In boxing, a knockout (KO) is when a boxer stays down for a count to 10 from the referee, at which point the boxer loses the match to his opponent. If the boxer manages to get up before the count of 10, he can continue the fight until he gets knocked down (KO'd) again.

Ah yes, this entire video is the pure definition of "better scramble like an egg before you get folded like an omelet"
Bald Bull misses: "Carpets. Cobwebs."
Bald Bull before the match: "Mah carpet. Bad dormant."
When Doc Louis get's TKO'd he pretty much accepts defeat, then falls back in a dramatic way lol.
2:58 You can use a 1 star punch on him too when he head butts you and it has the same effect as a 3 star punch.
I like how it's implied you just kill Great Tiger.
5:32 lol where's my money 💸💰!? Didn't notice this game has so much flashing with punches though.
Lol the 50 punches KO just feels mean
like his head is so damaged that a doctor had to give him headgear to protect it and little mac still goes "nah ill focus solely on punching your face until you can't get up anymore"
If you time it right, you can pretty much counter anyone with a star punch during their special attack.
Aran Ryan on the ropes, Bald Bull’s charge, Contender Great Tiger’s lunging jab, and during a lot of taunts too is when many are most vulnerable.
Landing some of the star punches are tricky, but not impossible. When you successfully do it, it’s super sweet.
Landing them really has that "nice try" energy to them
All the ones listed do deliver extra pain to themselves because they deliver themselves to your Fist. Guess we must call them "Team Dumpling" to reference Mr. Dumpling.
I love how Great Tiger just goes super saiyan mid battle
I really have to admit: I beat this games countless times. But there are still some KOs I didnt have the knowlegde until now.
Oh god just seeing anyone fight doc Louis now gives me trauma of the corruption videos
"Now you've done it! You won't when Doc is angry. AAUUUGH"
Noooooooooooo-
Duck this one!

In boxing, a knockout (KO) is when a boxer stays down for a count to 10 from the referee, at which point the boxer loses the match to his opponent. If the boxer manages to get up before the count of 10, he can continue the fight until he gets knocked down (KO'd) again.
@Ljjones Knockdowns are when a boxer just hits the floor. A knockout is when they either stay on the floor until the count of 10, or if three knockdowns are sustained in one round, resulting in a TKO (Technical Knockout) because of safety reasons.
Little Mac hit them so hard he jumps ten seconds forward in time.
@@scarymeunster9095 TKOs were brought in because a long time ago, boxing just kept going until someone couldn't keep fighting, or gave up. It was common for boxing matches to last *dozens* of rounds because neither party wanted to concede, resulting in two men beating each other bloody until one passed out, or straight up died.
Thank god we put TKOs and a 3 round limit

