances for her DNA to become infused with alien DNA. Yeah so not your average teenager science nerd who got bit by a radioactive spider or military tech industry billionaire who used his technology to build himself a flying suit with weapons.
The Son of Caul is returning to a MCU movie!
That Blockbuster in Alaska is now closed.
I can't wait for this. I'm mostly excited to see Mar-Vell(the original Captain Marvel)and Coulson of course.
Apart of me feels like they might introduce SWORD, basically the shield of space
Without spoilers I can only say that you are guys right that Carol is human-Kree hybrid BUT not in the way as you guys thinks.
She was fully human (born and raised on earth) and then things happened
where do your Funko Pops get their glasses?
Asking for a friend.
Set in the 90s
I love your hair color, Marketa!
I'm so excited
Loved the double dose of Carol👍
Not quite the origins of Shield. Check out agent Carter for those stories. Tony Starks dad Howard and Peggy Carter covered that territory.
Hello guys. COULSON. In the MCU she will be half Kree. Fury.
This isn't copying the comics, and the story was literally explained in the trailer. She starts off thinking she's kree with no memory of her life on Earth, but she starts having flashes of memories of having a life on Earth, so she comes back to Earth to find out the truth.
I think Elektra is technically the first ever female lead Marvel movie.
Usually I don’t check out all of the Normies reactions, but I caught the Captain Marvel words. Cool 😎 $hit guys... can wait for last season of GOT. Peace
