Punch-Out!! - Wii, 2008 - Игры
To answer a few questions I have seen in this comment section:
- Glass Joe only uses his taunt once in the first Round and we can't get three stars before he uses it without throwing over 10 punches
- Macho Man only uses his Clothesline Attack (which has a one hit knockout sweetspot) after he got knocked down twice and is close to getting knocked down a third time, so we can't exploit that.
@ believe the challenge stated had to be first round
Could you do title defense next?
Ello
@@Doge_0 huh?
What about title defense?
I love how glass joe just stands there for like 10 seconds straight as the game frantically tries to figure out “hey, why arent you beating his face inside out??”

That’s actually by design
Because of how weak glass joe is, he’s constantly on the defensive and won’t even attack you for the first 45 seconds

I appreciate the mutual bow for Hondo, it's the little things that make a good fight.

Neat to see how different this challenge operates. Don takes the most punches to take down while Super Macho Man takes the longest. Meanwhile Piston Hondo and Great Tiger are tied for least punches because they both are vulnerable to counters. We need a Title Defense variation of this challenge cause seeing how different the game gets is fascinating to watch.

Please let me know if you know about methods to lower the punch count and if you want to see a sequel video for the Title Defense fights.
For glass joe you really only need 3, get two stars, wait for him to step out, then release the star punch when he get back in.

Can you do one about super punch out. Please
I don't WANT to see a sequel! I NEED to see one... mainly cause of Soda Popinski! *has flashbacks of the practice fights* (I HAVE to get my revenge... like, BADLY...)
Technically you can win most fights with one punch if you time everyone out
I found it pretty funny when Unity ducked as Hondo was giving the bow at 4:30 and 5:13. Well played.
Macho Man was hype AF. Got it down to the last second.
You dont need 3 different comments alright just make 1 big one and then its more appealing
For Don Flamenco, I managed to KO him in 14 punches by getting 3 stars off the bat, doing the infinite 5 times, waiting for his triple hook attack, star punching for a kd, and then countering his uppercut and using the star when he gets up for a 14 punch KO.
The infinite would probably be like the 3 star on Glass Joe, he probably would avoid using it to keep the challenge fair
@@William_Millar no the reason he didn't get 3 stars on glass joe is it would take more punches

More punch-out content! Love the game and the series, so here’s hoping for more videos! Love your content too!
In Don's fight, I think you could have reduced the number of punches needed by saving the 3-star
Astute observation. I was able to ko him in 14 punches by getting 3 stars, doing the infinite 5 times, waiting for his triple hook and using the star to kd, and then when he got up I just countered and used the star for an instant ko.
I love it the raining champion only takes 6 hits while Don flaminko takes 22😂
4:30 my guy took a bow with Hondo, respect.
Hondo: *bows*
Little Mac: *bows*
[Everybody liked that]
This is actually a more realistic amount of blows exchanged. Nothing surprised me more when seeing real wrestling matches quite like how few hits are actually exchanged in a typical fight. All it takes is a few good shots and the opponent usually gets knocked down, granted it's not like people are throwing three jabs and TKOing anyone either.
i love when Piston do his "E" thing you crouch too
I love how Nintendo Unity still makes content about a game that is over 10 yrs old.Never change Nintendo Unity

@@tbone2416 haha thats a pretty funny idea ngl, but im not very good at german yet
Love how he also bows to Piston Hondo.
Out of the bunch, Don Flamenco is definitely the most annoying to defeat with just a few punches. Ironic considering that he can be easily cheesed with an infinite normally. Though, that means Super Macho Man is actually the toughest opponent to defeat in speedruns
Theoretically, you could punch everyone once, dodge every other punch, and win by decision… but I prefer mowing people down with KOs XD
Not title defense king hippo, because 1 punch won’t deal damage to him thanks to his man hole cover
Except maybe Don flamenco Since he always wins by desicion

