seen them 7 times as a youngster. great live. loved them as entertainment and always understood the machine they supposedly raged against, they worked for and took orders from 'Sony' . as a high energy music goes, second to none imo!

Ratm rules they stayed true to who they were I had never seen a band that mix metal music hip hop with elements of funk and punk and did it perfect there will never be another band like y'all thank u ratm love u guys
Stayed true to what they are? They played the Democrat national convention. They are the exact opposite of what they claim to be.They are the machine.
@@sacrificialsuicide8007 obviously you didn't watch the DVD or read about it they didn't perform for the Democratic national convention they performed outside protesting it just like MC5 did in 1968
@@sacrificialsuicide8007 and you probably think trump and the republicans are “anti machine”? Please lol
@charlesmiv3842 I have a feeling you can't have a conversation without bringing that guys name up.Deflect much?
@@sacrificialsuicide8007 Touched a nerve? I noticed how you didn't engage with what I said at all and immediately deflected.
Provoke & Inspire,,, remember inspire. RIGHT ON!
So much respect for Tom & Mom Morello! 🥰
Well done & extremely well said Tom Morello!!
"Because we live in turbulent time." Well, we need them back because times are FAR more turbulent than they were in the 90's. The 90's were like a golden age compared to the last 20 years.
yep !!!! this is a F3%$# world
You don't know what are you talking about!
His whole speech was literally saying we don't need them and shouldn't wait for them to do something, we can (and must) make the change we want in the world right now with what we have. And we already have more than enough to make that happen
Fulfilled a lifelong dream seeing them all live at MSG in August of 2022. It was incredible .
“There is a time when the operation of THE MACHINE becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can’t take part; you can’t even passively take part, and you’ve got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you’ve got to make it stop. And you’ve got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you’re free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!”
~Mario Savio 1964
Love ya RATM!! ❤🎸🎸🎸🎸🤘🏿🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘✌
I always loved these guys!
FYIWDWYTM - Anthem of a generation...Salute & Peace
One of my favorite quotes from back in the 1990s was "Rage Against The Machine... ...brought to you by Sony."
Current Net Worth (as of Nov 2023):
Tom Morello - $40Million
Zack de la Rocha- $25Million
Tim Commerford - $20Million
Brad Wilk - $20Million
LOL, yup, FAKE RESISTANCE, all from the inside.
Rage against the machine my all time favourite group there songs fire me up like no other band ever, and we’ll deserving of this hall of fame spot.
i feel yahhh man
That was the best dam speech I have ever heard in any event where a speech was given. Powerful!!! .
seriously, no notes either. That hit so hard
One of the best speeches in history!
Easy to criticize rage. Impossible to top them.
5:38 Zach's face is terrified and beyond "Anger is a gift" pissed off. His eyes say it as much as his voice. #freepeltier
✊🏿such a fucken great speech ✊🏿congratulations RATM
seen them 7 times as a youngster. great live. loved them as entertainment and always understood the machine they supposedly raged against, they worked for and took orders from 'Sony' . as a high energy music goes, second to none imo!
Nice…
I remember liking it when they stopped playing…😁
While they were getting inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, I ran into Zack de La Rocha in Washington DC at the March for Palestine..doing exactly what his music represents. Meeting him that day only solidified my love for that band and their message. RATM is like no other
Well it’s about time and such a revolutionary speech from Tom ✊🏼✊🏻✊🏿✊✊🏾✊🏽
That was awesome!!😎👍🏼
pretty good uplifting speech.. RATM rocks!
Suddendly I saw the Disney + logo and I was like "RATM on Disney, no way!"
Total respect for Rage. The fact that he acknowledges the influence of Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind and the british are not yet considered worthy of the Hall is puzzling tho. Back to RATM, watching Freedom in mtv, circa 1994 was amazing.
Cheers from Bogotá.
One of the greatest speeches I have heard. But at 56 years old myself and life long fan. I felt shorted by them not all being there. I understand their thoughts. But this should had been for us fans then. Selfish or not just how I feel. But that speech I hope this jumps starts our youth doubting themselves. Go for it!
Tom is almost 60 years old and look like he's 35 years old.
Your music makes me want to fight 🤣😆
❤ Rage Against The Machine ❤
Man... this gave me goosebumps
Rage against the machine is world wide and happening right now!
And being subverted by the Marxists
i grew up in the same town as tom although i have never met him. i did meet his mom at a show at the aragon ballroom chicago when she introduced the band. one of the best shows i have ever seen
BEST ROCK BAND EVER!!!🤘🥳
