Love Harrys channel.
This guy has used his industry contacts and obvious love of cars to create probably one of the best car review channel in the world. Aside from his knowledge and great real world tests, he has a personality that makes him instantly likeable and easy to listen to. TV car shows are pretty much dead at this point. Long live Harry and his garage!😎👍
Absolutely, been following him for years. Brilliant guy.
Yes & it's good to see Harry DOESN'T abuse caffeine like Doug Demuro! 👍
Your telephone is causing that audio interference Harry.
That's it indeed! Used to have the same problem when playing on the electric guitar and the speaker, thank you.
I always think its my phone and I'm about to get a call. LOL

Yes that’s it. Usually radio mics. Signal search can also cut the audio. Believe me I know to my peril working in the TV industry

When automotive giants like Bentley, ask you to drive their car, you know you’re doing well 🤩 best car channel on RUclips
Brave of them to offer to give you it as a farm car! Shows some degree of confidence in it off-road, at least.
i like how in your reviews, you're neutral, ( without all the excess hype around the fact it's "luxury" & "expensive") you review it as a normal car , it's very refreshing & nice, because when you do own or use one, the hype goes away & what stays is the basics which is what you look for in your reviews 👍🏻 thanks
If that's a farmer's car, either your crop is usually grown in a heated and lit loft 😉

Harry has a knack of telling us exactly what we want to know without talking down to us, really enjoy his reviews.
I am a simple man. It is Sunday, harry is on, I watch and I am happy.
Simple and happy..perfect mix. At least we dont have to fret about never having the spare change to buy a Bentley...even if it has a towbar sod off harry you're taking the piss..also crap wading ability but at least it's got rubber seals on door bottoms so it doesn't make make a mess from you're wellies.. also very quiet on your noisy bit of road, excellent I'll have two how much are they? How much will I get from scrappage scheme for my Lamborghini?
You mobile phone is causing that noise, turning your phone off solves the problem. When I was in a band we would get the exact same sound over our super loud PA system if we left our phones on.
Rarely hear that audio interference these days. It used to be a HUGE problem on film sets. Sound dept. made literally everyone turn their phones off. Pissed off the producers.
Agree its a mobile signal interfering with Harry's recording equipment but a lot of vehicles have their own internal GSM mobile connection so may not just be Harry's mobile Best option would be to protect the recording equipment from RF interference
Flight mode!!
@@David-is1uv Agreed. We have a pet tracker with built in GSM and it causes the same noise if you leave it on near audio equipment. Not heard a phone do that for a decade so it was a bit of a flashback when it started happening.

When Bentley tries to convince you that their car is good for farming, you've made it in farming.

"Suppress the outside world." To me that's the personal philosophy of most Bentley owners (and most politicians).
It's everybody. It's just most people can only afford a pair of big headphones.
you can do that in a camry
I'm not a farmer, or a landowner, I don't have 180 grand, or even £140,000. But even with 140 quid and a window box, I'd be very happy to live with one of these (and 28mpg). Thanks, Harry.
Hey Lemma am here to help make that money you don't have in couple of few months, ask me how possible is that?
I'm a rural western Canadian who works in oil and gas, drives an F-150. Ever since I saw pics of this SUV outfitted with the fly fishing package I've been smitten, daydreaming of cruising about to the foothills streams and rivers I frequent being surrounded in all that beautiful wood and leather!
Hey man that cool you really want this car but am here to help you ask me how?
Love the videos Harry, informative, professional, very well delivered and palatable for the layman...keep up the good work Harry ! I used to work for Bentley and Aston Martin
Remember the old Rolls slogan? “The loudest sound in a Bentley going 70 mph is Harry’s mic.” ☺️ I never miss these videos or those of Harry’s farm. Thank you.
Harry, you know that being RUclipsr and a digital influencer is a job of enormous responsibility. It will suffice to think that there are people who live alone, without anyone and the only refuge they have to feel accompanied are social networks, and in particular, RUclips and its favorite channels with which it establishes an emotional relationship. You fulfill this role well, in this task. You do not see unbalanced attitudes, on the contrary, you project yourself by a properly seasoned example.
The only time you’ll see a Bentayga taken off road. Well done review, Harry.
Surely the rich kids will take it 4 wheelin. Cuz they are like trump they are ate up with IDGAF.
I enjoyed this video, thank you Harry.
I’m impressed that Bentley gave it to you to try off-road. So full marks to them for not being afraid for you to try it.
It was more capable on your farm than I was anticipating.
I prefer the new back end myself.
I really like the noise the V8 makes.
Benteyga, a car so expensive it gentrifies the grass and mud it rides on.
Right on, Issac!
Underrated comment!💯
*pinky up, adjusts monocle* Hmmm.Quite so, old chap!
First thing Harry complained about was the price and the cost of add ons.
A Harry’s garage video is one of the very few channels I genuinely don’t mind a 20 second advert in the video. Little things 😂
I love that given the farming take on this vid, Harry has put on his farmer jacket. Harry's farm indeed.
I was funnily surprised to hear Bentley describing their Bentayga as a "farm-car", and even more seeing you climb into it with dirty rubber boots. Very amusing, indeed. And what a hell of a "farm-car" this is. Beautiful.
Always enjoy a Harry’s review, one of the best unbiased review of any car. Just brings a smile to my face😄
The Bentley Bentayga V8 is the perfect Bitcoin farmer's car.
A bit of insulating tape on that light in the wireless charging pocket - works a treat.
Great review Harry.....funnily enough, this car at £180k gives me less heartburn than the Defender at £90k did.
You were right to point out the carpet wheel arches....I’ve got a spec’d out Q8 whose underpinnings are pretty similar to the Bentley, and the wheel arches are a nightmare in the way that they seem to capture everything a Cotswold road has to offer.
Perfect final summary ‘it’s a landowner’s car’ 👍

