A reminder: Paul Sinha taped this entire series without knowing he was suffering from Parkinson's. It was watching his performance on this series that made him realize something was wrong. And it explains so much about what's to come. So much.
For the record I don't think it's his Parkinson's (which caused his shoulder problem) that is his downfall. It's his absolutely charming, complete and total lack of common sense.
Paul found out before the studio recordings he had Parkinson. He had hurt his shoulder before filming at the house and it wasn't healing and they found out it was Parkinson causing it to not heal properly. Paul also made it very clear it wasn't Parkinson's that made him fail most of the tasks that he was just that bad at the game. @@briggy4359 Bible says life begins at breath. Abortion protestors are blasphemers
@@thefrub It does literally say to give women who are suspected of cheating that if they have cheated will make them aborth the baby. It's pretty gruesome actually.
I have never commented on a RUclips video before but I thought I should just say that being from Canada, it is tough to find British programming and this is by far one of my favouite shows. It brings a lot of laughs from some of the best British personalities and comics out there! I have to say that James Acaster's season has been my favourite so far, but I look forward to all of the hilarious people that are brought onto this genius of a program! Thank you for posting them online! I'm so excited for. more laughs with my family and friends!
This is the best show in the world, I'm not kidding. Greg might be one of the reasons why.
I'm so happy that Taskmaster Series 8 is finally getting put up! The "Get close to Alex" task is what started me watching this show on RUclips! RUclips started recommending individual tasks, and "Get close to Alex" was incredibly memorable. I found it ridiculous, and I loved it. When I realized that there were full episodes on the official channel, I started to catch up for real. And now, we finally got to *the* episode!
I will, of course, continue watching, because this is still ridiculous and fun. But I live in the United States, so this RUclips channel is basically my only source for the show.
"NEVER EVER inhale perm lotion your time starts now." Lolllll
The railyard task - "your task starts when Alex ducks down for the first time, one minute from now." There was no requirement that they stand there on the first bridge until Alex ducked - they could have run for cover immediately.
YEEEEEEESSSS! Merry Christmas to us! We finally get Series 8!
My thoughts exactly!! I hope we also get Series 9 when they're finished uploading these. Such a great show!
I just came across this show yesterday for some unknown reason. And I must say, at first, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy it. But I am absolutely hooked! I truly wish the US had game shows where brains are used and it’s comical. Y’all got a new fan and subscriber! Thanks for this wonderful production!!!
I love the meta-comment of Greg saying "It's so unfair, the whole game." at the end of the first prize task for the series. lol

FINALLY! I binged 1-7 and was so sad when the others weren't uploaded yet.
but there's series 10 on this channel as well?
@@benzaiten933 Not on this channel they're not. They're in shit quality on a bootleg channel with 5k subs.
@@Zachafinackus Series 10 is on this channel but it's complete shit by comparison. The contestants are completely inept in a non-entertaining way. I was really excited to watch Johnny Vegas in that one too :(
@@Zachafinackus Series 10 is on this channel and just ended last week, that's why S8 started this week, I guess you're in the US and it's blocked there so that's why you don't see it.
@@classicbandgeek I liked Series 10 :|
I love the so innocent "I wouldn't put a baby in a postbox" lol
that was so perfectly said and edited into the montage

16:11 Alex: "And just like you, this one is creative, a little bit flirty, and requires a lot of assistance to do its job properly."
I can't stop laughing 😂
The bridge hide and seek game has been my favorite from any series! So fun!
Whenever I start a series, I’m excited about the people I recognize. When I finish an episode, I’m excited about how much I love the people I didn’t recognize.
He did say his hurt shoulder did slow him down for some of the physical tasks though.
That's untrue. He's said that he thought Parkinson's had no effect at all.
I was worried they'd stopped posting these forever. It's a Christmas miracle!
Joe Thomas + Paul’s pajamas = Arthur Dent.
That would be fucking LEGENDARY casting
40:44 the bit of donut that hits Paul while he’s sprawled on the floor is a great analogy for his entire series
2 of my favorite taskmaster moments. Ian losing his mind over a puppet. And Joe's mission Impossible dive at the Train yard.
Alex’s dry response when Lou asks what the GoPro is for is one my all time favourite TM moments.
The "Get Close to Alex" task is the most fun looking task I've seen on this show, one that I really want to play
my strategy you ask? When you hear the siren, just get tf down and don't move
This season has a whole bunch of my all time favourite tasks. Alex and Tim Key came up with some amazing ones.
Ah, yes..FINALLY! I fell in love with @Taskmaster watching the "hide-and-seek" task and started binge-watching all the series to finally get to it! What a journey.. thanks Taskmaster staff, for all the laughs!
I think Greg giving Paul, Lou and Sian 4 points for the puppets was just to watch Iain die a little on the inside before giving him the 5 points
