I have an exam on semiconductor devices tomorrow. After missing all classes throughout the semester, you are the only reason I am going to pass tomorrow. Thank you so much !!!!!
I have my exam tomorrow too
Did you pass?
@@94D33M Well I did. Got a B grade
Every semester someones gonna write this comment, like me now!
Sorry to be offtopic but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
This channel should get like a million of subs seriously this is freaking crystal clear goes right thru thick heads
That's right
now it became true
being student and teacher of electronic devices and ciruit and power electronics i really appreciate your efforts, even slow learns will get clear concept after this video
Neso Academy needs more views. This is Gold!
Thanks a lot NESO ACADEMY. Probably the best academy in the world.Continue the brilliant work.Your great work really helps us all.
Bro if you know, please tell which book sir follow?
@@jogendrakumar3413 S.Salivahanan Electronic Devices and Circuits is a good book to follow for Semiconductor physics.
Sorry about that but, diode is an active device, because they are semiconductors, and his junction needs a current to provide 0.7V, in fact, we can say that every semiconductor is an active device. After that, you did very well, like it.

THIS VIDEO WAS SO WORTH WATCHING !!
harshpal singh what i s the meaning of the uncovering of negative immobile ions
.can you plz explain
O-genki desuka?... Oreki Hotarou
Nice video.but if we give positive vgs to jfet what's happen
Aaliya Sameja
In this case as the substrate is a P type semiconductor. means there is more hole than electron as carrier but at the same time no free ions are there. means -ve charges and +ve charges are balanced(covered by each other).
now as the +ve charges accumulates over the plate they(+ve charge) starts attracting the -ve charge or say pulling the positive charge(i.e. holes) this makes uncovering of -ve immobile ion which was previously covered by the holes.
@@sarveshkumar-rk8dv thankyouu
Neso Academy is my go to youtube tutorial channel for Electronics. I love you guys
Crisp and concise, perfectly balanced. as all things should be.
pdha de bhai meet me aake
I have my semester exam tomorrow.. thanks for making this simplified explanation..
You sir are indeed a legend. You always cover the gaps that should be covered in lecture. Thank you
extremely clear illustrations and reasonings to understand MOSFET! Thanks a lot for all these!!
Even the minute details matter in your videos...Amazing.
I attended some classes in my college and ik I will fail for sure. But after binge watching your videos I think I will pass. Thank you so much . Please keep up the good work
All diploma students watching the lecture for you mid and sem examinations hit a like ❤️❤️❤️
one of the best video ever seen on MOSFET
..thank you
Who else is watching this a day before exams
you will not be a good engineer, you must watch it an hour before exams
👋
bro jo halath ho rahi thi yeah sir ne bacha lia
ALERT - ALERT: @ 13:59 you say "we change -n type to -p type, we invert -n type to -p type", instead you have to say "we change -p type to -n type, we invert -p type to -n type".
Thank u 💝
Even our faculties studies from here😂😂😂

Hello, I would like say that by watching your videos I've learnt actual electronics than in my whole engg. time. I would request you to make a video on Finfet, trigate and FD-SOI (construction, operation and limitations) so that it would help many of us and also since finfet is preferred over mosfet in these days.
i watched the whole video just watching ur writing skills with cursor.... too good man , and ofcourse nice video
He is using a "touch pad pen" And not writing with mouse xD
Brother I blocked my tuition teacher for your classes cause
I cannot understand his lessons carefully but
But luckily I give thanks to my Allah that I can now easily understand analog circuit analysis through your guide ❤️
what is meant by uncovering of negative immobile ions ...sir plz exolain further...time around 11:30
thanks a lot ,
Nesco Academy!!Can't thank you enough.
Great work neso academy. you know very well how to teach.
In my cllg electronics is divided into 5 subjects and u won't believe I am learning all the 5 subjects from neso acdmy may it is the one and only channel on utube though which I can easily understand the topic .
I wonder what will happen to me if it wasn't present 🙄but thnk god it is 🙂
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just thnx a lot sir 😁
neso academy must have very good engineers (based in all these videos I have watched)
Ur explaination is just awesome......beyond perfection 👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you for repeating your sentences :) honestly
It's also funny how you repeat the sentences and I can't help but think "Ok I got it proceed" lol Thank you for your content.
M very sure you are the best for electronics....on RUclips
You are such a great teacher.
What would we do without these videos
Thankuuuuuuu very much ..
Very good explination!..
