You are the savior of lakhs of students and will always be in future.
we call it enhancement mode in D-MOSFET, bcoz as positive Vgs applied through gate , the width of n channel between source and drain increases due to the flow of electron from p type substritute into n type channel. Hence drain current also increased due to the width of n-channel, thus the drain current enhances so we called it enhancement mode.
Electronics cant be explained better than this, amazing explanation for all the topics
true 😍😍
As a matter of fact, I tend to learn much more and useful concepts from this channel much more than I do from my terrible university lectures. Thank You, Sir your explanations are super amazing.
Fun Fact:
I saw my IIT profs too watching NESO Academy once.
Thank U Neso Academy and the anonymous man behind this voice❤️
tqq soo much bcz of ur lectures i solve my all prblms regarding edc .
Shubhangi Wankhade hiii

you are our b tech. professor !!!!
*Best
Agree
I wish he completed the course too (Analog pura toh kardete)... :P
But no doubt, these videos are amazing.
@@aurkom isnt it completed ? what's left?
@@94D33M Try and match with your curriculum, I don't remember exactly but a few things are missing. Oscillators and other circuits and more.
You should make a presentation on CMOS....It will be very helpful,
please take a look over this matter.Thank you.
thnks you sir your videos are very helpful i will pray your subscriber should cross 10 million
Thank you sir for your amazing way of teaching. You are the BEST! God Bless.
thank you neso:)
and one feedback also please make video on op-amps :(
they are difficult
Ur lectures have been very helpful for exams sir.... thank you so much
Thankyou so much sir,for providing us these lectures
Best teacher.... explained so well
This is the best explanation in RUclips...
Best teacher!
Thankyou very much sir, do you have any written notes for revision, you are teaching way better than college lectures and helping students in their exams god bless you sir
thank u so much sir...i m grateful to u sir...thanks a lot
you should make a presentation on cmos....it will be very helpful
please take a look over this matter
yes cmos
How will say that pinch off will occur at Vgs=-6V. Can You clearly explain about pinch off in the depletion mode
Thanks sir ....i could learn easily from your lectures
Best explanation 👌
please provide lectures on op amp....thnx for ..all superb lectures...
amazing explaination thank u sir
thank you, well explained
Why Vgs0 is called enhancement mode? Help me out in this.
sir please do more vedios on signals and systems
great job
Seeing these Vide before one day exam you can Score well
Thank you
Thank you sir.
its basically same as enhancement mosfet, only diff is enhancement conducts for some vt thresold, here vgs=0 can also do the same
Sir Please do a video on Op Amp ...
So sweet u r sir.........
I'm very thankful for your lectures. Can you please explain how do we determine pinch off voltage ? Why is it equals to -6volts. This is at min 8:33
Thank you
I think that was chosen randomly or I may be completely wrong..
you are right
selected randomly dude, Vp is depend on which mosfet u r using, just for understand he took it
It is given basically from Datasheets
thanks a lot🤗🙄
Vgs should be equal to the threshold voltage for Id =0 not Vp
Thanks sir
ty sir we love u
Tnq....sir
Sir you mentioned that we cannot take vgs positive in jfet but sir in the book milliman's integrated electronics they have taken vgs positive in the graph...
It's not taken positive because it results in forward biasing, so, extremely large amount of current can flow through it, thus causing damage to the fet.
Depletion type MOSFET characteristic is similar to JFET .
yes
thanks a ton!
is there any video on p channel enhanced mode mosfet ?
Nice
How to access part one please.
Sir p channel depletion type MOSFET
Direction of current not understood sir!
can anybody tell what happen if vgs is open rather than vgs is 0 case?
no baising to gate, neither forward nor reverse. hence no conduction in any case.
positive gate-to-source voltage has “enhanced” the level of free carriers in the channel compared to that encountered with VGS = 0 V.For this reason the region of positive gate voltage on the drain or transfer characteristics is referred to as the enhancement region, with the region between cutoff and the saturation referred to as the depletion region as it depleted no. Of free electrons by recombination process.
