They're not hating on Captain Marvel, they're hating on Brie Larson and the disrespect she's showing off-screen and it even appears other actors don't really like her if you've seen the interviews.

As Jon over here said, it's because Larson is a massive bitch and entitled, and her co-stars clearly don't like her, either, despite what they're forced to claim when people see how much they don't like her.

Daniel Ezulike what attitude? She seems pretty chill in her interviews. Maybe a bit awkward but I don’t see an attitude. And I agree, after a couple rewatches it was kind of bland, but that’s not on Brie, that seems like a director problem which is why they aren’t returning for the sequel.

I like that Fury lied about what happened to his eye to try and make it sound more impressive than it really was. It humanizes him.

He refers to the incident "I lost my one good eye" Fury is saying that when he trusted Cap to bring the Avengers together, Captin let one of his best agents die, therefore I lost an eye.

it requires a bit of investigation. but in a few words: they screwed the original captain marvel, nick's eye story, they disrespected the original female captain marvel, they ruined the Skrulls and the possibility of a future Secret Invasion by making them innocent victims of the Kree. they wasted ronnan and coulson. and also impresions before the movie didn't fair well with larson's statements, the pushing on the ''strong woman against a male world'' by both marketing and certain groups that are more into politics than comics and their proper adaptations. also, she came too late to the party. her origin story was introduced a few months before the end of a long series of movies that all culminated in End Game. in the eyes of the average person, it was a decent movie. in the eyes of the informed fans of both the comics and the MCU, it was all a mistake after another.

You know, it imo wasn't too bad.
Not great or groundbreaking; but still (mostly) fun, entertaining, and kept my attention all the way through.
It definitely wasn't crucial to the MCU but it's a fun movie to watch when you don't wanna kill yourself over Endgame or Infinity War.
Captain marvel still has a lot of potential for the character so I hope the second could be better though it wasn’t a bad movie

In Brazil everybody laugh a lot when the cat appears inside the spaceship (3:26), and they love it the movie after all.
My theatre was completely silent, except for that one time where Talos was shot and I screamed really high

To this day I believe they should have released the Black Widow movie during that year gap between infinity war and endgame, and saves the Captain Marvel movie for 2020. Maybe throw some more explanatory dialogue in Endgame to give some vague backstory for Cpt M.
So if this took place before Iron Man, etc., why is Fury referring to "SHIELD", instead of the loooong, awkward mouthful Coulson was using and saying, "We're going to have to do something about that"?