No doubt it is a beautifully engineered and finished car as you would expect from Bentley, but no it is not a farmers car. Great review Harry
These are super popular here in Bucharest, Romania where I live. Three on my street alone. . .
All paid for by the generous British tax payer .
Having driven the V12 I can attest to the level of quality, every detail has a wonderful machined feel to it, whereas the Range Rover autobiography felt too mainstream, beautiful nonetheless. It really is a lovely opulent environment to be in. My two girls suffer with travel sickness but loved the Bentley.
Harry: It is 5 years since I last drove a Bentayga
Me: It is 5 months since I last drove a Peugeot 106 diesel
Harry sounds like interference from mobile phone on mic.
Correct, what you are hearing is your mobile handset communicating with the base station, it tells the handset things like hand over to an adjacent cell or increase/decrease handset transmit rf power as you move around. If you turn your phone off or put it in flight mode these sounds should disappear. Great video BTW👍
Probably helped (or not) by the built in signal booster.
Indeed. If you set your phone to flight mode during filming it should go away. If that's not an option, try to keep it as far away from the mic, the infotainment unit and any speakers as possible.
Unless it is the car’s built in mobile used for data, feeding things like real time traffic, OTA and app functionality.
It also happens to my wireless speakers when my heat comes on - I have electric radiators and I believe they're controlled by a radio unit.
Topped out with options, at 200,000 pounds, it's not a farmer's car, "it's a land owner's car"! Perfect report, thank you!
Wonderful Harry, I really like the crown cut walnut wood, it suits the Green leather well, reminds me of the wood in the old Triumph Dolomite!
I would call this Hunter's Spec... just needs the shotgun cabinet in the boot
Hi Harry. Great channel as is your farming channel, thank you! FYI I’m a recording engineer and I know that the noise you keep picking up on your microphones is caused by a mobile phone nearby hunting for a signal. So turn your mobile phone to Airplane mode while filming (or keep it away from microphone/cables and recording device) and it won’t affect your audio!
With the thin margins of farming as you’ve explained them to us, I find it quite humorous that Bentley would push this on you as a 187,000 pound farming vehicle. 😂
It was slightly tongue in cheek, English humour but most people with UHNW money in the U.K. have farms as it comes with a lovely tax break.
Only 187,000 pounds? In Norway this car is priced twice as much!
Well, farmers in the Cotswolds like Harry who have a bit of land adjoining villages can make millions if they can get planning permission for housing.
Thin margins+High yield = lots of money
This amount of money you mentioned here can be made in couple of few months if you ask me how?

What a car. I used to go to Geneva motor show and since some while ago, I started to admire Bentleys. Even if I could I would not spend over £150,000 on this car. I know that styling is very much a personal thing but it just doesn't look great. I would much rather spend £90,000 on a pre-reg'd Range Rover sport SVR.

I actually had the pleasure of driving one of these for half a day after photographer friend of mine managed to convince our local Bentley dealership to lend him one free trial photo shoot. V8 white on black car. Sublime. Loved that gravelly noise when you step on it. Added to the lottery list for sure…
Looks only a mother would love, nice interior tho.
The interference noise you noted during the sound level testing is your phone interfering with your mic and/or recording device. You might be able to stop it, while still using the decibel app, by putting the phone in 'airplane' mode.
As we say in the US 🇺🇸 “a gentlemen farmer’s” ride. For property inspection and Foreman, employee consults.
Well done to Bentley for a traditional rev counter and speedometer built into the immaculate dash.
And the infotainment screen beautifully fitted into the luring dash instead of other manufacturers that slap an iPad-looking screen “onto” the dash as if it were glued there as an afterthought.
I do believe that the seatbelt in my car is made of *exactly* the same material as in the Bentayga!

I think the audio interference is your phone being ‘polled’. This usually happens when it switches between masts or goes in/out of service.
Thanks but my phone was in airplane mode throughout the review, just as I do in all of my videos. Odd thing is I've discovered the other time this has happened recently was when I was reviewing the Bentley Flying Spur, so I have to think it must be the tracker device Bentley fit in all of their press cars that's causing the interference..
@@harrysgarage You mentioned at 17:12 that the wireless phone charger enhances the telephone reception, maybe this enhancement causes the problem?
@@harrysgarage I am fairly sure that Quentin is correct that it is a mobile phone, so if its not yours, could it be Bentleys own on board data link?
