I learned about it spawning bosses only yesterday, when I was on a garbage run being hard carried by Gnawed Leaf, Boil Baby, and My Shadow. After coming back from the bathroom, I was surprised to see Chub.
Actually, the Lamb is one of the easiest end game bosses you can face. On one of my streaks I accidentally went to the dark room after floor 2. I had dead cat, and after grinding to get to the boss room (I got very lucky with room layouts in the dark room itself. No double cage crap), I had 5 or 6 lives left, and so I had to beat the lamb with basically starting stats (I think I had a cancer trinket to help me a bit) without getting hit, and I did it in a few attempts! Now, mega satan is a completely different story
@@DjYale as one which did a lot of floor 1 sac room to the lamb and some of those also to mega satan, the hardest part of dark room are indeed the enemies between the rooms, the lamb is a joke tbh, i believe it's easier than it lives at base dmg
now imagine if this was added as a challenge to base game, you spawn into the It Lives boss room without any items and you win if you just kill the boss. edit: you might also start with like 10 bombs I guess, maybe even less (it is debatable)

Hush will probably be one of the worst bosses. Hush himself probably wont be too hard, his minions will be pain. The difference on if I beat hush or if I lose is if I have enough crowd clearing to deal with the minions. Delirium will probably be not too bad other than the HP because if you go straight to void he cant really transform into other bosses because you havent seen any other bosses.

It's kind of funny that this type of challenge of beating all the major story bosses with base starting Isaac stats was something I first decided to on my own terms before really anyone else decided to do it, this was back before Repentance was released by the way. I actually had planned to make a big full video of me doing every single major story boss, raw and uncut, with timestamps and all. But I haven't gotten around to getting back into it again as I've been busy with other stuff, mainly things related to the game. I did do some bosses, the Mom fight was no problem whatsoever, It Lives! took me over 200 painstaking deaths, and then I did Satan and just gave up after 300+ attempts after dying to him when he was almost defeated in his third phase. And then a bit after Repentance released, I did try out to see if Dogma was possible and it was entirely possible and honestly kind of fun, though the second phase mainly boils down to just dodging the beyblade back and forth and hoping and praying that the laser ball's RNG will be nice to you. If you want my predictions of how much I think each fight is possible, I would say that every fight is possible except for maybe Hush and Ultra Greed, mainly because of one thing, they can spawn a crapload of enemies. With Ultra Greed in particular, if you get a single salvo of key coins in the fight, it's just over. Greed Gapers will start pouring out and you don't have the damage nor the fire rate to take them all out before they inevitably swarm and kill you. So yeah that's all my rambling done, I might end up doing this challenge in the future. But if you end up completing every single boss beforehand then I won't have to, as honestly, I don't like the concept of just taking people's ideas for videos and challenges even if they weren't the one to first come up with something. Only time will tell though, and all I can say to you, as someone who has tried to do this before and gave up, is good luck and try to have fun.
Exactly. Mom spawns enemies. It lives spawns bosses. Hush will overwhelm you with flies and gapers while doing continuum and laser nadoes. Delirium is just unfair in general and telefrags you, not to mention sometimes it glitches out a boss. Mega Stan’s 4 sins wave is a bit unfair, but otherwise doable. The only 2 paths that don’t spawn as much enemies are Mother and Dogma/4 horseman/beast. Mother might sometimes spawn maggots, but they won’t overwhelm you. I have even seen someone do Mother with itemless J&E. Beast is also doable with base stats
Mom's Heart and It Lives were actually worse in the original Flash Version. Not harder just less fun, as they'd *primarily* just spawn enemies and do nothing else but hide between Waves. It lives could even spawn Larry Jr. and Duke of Flies before which I'm sure is less painful than Fistula/Teratoma.
Fun fact! Despite him refering to "It Lives" as "Her" multiple times, and obviously "Moms Heart" is female. "It Lives" is actually a fetal version of Isaac, meaning he is male

I feel like Mom and It Lives are one of the hardest bosses to do this on because of the adds. If you were to fight Lamb it would just be a longer Lamb fight. Mega Satan would suck ass for like 1 phase. Isaac and Blue Baby would be easy.
Hey, cool video! You've been the guy who actually went and made me do these challenges as well since i had them on my mind but never got to them. Your video was quite helpful to my run (mostly the clot strat on phase 3) and because of the clots, phase 3 is more like the easiest phase, also 30 hours of attempts in total? The 30 hour part was just a skill issue probably, plus just mastering the fight and learning everything in general since I don’t think anybody’s made a video like this one on the fight. I plan on doing the next one after my next video, but that all depends on how hard Satan ends up being. I tried grinding Isaac right after the it lives fight, but Isaac is much more of a challenge than I originally thought, since his little angels continue to spawn after they die, and are shockingly hard to dodge mixed with Isaac’s attacks. Ended up grinding that for a few weeks thinking if I got to phase three the rest of the fight would be a cake walk, but then on one run I got there finally and he killed me insantly. After more testing, the 3rd phase is also much harder than I originally anticipated, and will take a ton of patience and theory crafting as well. So yeah hopefully satans easier so I could get that video out at least, gonna try that pretty soon I think

Firstly - iirc, It Lives has around 950 hp. Delirium has 10000, and he can move around a lot. Secondly - even at base form, Delirium is very hard to dodge consistently. And considering the fact that you would have to do it for like 20-25 minutes - yeah, I doubt it's possible
My initial thought was "of course you can, just use pills to max out your tears rate and health then use a devil card for extra damage" But no, you're literally just using base Isaac. That's rough.
before even watching the vid, it is possible. Runs do depend on items but not fully, so if you think that you need to get x item to win the run then it's just your skill issue
How is delirium gonna work? Cuz if you dont kill another boss delirium just will not transform. He only turns into bosses you killed previously on that run.