@@CT-1118 Little Mac is so powerful that he doesn't even need a Stand to match King Crimson's power.
When Piston Hondo bows and looks up at you, he's turning a sign of respect into a taunt. The fact you can One-Shot him with a Star Punch there is something of an omen there, really.
Aran Ryan twitching like a dying bug is oddly unsettling. Especially with the subtle crunching
1:39 thats honestly just mean, hes bowing to you and you knock his teeth in
Looking at someone while bowing is more disrespectful than the respect of bowing, so technically, it's justified.
@@Capybara6749 Even more disrespectful to bow AFTER you start fighting.
He's feinting. if you mis time it, he will dodge and laugh at you then punch you for free. Unlike most other taunts where they do nothing.
@@Capybara6749Not before or after a fight, you always look your opponent while bowing before and after a fight
However, bowing *during* the fight itself is already disrespectful no matter what
Also, afterwards he dodges - and if you miss because of his dodge he laughs at you and takes a free punch
Why do I randomly feel bad for Sandman’s ko? It just feels like he’s given up on trying.
Sandman went to sleep.
Nah, it’s not that he stops trying. Lil Mac just hit him so hard that it knocked his brain into his skull, thus knocking him out. Simple boxing.
He used 100% and didn't squeeze out the extra 10%, unlike Mac
Fun fact: his rage in the third round third knock out is based on a similar mechanic against Mike Tyson in the original. Where Tyson will throw a flurry of difficult to dodge/counter attacks at you relentlessly without giving a break and then become permanently stunned. If you make it that far, you're guaranteed the win. Yeah, he will NEVER stop being dizzy after that.
7:51 Okay, i was not expecting that.
You forgot to add that YOU CAN NOT GET HIT for the Don Flamenco trick to work.
Yeah, Don seems to have an ego case where if you have full damage, he kind of gives up but if he hits you at least once, he goes all in.
This makes me really want another Punch Out game, it’d be perfect on the switch
Alternate title: let's see a youtuber bully most of the boxers with instant ko tricks
As someone who has never played this before, these are really interesting.
It's a LOT tougher than the videos make it look.... these guys practice this and memorize the timing. If you don't, you'll be whooped. I'm stuck at Contender Macho man... and I recall Bald Bull took MANY attempts. Let alone Title Defense, and forget those missions (especially the TD ones.... Sandman's is actually luck as you have to get knocked down 4 times and use the recover mechanic to get back into the fight and then win).
This could use a remake, it’s a great game lost to time that not too many people can play since they won’t go out of their way to buy a Wii.
Here in the Czech Republic, its quite litteraly impossible to buy one, you either have to search the web for like half a day for a used one, or hope that your bank can transfer Czech Crowns into Euros since there isnt a Czech Amazon.
you know a game's great when its remake needs a remake
emulate it
I literally bought a Wii just to play this game lol
Hehe the Wii being the most widely selling game console of all time, most people OWN a wii. the problem is NOW a days it's nearly impossible because Nintendo shut down the E-shop so unless you can find someone selling a physical copy, you're out of luck. Getting a wii though...isn't too hard. Plus if you still have a Wii U, you can play this too.
That said I agree this should be ported WITH Doc Louis's punch out as well, as THAT game is nearly impossible to play (it was a Club Nintendo reward, one of two Nintendo "rewards" that are now "lost to time" the other being 4 swords Anneversary edition on the 3DS which was a similar case and the only way to play 4 swords single player.
I love it how in the thumbnail, Doc is doing the Mr incredible "I'm not strong enough." Meme.
I remember the old Nintendo Mike Tysons punch out days. Game has come a long way.
Love when Aran smiles when he lost the battle. Edit: THANKS I NEVER GOT 56 LIKES.
Edit 2: OMG NOW 60 LIKES
I mean, coming from a guy who ROFLs when he gets punched in the face, that's not surprising.
Aran is a based masochist
I think it’s more a smile of crazy rather than of pleasure.
I personally love that when you counter the bull charge, bald bull is like “You can’t knock me down that easily” and then little Mac is like “Oh yeah, How about this!?” And then he hits bald bull with a three star punch and bald bull just f-ing dies.
This is awesome. Wish I would've known all these years ago. Will have to try these out someday on my old Wii.
you're lucky you managed to buy the game while you still could
i never could
You could also use an emulator
1:32 back then, you knock him out once and you get a KO immediately
Thee fact Doc Louis survives a three star punch is why he should be the best fighter

If this game has taught me anything about boxing, it’s that uppercuts give you the W almost every time.
Just a heads up; perfectly timing a block on Aran Ryan's headbutt is the reason he gets dizzy.
So we just gonna ignore the fact that while most everyone could be considered a human boxer with a gimmick, Great Tiger straight up just has actual magic powers?
Got to love Von Kaiser crying out “Mommy…” under his breath before Little Mac knocks him out. 🤣
You know it's quite cool ability to regain balance after being knocked down like Bald Bull
I like how much variety was given to Bald Bull in the rematch. Your old trick doesn't work, but you can hammer him down with consistent Triple Star Punches, get two Star Punch counters on his rush, or give him everything you got after a jab countering his rush. Nice to have a lot of variety on a tough opponent.
When you realize that this channel is slowly becoming a Punch Out channel

Poor Hondo. Just a gentlemen bowing down only to get freaking 3-Starred.
Well looking at somebody while bowing is disrespectful, so he’s being an asshole and so it makes sense for him to be 3-starred
