Lots of people saying 'clothing' will make it immediately more complicated.
Sure, a bit, but not necessarily so much. The point is, choosing your colour range wisely.
I did some "space bugs" this way, dozends and dozends of critters with carpace, flesh and bone/claws in different colours etc.
I primed them darkish grey, basecoated in a pale sand/white from the top(to retain some shadowing), as this was closest to their dominant flesh tone.
Then went on and did all the carpace in a gray/violet tone and then bone/claw in a light red on all.
    Finally I used a violett/reddish contrast-/wash over everything.
Similar some "desert scifi troopers" one khaki base, and even two different brown tones for leather (boots/belts) and canvas (backpacks, officers jacket, pouches) and a fleshtone to pick out hands and faces.
Just pick colours matching together and use a wash-/contrast-/speedpaint that blends it together, and a drybrush/rub to highlight.
Don't work 'per mini' work 'per colour' and use the lathes as a fabrication belt. Don't think, just go from left to right.
It's speedpainting to a tabletop standard, not a showcase army.
BTW you can mix your own 'wash/contrast/speedpaint' using acrylic medium and a regular paint.

I'm really impressed by speedpainting armies because I straight up cannot do it. Like when it comes to batch painting most I can do is 3 models on up to 40mm bases at a time and even then I'd prefer to paint each from start to end individually so I rarely do it at all. It's not a problem though since I can just play elite armies with less than 20 models in the army.

75 models unpainted until the literal last day? You're a madman!
And then you actually paint them all in that last day? Even more of a madman!
Of course you had the advantage of painting these goblins, it'd be less fast for other kinds of armies, but it's still an excellent alternative if all you want is decent tabletop level as fast as possible, nice!

Now I can't use techniques on a lot of the models I'm painting (armored knights and space marines) as these techniques (maybe I'm wrong) are mostly for biological models (flesh and such, not long flat panels/armor) but it is still crazy fast!
75 models in ~2 hours (considering I don't have to film myself and such) is 1.6 minutes per model... WHAT!?!
Definitely looking forward to applying some of these techniques to my Death Korps of Krieg (I have too much of a back log at this point, specifically my 30 death riders and another something like 80 infantry models? I only use infantry for my DKoK army, no mech)