JUHI RAO bahut hua beta ab apna number dalo
The structure is quite different than what we have studied in power electronics although working principal is same which creates confusion and required high degree of concentration...so i advice all EE students first study analog before touching Power electronics.
All the best for your tomorrows exam 🙌🙌
Nice explanation but there is one error (Vgs)voltage in p-substrate type Mosfet is negative. If we increase the negative voltage then substrate will be more positively charged which will attract electrons and creates a n- channel
wrong.
The drain is always --- relalative to the source in a ----FET?
a)positive,p-chanel b)positive, n channel c)negative, p channel d)negative n-chanel
which one is correct?
Diode, transistors,BJT, JFET , MOSFET,SCR are active device while capacitor, resistors and inductors are passive device.
Please upload videos of further course as well as in all subjects.
Presentation is very good sir u upload operating modes of mosfet classes plz
Can you explain difference between jfet n mosfet in terms of conductance
Good explanation of the construction of a mosfet
and inner conductance
45 minutes b4 my university xam
Helpfull indeed !!
Explanation seems good.
The explanation is really good. The ... explanation...is ... really..good.
Thank you sir
sir diode should be an active device because it can control the current flow?
You mentioned that electrons in the inversion layer are minority carriers of p-substrate. But some sources said that positive gate potential attracts electrons from n-type source and drain and they also will become part of inversion layer.
Could you please clarify on this.
Thanks
nice lectures sir.
Clear lecture.. Thankyou so much
Beautifully explained
plz post a lecture on CMOS
I fall in Love with your 😍 explain ation
Another great lecture: thanks!
I m sure that this channel gonna be lit in futurE XD
Hats off sir!....Great Salute!
I want to learn Power Electronics from your lectures ... Can you upload videos from all the topics of Power Electronics?...plzzzz sir
so nice and easily understandable
excellent!Thank you Neso Academy
Great man.God bless you sir
Active/Passive device's definition is ambiguous. Acc to this definition, Resistor seems to be an active device as it can control the flow of charge carriers in a circuit. But actually, a Resistor is a passive, bilateral component.
Sir resistor can control the flow of electrons right?? Then whether it is an active device??
😂😂😂😂
Resistor is a passive device because its not required external sources to control flow of electron but in active device its required external sources to control the flow of electron.
sir awesome lectures
Tomorrow is my exam lol 😂😂
Did you pass ?
Velli allu arjun modda gudu 😅
Tommorow mine is after 30 mins 😅😅
Thank you very much sir🥳🥳🥳🥳
Please one video on IGBT
Thanks a lot!! Sir, sir could u please upload the video regarding "Cmos as inverter"
Conventionally V(gs) should be pot. difference between source and gate, right?
But you used V(gs) here as pot. difference between gate and body. Can you make it clear?
I'm confused.
Watch the next video... it is explained clearly there. Its because the Source and Substrate are connected internally....so the potential difference between G,S and SS is effectively Zero.
IT SHOULD GET MORE VIEWS
You r great sir
Best video on MOSFET , I have ever seen. Thanks yo so much for such knowledge.......
Superb explanation sir
worth watching
Sir ,according to your definition of active device, resistor comes under active device sir.Resistor can control the flow of electrons
It's not control the electrons..
It's only opposes flow of electrons
Why PN junction diode is passive? It controls the electron flow based on its direction
sir why diode is passive
actually diode also allow current in one direction that means diode can also control flow of electrons
actually BJT is also back to back connection of two diodes
transformer can be used to step up or step down the voltage
Superb sir. Thank you.
Very well explained ⭐🙌🏻
Thank you so much 🙏🙏
Sir,it will be very helpful if you upload some lectures on power amplifier
please post videos on CMOS ,Op Amp
Excellent
Really appreciated.............Thanks alot Sir.. :)
sir formation of channel in e-mosfet appears confusing to me. could you please make it a bit clearer?
If the gate terminal is connected to positive and the body is connected to negative then the gate terminal should attract the negative electrons in p material....then why are you saying that it initially attracts the holes in the p substrate?
Exam in 2 hours. This is what I'm doing right now
How electrons are accumulating b/w source and drain when Vgs is low?
can I know which type of MOSFET is used in CMOS logic.....enhancement or depletion
useful and the best tutorial
Gr8ly explained thanks
How to select ambient temperature for MOSFET?
Could you please make a video on p-channel MOSFET Particularly about the biasing conditions
Very good explanation!
But I think there is missing Polysilicon layer.
why PN junction diode called as passive component? which is also made up in semiconductor material.. please clear my concept.
diode also have ability to processing and modifying electrical signal.
very well explained
