Hey hey! Great video just a heads up your mighty hoop is upside down, warning label should be at the top when its hooped... maybe you put the brackets on the wrong side (L) for left and (R) for right! Just dont want you to mess up your machine! I love Lalas designs too!
Yes I would love for you to do a tutorial on your Melco. Also why you chose a Melco over the Ricoma. I don’t have either so I’m trying decide which one is my next machine. Thanks
Can you do a video on how you began embroidering and why did you decide to purchase the Melco as opposed to other machines? Is the machine user friendly and did Melco send someone to your home to train you on the machine?
Other than the style of your font, which is cute by any chance?Did you have to purchase a special font to do the foam or is it just a font of any style
I tried to use the white foam and embroidered on a white sweatshirt with pink thread and I have a lot of the foam sticking out still. Do you have any tips for maybe a cleaner rip when pulling off the excess foam?

Will do!!
Curious Question, can this be done using any embroidery machine? I have HV Sapphire which is used for sewing and embroidery
I believe so. Just as long as your sewing space allows for you to use the craft foam and doesn’t scrape against the foam
May I ask where you got the mama design from?

Where you get the design from
Other than the style of your font, which is cute by any chance?Did you have to purchase a special font to do the foam or is it just a font of any style
It has to be a font for 3D foam. lalasembroiderydesigns.com/products/mama-3d-puff-embroidery-design
My understanding is 3D puff font can only be used on font that is digitized specifically for 3D puff.
Regular fonts generally have an underlay stitch if you use these fonts it will crush the foam look for a font that is digitized for puff
For your white sweatshirt, did you match the foam to the color of thread or are you just using the foam from HL?
I used the same brand of foam. It comes in black and white and I used white for my sweatshirt.
I tried to use the white foam and embroidered on a white sweatshirt with pink thread and I have a lot of the foam sticking out still. Do you have any tips for maybe a cleaner rip when pulling off the excess foam?
It’s kind of tricky! I used my cricut weeding tool to poke the foam that was sticking out into the thread . Also, a heat gun/ lighter helps.
Make sure to match your thread with a foam color. Then, use a heat gun to melt the foam.
Did you test the wash and dry?
Yes I have washed and dried in the dryer a couple of times. No issues so far
How many clicks did you raise your presser foot?
It’s completely raised
Hello. What size needle did you use?

Did you do a placement stitch before you put the foam down, and were there an additional stitching after you removed the foam. Thanks
