I'm going against the negative comments here. For the price, this is great. Especially if the old bumper is bent and damaged. This was a great father and son project. Looks tough.
Really great - I just bought my 2004 yesterday F150 Supercab and love this video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. They should have an option for fog lights as well so you could put the driving lights in as well as Fog lights. They should have a bracket so they lean down a bit instead of 'straight on'.

What I don't get, is why you left the OEM plug for the fog lights intead of just replacing with the spade connectors... Seems like a route for water and corrosion.

How large of tires can you fit after putting this bumper on? It seems to add more clearance than the factory bumper.
I have a 2008 expedition, I would like to know if this bumper would fit. I know that the Headlights are different on the 08 F150 from the 08 expedition. If I replaced the expeditions headlights with F150 headlights, Do you think I could fit this bumper on?
Wish there was more bumpers avalible with receiver hitches instead of permeant mount winches
This is the bumper I'm likely going with for mine since mine is bent, twisted, and also cracked right under the fascia. It will look really nice with the fiberglass fenders it has.

@americantrucks do you have to reinstall the end retaining bolts on the fenders for the bumper? Or was that only for the fascia?
I recently bought a dv8 front bumper for my Dodge Ram 2500. It is very heavy and bulky (over300#s) and sticks out a lot. But the biggest issue is that the led light shine at an angle so they don’t shine on the road ahead of you. They won’t take back this defective item either after you mount it and realize that they have made a horrible product.
You showed how to put the bumper brackets on but when you start connecting it to truck you have the bumper brackets on different.
It looks like he put them on the wrong side, so later in the video they appear to be swapped. I looked at pics of this bumper on ebay and from the back, the bracket tabs should be on the inside of the bumper, not the outside.
Just ordered me one found it on eBay for $391
hood latch is in the middle pf the bumper not the side. how does this latch?

Why did you keep the factory fog light connector? Why not just hard wire it into the power and ground?

No I get that but could you could just use the connectors he used with out factor connector or is there a reason he left it like is there a possible fuse in it?
It's a cleaner look inside the truck that way! Now we can just use the factory fog light switch when we want to use the LEDs. -Zach

I didn't get directions and they told me to call the manufacturer. In China! These bumpers are from China! The website says satisfaction guaranteed?

The video is not the way to install the bumper. Center on truck, then the wings....

That is what I was thinking as well. Mount the center first because once it is centered, the wings will follow. Plus, easier moving it around because of weight.
Lol, nah. But a coyote powertrain would be a great upgrade.

I'm just looking for a winch bumber that I can use to pull felled trees out of the forest... I have an F150, so, it isn't a beauty contest for me. This looks inexpensive and sturdy enough for that task and occasionally freeing up a stuck tourist.

Looks so cheap and a three piece bumper is not going to save crap if you get hit on the corners. IRON BULL bumpers are the best!
