Just spent a couple of days walking Lima. I highly recommend Miraflores, the Malecon Park, Lover’s Park. Pachacamac is a great look at pre-Columbrian cultures in Peru. Barranco is a district with fantastic walking areas, food, and drinks. I stayed in the old city near Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor) with colonial architecture and the Catedral. Thanks for sharing your trip. The video is well done! Congratulations!

That's a really cool view point to the cliffs you found in Barranco, it's the first time I've seen it, and I saw lots of traveler's videos of Lima. Congratulations! ❤
Thank you guys for covering the pyramid; so many other RUclipsrs kinda leave that out. I've been looking at Lima recently for a little working vacation, I may pull the trigger and book a flight next week and stay for a week.

@@KittiandJon Excellent. Contrary to the popular perception we Peruvians don’t eat marmalade sandwiches but while in Lima you can enjoy some of the best food in world. Thank you for your video. What month were you there and how was the weather. Leaving in a couple weeks for lima, cusco, etc and wanted an idea of temp and what most people wear. Thank you
Thanks for watching! We were in Lima in March and it was pretty nice, not too hot not too cold. Think I wore jeans/t-shirt combo most of the time. We stayed in Cusco through April and it does get pretty hot through the middle of the day but pretty cold at night. Enjoy your trip! 😊

Thanks for watching! 😊 we both speak a little Spanish. I studied it until I was 18 and Kitti had been doing it for about 3 years now. So we did use our Spanish quite a lot. In the city though you’d be fine without Spanish. We used it most when booking bus tickets and eating out. Google Translate is also a great tool though if you really need to understand someone 👍
I don't understand. How can you travel to a place for the first time and tell us what the best things to do are? Wouldn't you need to know what all the things are in order to evaluate what the best ones are?
Obviously what we choose to do is subjective and might not be what you would like to do. At the end of the day any ‘best places in’ list is going to have been created by someone so is always going to be subjective to some extent. We do plenty of research before we arrive anywhere so we have a good idea of all the top things to do in a place and then we just pick the ones that would interest us the most 😊
Haha okay 😅 like you can rent a bike 24 hours a day at any time you like. There’s a small fee for a daily pass. But you’re only allowed to do 30 minute rides without incurring an extra charge. If you return it to a rack within 30 minutes and then take another one out for another 30 mins etc. then it continues to be ‘free’ (you don’t have to pay anything else other than the daily charge). If you had the bike for like 2 hours or something then you’d have to pay extra. It is a bit of a weird system!
Haha we can confirm that neither of our dad's is Ethan Hawk! 😅 we just worked a lot, saved a lot and then decided to spend our savings on traveling instead of buying a house! 😅 we don't regret it!

Very good video, but terrible editing. It's like watching someone in a room full of strobe lights. Perhaps a bulk of your commentary should be done off camera?
Thank you? 😅 we try our best to be smooth during our talking scenes but it’s not always easy to get the right words out. Usually it’s better to cut out the ‘urms’ and ‘likes’ than leave them in but it does result in the cuts being a bit jumpy. Thanks for watching 👍
