This might be one of the best Simply Ming episodes. The chemistry between them is incredible.
100%
They did I believe 3 of episodes together and they're all great. One they did with Chef Pepin's granddaughter.
Chef Pepin was aiding Chef Child’s 30 yrs ago. And now Chef Ming is aiding Chef Pepin. Enjoyable.
Jacque Pepin is like a collab cheat code. He can carry a show on his own and work seamlessly with other legends.
Awesome that Ming is continuing the tradition.
jacques pepin is the original GOAT! a true master, just learned 10 new tricks
Chef Ming, You are such a humble guy. It's so nice to watch you with the other greats.
this is simply incredible. Jacques really is the KING and Ming and him are so charming and fun together. Thanks for sharing this! Making the liver next week :D
Awesome, bravo, these two gentlemen chefs are a natural mashup! Certain to please the palette ❤️ anytime. I'd love more episodes myself.
I can’t believe how simple and delicious both dishes are! My grandmother loved cooking liver and making pate.
You won me over when you put the orange bitters into the martini at the start... great barcraft!
Just two amazing chefs enjoying cooking and each other's company. So refreshing from today's cutthroat, countdown reality competitions. ❤
MORE of these two! Merci!
The one and only, a living legend. God Bless ya Jacques!
Wow, if these guys don’t inspire future chefs then nothing will. 👏👏👏
how sweet. he's so cute. love his artwork, too. thanks for this one.
Adore the master JP. Never heard of Ming but clearly such an intelligent and charming man. The way he spoke to Jacques and the way he made a proper Martini... the man knows how to make a Martini - even if I prefer the reverse proportions :-)
Haha, he calls him dude then immediately apologizes for calling dude- sweethearts both!😊
I love them both.
I just happen to have all these ingredients at home. Hooray! Here’s to tonight’s dinner. Thank you to two of my favorite chefs .
Do let us know how it turned out.
The 2 Great Master Chefs
LOL "when you know youre going to lose, volunteer"
Legends. Both of y’all.
Wow, that was fantastic! And those dishes looked and sounded so scrumptious! It was obvious that the both of you enjoyed each other's company, and the cooking and the eating. And the drinking, haha! I'm gonna try cooking these myself.
Jacques Pepin is the best.
You could tell those glasses were the real deal. The clink was classic and if you served anything in them it would be amazing.
Keep up the great work. I love these two chefs. I remember watching you since the nineties as a teenager
Great job looks great cooking style
Jacques: "I drink anything at home". Teehee🗼🍸
wow what a difference in the hands of a master chef!
Ah, good ol' Ming "I went to Cornell" Tsai.
Awesome - word for the day
Legends turnin up! ❤✊
🎉 An amazing dual...
Legend
I love liver. One of my favourites is bacon wrapped chicken liver on the grill.
I love chicken liver and I know I'm in a minority so thank you for this wonderful episode of a relatively unpopular dish.
The king
Informative and entertaining episode, but I would skip the pre-cooking martini. My future in-laws plied me with my first glass of gin and tonic just prior to me trying to impress them by cooking a long-planned gourmet meal. The end result was a 3 course meal of well- carbonized burnt “food” that not even a cocktail or two could make edible. Jacques didn’t look too excited about it either. We’ll stick to wine, thanks. 😂
"Dude that is so good!"
I freakin' love chicken livers and so does my daughter. So cheap and nutritious. Don't let the secret get out! 🙂
Brilliant. Both of you! And fun!
