Getting Tim AND Tosan is out of this world. Getting Tim, Tosan, and Kiko is just god-tier level of impossible. Then you add all the rest who are mostly "just" youtubers but who are fricken legendary youtuber guitarists in their own rights... it shouldn't even be possible...

I have a Christmas tradition now, to watch all the Biggest Shred Collabs and see if there is a new one. Watched the latest the other day and no going back through the rest.
All these years later I still get a random urge to come back to this video every once in a while. Standout moments include Tim Henson’s part (obviously), olas whole solo is just immaculate note selection, and thedoos first lick to bend gives me goosebumps every time
Still jamming to this in 2024 it's my cruising music. Props to @JaredDines_ for these masterpieces and to all these talented musicians! They are all blessed and go down in history as greats to me
I'm here to say that the reason this is the best one even though 5 just dropped is that the parts made sense with the drums. Then drums kept this all feeling stable as one song Collab rather than spliced parts.

It's not just '15 minutes of shredding'. They create those insane things and then record them, taking multiple takes and then probably spending a good 2 hours at least editing it.
I was looking away from my screen for a moment and when the dooo his part started i immediately recognized him. He really has his own sound. No matter if he plays really fast or slow it always sounds so peaceful!

I'll always be a vivaldi fun because I love rock....then i heard Tim's and was blown away.. Though the more I watched, the more ola's came to the top...and then one day, i listened to it while chilling and would you know it...Thedooo's part became, and still is my best.

It's more to do with your pedalboard than guitar. I can make my cheap cord guitar sound exactly like this on a cheap line 6 hd600. But Trying to sound like fender, les Paul or Suhr on a cheap guitar is impossible.
