Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace) -----
In my opinion, Charles Berthoud knocked that out of the park, Scottie Lepage's bit was lovely and a creative change from the tortured sweeping, Stevie T. always impresses me with his melody and wit, Ola Englund brought some nice drama to it, and Marcin's acoustic closer was a breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing!
Scottie LePage’s guitar never leaves my mind. I come back and it’s still the most hypnotising guitar I have ever heard. Melodically perfect, he came up with the best phrases he could with the tone which took it to empyrean heights.
Every performance was stellar. But my biggest jaw-dropping moment was Hayden’s at 3:23. Straight-faced most of the way through, and just intensely technical. I just subbed to his channel because of his insane precision.
I swear the math rock guys always steal the show for me. Tim and Ichika did it in 2019 and Scottie, Manuel, Marcin did it here. Either way, a phenomenal job from everyone, like always. Also, Hayden Maringer, wtf.
Idk man, if it's called "biggest shred collab" I want to hear shredding and/or melody, not the things they usually play in their songs. Not disrespecting their style and talent, but it's just so out of place lmao
Happy to see Charles Berthoud getting the recognition he deserves. Nathan Navarro and Adam Neely should get calls next year, we need more bass players in here. ❤️
@@krissv3ctor512 He can totally shred though, he just chooses not to most of the time as it would be stylistically inappropriate for his own music - but there are clips of him playing other people's music where he reminds you that he loves Meshuggah as well as jazz
I like how Stevie threw"the riff" In there. That was good. And everyone else did fantastic. I noticed there was more time for each musician to show their stuff too. Good song and good playing to everyone!
Do they only know that one drum track though? I recognized him the second his part came up because I recognized that drum track that sounds like it was recorded underwater.
Absolutely loved some of the creative tunes they came up with, but can't agree that they all amazing Occasionally you have careless uncreative pretty much 'random' shredding, I'm not going to say who, there's always a bunch in each shred collab, and there's a bunch in this
I can appreciate the technical prowess that all of these solos showcase, but all too many good players (not just in this video) play quantity over quality. Quality has to mach quantity to make it work.
It's just sick how Scott Lepage makes it look like he is in slow motion when he's actually got a stupid amount of stuff going on. Throughout his segment he looks beyond relaxed and smooth like water. Good grief that's crazy! Much respect!
@@StarryxNight5 I know. It's freaking sick. I could watch him and the rest of the guys in Polyphia all day. All of them are so damn good at their instruments it's downright abnormal.
There's a name drop! Haven't heard anything from him since Heavy Metal Machine circa 1983. As a young drummer, I was floored by AH's playing as well as the rest of that incredible ensemble. It was one of the things that turned me on to Rush at an early age besides the obvious incredible drumming, Alex Lifeson like Alan Holdsworth had such a unique soloing style. I heard exactly what you were referring to in this shoot. Still amazes how many professional level musicians go unsigned or just choose to keep it as a personal pastime. This was Biblical!
@@SunedosaI disagree to your disagreement. It's the style, ofc he could do more then that, it's about the aesthetics of polyphia. There is no way you could compare Scotts Envision era to NLND or even now. They could do whatever they please in the shred collab, I didn't see anyone being stopped from doing their style.
@@justdannyp7 Of course they can do whatever they want, that doesn't mean it's automaticly good now does it ? I never liked Polyphia's newer "aesthetics" as you call it (you overachiever you !) . I liked them better when they were more rock, what they have become i don't care much for. Disagree all you want, that's what freedom of speech is all about.
As soon as I saw Davie, I was really hoping Charles was in it. He really is an amazing musician. You can tell he is has practiced tremendous amounts. His parts always deliver.
Tim's influence with the melodic break last year really carried over nicely with this year's . I really liked the ebbs and flows especially in Manuel and Scott's parts. "👍Very nice👍" *Borat voice
@@gopeshb seems to be a misunderstanding haha. The original comment meant the guy after the guy with the Kiesel. The names are on the bottom left. Hayden's is custom built but yes it appears Dan's is a Kiesel.
I dont know what Im more happy about: - the best sounding biggest shred collab ever - many people stealing theDoos camera angle - Englunds hair breezing in the wind - a kid playing the acoustic guitar like they invented the instrument
I'm shocked at just the sheer amount of legends there are in this. You got Davie, you got Berthoud, you got Michelangelo, you got Music is Win, and even Stevie T is here. Rabea Massad's descending scale at the end was so crazy, and leading into Oni Hasan and those bends. So good.
This is the first shred collab that truly felt like everyone was trying to out preform each other lol. Pretty fun to watch. Too bad this can't be a live concert.
Not the same and not necessarily a concert, but you might want to check out Zildjian's jam sessions. The one I watched was the one with Matthew Greiner on drums. Truly amazing performance by everyone.
This video showed the different personalities of every musician. Each with its own beauty. Their instrument defines them perfectly. You can really see their different styles. Beautifully chaotic.

Btw I think it very well end (some calm music)
The basists came out swinging and really went in another direction which was refreshing. That and Scottie Lepage stood out the most for me.

Cool shirt dude.
You knocked it out of the park dude
So you are the Jason Becker fan?

Scottie LePage’s guitar never leaves my mind. I come back and it’s still the most hypnotising guitar I have ever heard. Melodically perfect, he came up with the best phrases he could with the tone which took it to empyrean heights.
Love seeing Charles Berthoud getting the credit he deserves. Absolute GOAT
Charles Berthoud's melodic bass is just 🤤
Finally....ma man gets into the shred collab.!!!
I agree!!! As is the Accoutic outro🤌 but that's Jon Dretto Guitar Skin that gives me A boner🤤

Dang youre right... I dont hear enough AH influence in current guitarists but then again AH is inimitable
Well he did have Matt Garstka help...
Not really, but he's still a monster of a player.