I really hope this surge in punch out love inspires nintendo to port it or even make another one
It took me a moment to figure it out what you were doing, but you bowing back to Hondo is adorable.
Dude. That timer for the Macho Man fight was TIGHT.
It's possible to beat everyone with a single punch, but you gotta learn how to dodge every attack perfectly and that hit has to be on the final round. For regenerating characters like Soda Pop, you need to time it near the end so they don't heal. Only character immune to the 1 hit strat is King Hippo Title Defense because you can't hurt him until you break his armor
This Video is about KOs specifically. The description notes the win by Decision strat.
It specifically says winning by KO or TKO in round 1
OMG I have wanted more punch out content for ever thank you!

Almost 9 punches per opponent. Excellent playthrough. Now do it on "Title Defense" run.
Fun fact: if you 3 star punch Glass Joe after the “Vive La France” move it’s an instant KO
Yeah, but to get 3 stars out of that by the time he does his taunt in the first round, you need to do 15 or so extra strikes
Sandman: Afraid?
Mac: Nah, I'm good.
My favorite game! great vid!
5:42 when you get KO’D in three punches that’s when you know you are trash
That moment you realize Glass Joe takes more punches to beat than Mr. Sandman.
i like how you Duck whenever PistonHondo bows...such respectful fighting xD
4:30 , I loves how you bowed back at piston hondo, thing not many people had done.
So here's a cool fact that I didn't see in this video.
All of Bear Hugger's moves can be hit for a Star and be intercepted with a Star Punch for an instant Knockdown. Every attack and taunt can be hit for a Star, then can be used on the next action he takes to instantly drop him.
Of course, this doesn't work in Title Defense.
I'm pretty sure Don can be taken down in fewer punches, too. One punch to force an attack, counter, then infinite loop and knockdown with the Star. Counter his getup attack, then use that Star for the KO. I think I saw one that uses under 20.
5:14-5:18 That's some respect there
Kudos for responding to honda's bow with a bow too.
True man.
I like the cute little bows you do during the Piston Hondo fight
Pretty amazing how little mac can give king hippo two bumps on opposite sides of his head with one star punch
Imagine paying to see your favorite boxer, piston honda, fight a up-and-comer teenager from the bronx and he gets felled in 3 punches
There is a way to get less punches on Soda. It does involve getting hit however. During phase 1 you need to get hit once then get your star and knock him down.
Once he gets up let him hit you four times with his rage mode and knock you down. Upon getting up counter his first attack. Once you do he will step back and try to drink his soda. You need to let him but as soon as he comes back in you need to throw a gut punch getting you a second star along with punching him in the face and then throwing your star punch.
When he gets up again take another knockdown. When you get up counter his first punch again. He will then do a taunt. You need to throw your star punch. This will automatically knock him down and you will end up with a 9 punch tko. If you need a tutorial video I recommend looking at any contender speed run of the game.
4:30
I love how you bowed back there
I just realized that Little Mac keeps his eye on the real Great Tiger
Sandman: "Stand still"
Little Mac: "I've been doing that all the game"
Now we need this video but with the fighters title defense mode.
So cool I like it keep doing more like this
Cant we just appreciate how he beat SMM on the literal last second?
Now we need a “Most punches to win Punch Out” video
Just use normal punches on thier least sensible bodypart and stretch out the battle for as long as possible (most fighters are KO'd after 4 KD's in the entire battle)
Can't wait until the TD/DK part!

Would be pretty cool if there was a "That guy from Super Punch Out" mod to Punch Out Wii, and it changed the stuff
What would happen if their is a online mode and you can play as any character from punch out because if their is a feature like this punch out is better than smash. Though if they make a super punch out sequel i wasnt really a fan of the boxers from super punch out and also you need to beat the boxer in 1 round and in my opinion that will be a little hard to people who are new to punch out but il probably play it. If they make a game where we play as doc louis that would probably be better
