I mean we all know how great Magnus is. But Dubov is so underrated. If he even becomes the World champion himself, I wouldn't be surprised lol. He's a phenomenon.
Daniil Dubov is Going to make into the top phenomenal players who ever lived He's just astounding I'm eagerly waiting for him to become the world champion 🏆
Everyone: "Dubov blundered that knight and managed to win" Dubov : "Hmmm... If I sac the knight AND a pawn, I can fool Carlsen into a false sense of supremacy, open up the C file with a double attack and go on a forced king hunt that ends in Carlsen giving me back that knight and perhaps mate. Hell, we live once..." *Horse to C5* Next level stuff IMO.
Did we watch the same game? Carlsen was completely winning, he lost due to his own blunder. Dubov is a great player but at least watch before commenting.
No offense, but it sounds like you weren't paying attention to the games themselves - here Dubov hung a piece and won because magnus missed a mate in time pressure. Compare it to Carlsen's wins where he slowly outplays his opponents and never lets go of his advantage. And ok, it was a rapid game, but I wouldn't call such a back and forth game "crushing".
I say this because if you watch Mikhail tals games he confuses opponents and they blunder and this is exactly what happened. Yes he blundered a piece but he got the initiative instead and that is in the style of Mikhail tal
That was a beautiful blunder. The thumbnail position really set the pace after this, as Dubov was able to take advantage of the position of Carlsen's King and Rook. Carlsen was unable to develop his pieces in time to use his 1 up advantage. !@#$%$#!! is definitely what Magnus was saying to himself.
playing aggressively for y is how Dubov plays chess in general. Regardless of the outcome, i think he is smart not to change. people who actively play forc draws find themselves dead lost much of the times, and i think that would especially be true for a player the likes of Dubov, whose strength is in his creativity and active play. if hes not playing to win and not creating problems for his opponent to have to worry about, his chances are probably not very good, especially when playing an amazing tactician like Magnus. He will just slowly wear you down and then grind you to dust when the endgame is reached. we all know that Carlsen can win endgames from losing positions. So if he is equal or better at that point, you're probably doomed.
After the match, Dubov literally said he doesn't care about winning the tournament.... What a BOSS. He just want to play the most creative, entertaining chess. I don't know if he will be a world champion in the future but he won people's heart already and became people's champion with his creative attacking style.....
I believe that Dubov was extremely assertive in this game and holds a never-give-up mind, somehow it helped him to accidentally played the "nasty engine line" right after his blunder and Magnus couldn't handle such madness.

What an amazing game to end 2020 :) Thank you for covering it in such a beautiful way. You did complete justice (as always) to the wonderful game.
I feel like my chess journey grew with your channel I started almost 4 years ago and as I improved my chess game your channel grew
Magnus: This is madness.
Dubov: This is Duuuuuubov...( Spraying )
Lmao
What a Duuuuubovious position...
Dubov: Blunders
*5 mins later*
Carlsen: Blunders
Dubov: thx, *wins*
Magnus: So who we playing today......
Agad: Hello everyone
At this point with 8 Dubov videos in the last 4 days, I thought agadmator at the end would say “ hope you enjoyed the game. See you in the next video continuing the coverage of the DUBOV saga and whatever happens in the chess world. Thank you and have an excellent rest of your day “
I mean we all know how great Magnus is.
I kept refreshing my youtube waiting for agad to drop this video 😂 i am that excited!?
Can you send the link to the video of them playing live?
Everyone: "Dubov blundered that knight and managed to win"
Dubov : "Hmmm... If I sac the knight AND a pawn, I can fool Carlsen into a false sense of supremacy, open up the C file with a double attack and go on a forced king hunt that ends in Carlsen giving me back that knight and perhaps mate. Hell, we live once..." *Horse to C5*
Next level stuff IMO.
lol
Nevjerojatan match. Btw. pratim te već par godina i tek sam prije par dana shvatio da si iz HR. Radiš odlične analize i samo tako nastavi i dalje!
Dubov is my new hero. I’m going to look and find more of his games. Happy new year Antonio.
Holly crap. Dubov absolutely crushed Carlsen. He really is the modern Tal!
Did we watch the same game? Carlsen was completely winning, he lost due to his own blunder.
Dubov is a great player but at least watch before commenting.
@@leadnitrate2194 bruh
@@leadnitrate2194 Yeah, Magnus not playing well is a treat to his opponents.
Thank you Agadmator, for a week's worth of nightmares from that thumbnail
imagine Dubov vs Ivanchuk, a chess match of pure madness
Dubov's checkmate in this game was the first time I saw the winning move in one of your videos, I'm a mere casual to chess, but it made me happy
Agadmater: “On that whole b3 action Idea thingie“
I love this channel so much
No way. The last one was so incredible.
playing aggressively for y is how Dubov plays chess in general.
Respect, Dignity and Honor are the reasons why this channel is the best Chess Channel
Wow! Fantastic match. Thanks so much for the great analysis.
4:53 “... there’s a triple attack here... ”
White bishop: “and what am I doing, Mr Agadmator?” 😊
After the match, Dubov literally said he doesn't care about winning the tournament.... What a BOSS. He just want to play the most creative, entertaining chess. I don't know if he will be a world champion in the future but he won people's heart already and became people's champion with his creative attacking style.....
Dubov’s name in the title is clickbait enough for me
I believe that Dubov was extremely assertive in this game and holds a never-give-up mind, somehow it helped him to accidentally played the "nasty engine line" right after his blunder and Magnus couldn't handle such madness.
"b3 action idea thingy" is the greatest agadmator quote of all time
Dubov, the inspiration that people who blunders every game to continue playing for the best!
Dubov is becoming my favourite player recently.
Can you send the link to the video of them playing live?
"Kf1 is the new castle" bruh agadmator is getting funnier with each video
Spectacular title as it doesn't spoil the result - much like many of Agadmator's videos. Great content
Pure class, thanks for the comprehensive coverage.
8:18 best thing I’ve heard today 😂
4:53 there’s a triple attack here
Bishop: sad bishop noises
nice catch
@@Saenayil thanks
Dog goes "woof", cat goes "meow", but what does the Bishop say?
@@cinegraphics his prayers
Magnus: You just blundered your knight!
Dubov: Hold on brother I’m sacrificing my pieces
Thank you for your insight and presentation. Very enjoyable and informative.
Oh my!! Words cannot describe this game. Such artistry!!
My day is definitely better after seeing this, thank you!
