It's been a long time...since I've heard a band nail a live performance with these harmonies, multi-instrumentalists, energy, originality and on-key singing. Tip o' the hat, boys.
This is simply unbelievable! It is so crazy tight. FANTASTIC audio engineering and mixing first of all so big props to the engineer and to the folks at the station for hosting this. It's already a great song to start with and somehow the band manage to make it sound even better than on record. Everything is perfectly harmonized and orchestrated, every riff or fill or melody feeds of the other to create a fantastic whole. My favourite part starts around 3:14 with the trumpet, vibraslap, guitar melody, and drum fill lifting up to the crescendo. Just wow. Music at its best.
@@lucadifiore8680 hey is it really your dad? He’s an incredible musician, if you see this please tell your dad he’s fantastic on the trumpet, the band wouldn’t be the same without him. I played trumpet when I was a kid and hearing him play brings back great memories.
Such a great band. Certainly the best since music pretty much died in the 80s. I've noticed on this and other videos that the Gibson logo on the excellent Xan's Tennessean is blotted out. Are there some outstanding contractual issues between the late Chet Atkins, Gibson and Gretsch, I wonder?

its cool in all retrospect whats coming out nowadays, they dont fit the mold, but there unique sound can never be lost here, shameless put me here, that show highlights alot of talented groups for music on their show.
I think this guitarist probably had an underrated career, he's actually a really strong player but I don't think he ever gt his due in the media. ...and I don't think that's their bass player, might be wrong. peace evry1, Cake n' Bake:p
