I definitely want to get this bumper. I’ve got one of their front bumpers on my 2011. I do like it. Just wish the bumper lined up to the wheel well. That’s my only complaint. I did switch the lights out for more quality set.
Awwesome instructional, I am installing this exact bumper on a 2013 FX4 right now so this is very helpful. Word to the wise - get a friend to assist with the heavy lifting part if possible! Also a couple milkrates or something to lay the stock bumper on during removal is helpful and safe.
Excellent video. Installing mine now. Thank you! Subscribed!
Looks great!
Thanks brotha
How did you connect the license plate light? I didn’t see anything on there
I don’t know if you realize it, but part of your wrangler is missing!
Nice video, i just installed same bumper on my 13, seems as though you’re missing d rings too! Item description says it’s supposed to come with them, mine did not. 😢. I intend to wire my lights on a switch, do you think I need all that relay crap or just go straight to the rocker.. (yes I will have a fuse either way.
They draw little enough power that you’d be okay without a relay most likely
lol @ "These Nuts" 6:56 I'm easily amused. Anyways... I seen these on Amazon and wonder how sturdy they are being 3 pieces. It would annoy the hell out of me if I have to keep aligning them. Cause they loosen up. Also, how well would they take a hit? Good vid man!
Haha it’s solid man. I haven’t had to tighten them or realign them once since the install. Pretty stout also. I have no doubt it could take a decent hit
@@aguywithajeep Guess you could always add some red Loctite too.
I just got this bumper on American trucks can't wait to get it but is that daylight on the edge of the weld on bumper at 10:50 ?
Yeah there’s a small open section for water drainage in the corner.
Hi I just installed this on my f150, what did you torque the bolts to attach the bumper to the frame to?
Whatever google said, I don’t recall off hand
Just installed the same bumper on my 2017 F150. There's no way the Parking Aid sensors are going to work, there's not enough room for the plug. I noticed you didn't hook yours up also in this video. and the Spare tire lock will not work either, something else you neglected to put on in this video.
My rear parking sensors are plugged in with no issues. I don’t remember even trying the spare tire lock though.
How long did it take you to install? Thinking about doing it myself.
Probably 2-3 hours total including wiring the lights
I want to buy these how are they holding up? Any rust any corrosion? Maybe make an update video?
No rust or corrosion. There’s a clip of it in my front bumper video where you can see how it’s holding up
@@aguywithajeep sold! Thank you
What is the gap on the driver side of the license plate for?
Trailer hitch wiring if you want to move it up there.
I see your in sc you want to get rid of the oem bumper im in Florence
Shoot me a message on Instagram @ Aguywithajeep
yo where did you get the parts like this? 6:10 in video
They came with the bumper
What Nuts? Why DeezNuts......
How did you connect the license plate light? I didn’t see anything on there
If I remember right it was just unplugging the original one and plugging in the new one. I’ll double check in a bit and update if different.
@@aguywithajeep the connector on the new bumper is completely different... I'm having the same issue
