If you need the space to carry passengers or cargo, go with the Kia Stinger.
If you're like me, I purchased my Genesis G70 for me.
I have other vehicles if I need to carry passengers or cargo.
That's how you choose, by what your needs are.

Very beautiful car. Tremendous rear space.
For all 7 years I had it, I had passenger on the rear seat only 3-4 times for trip about 30 minutes.
I traded it in for G70 3.3TT AWD Elite+Prestige.

Got a GT2 in 2018 and I still love it. I've got to be on the road a lot and the Stinger makes the trips so easy and comfortable.

I loved test driving it so much I picked up the GTII AWD - No Regrets. I get a lot of compliments and curiosity about this car wherever I go. Super fun vehicle on short or long trips. Great job Kia and as always, awesome review Raiti

Just picked up a 2020 Stinger GT AWD yesterday. On my way home from the dealership, I couldn’t stop smiling. Bolster seats are amazing and hug your body, comfort is out this world! Car is a beast!!

Hey bud, LOVE the channel. Awesome content, consistently uploading new stuff, great format and just the right length to keep the viewer’s interest! Do you think you could do more 6 cyl performance/luxury cars? I know it is tough because everyone is switching to 4 cyl turbos🙄. That would be so appreciated as I LOVE 6’s and honesty am not a fan of 4’s. Heck, I have a 5 cyl which is like a black sheep in today’s market!

It can't be understated how far Kia has come. As a teen in the 90's I remember Sephias being on par with Geo Metros. Now I see things like the Stinger, the Telluride, and, being in the market for a CUV, being excited for the upcoming Seltos; good on you, Kia.

Yeah, they were total pieces of crap and now have really upper their game. Still below Honda and Toyota but a few more years of solid quality and assurance and reliability and they will be RIGHT there.

Great review. I own a 2018 Stinger GT AWD. Love it. It’s been a great car and I never get tired of driving it. Just a heads up, the 8 spd trans is NOT the ZF. It’s an in house Kia transmission. Oh, I added the Borla exhaust and car sounds amazing now.

I just got the 2021 Stinger GT in white with red interior (my dream combo). My god it looks so good in person. Such a joy to drive! Always wanted this kind of performance money wise. Totally in love with it.

I've had the ceramic silver / red interior GT2 since 2018 and have 22k miles on it.
Only issue was warped rotors are 10k but Kia replaced all rotors, calipers and pads and have not had any issues since.
It's my daily driver and after an exhaust update and intakes I think it's one of the best cars on the market for under $60k.
got a 2020 gt line....how much fighting with the dealer got the rotor work?

As long as you don't test drive the 3.3, you should be happy! Just kidding. The 2.0 is a good compromise and it is still a Stinger!

Luis G. De la garza yes, I recommend it. But I’d recommend you get a 2020 GT line with the Sun and sound package. It’s cheaper than a 2019 with the same package.

I am in the market for one of these pretty soon... I was wondering a couple of things - would you say this is kid/car seat friendly? Which version did you purchase, and if you dont mind me/us asking what did you pay for it (ball park if you dont to be exact?) I drive a camaro, and i need something for my baby boy coming in May within the next 6-12 months
Dwayne M Got mine end of 2019 close out. MSRP was 54,000 but got it for 44,000. Has anchors for car seats and child safety locks. Lots of rear seat room and huge cargo space comparable to full sized SUV.

I test drove once a Limited one. The Harmon Kardon system is worth the whole car. That stereo system makes every song sound good.

Here in germany we can configure or buy an active exhaust for the car from Kia, it sounds way better than the puny stock exhaust. Bought a used 2018 Stinger this week, insanely good car and a great upgrade after my 2011 V6 Mustang.
FYI, it is not a ZF 8speed transmission. It is an in-house transmission by Kia.

Kia Stinger uses Hyundai Powertec FR type 8-speed transmission which is also used for Genesis line vehicles including Coupe model.

I have had my Stinger GT for 2 years and other then having to replace the rotors a couple of times, it's a great ride.

My GF had the same problem with her front rotors, you guys need to keep in mind it’s a heavy car and requires a lot of braking power and heat to stop it. She likes to brake later than she should, and In doing so it really heats up the rotors, and since it’s an auto you have to keep the brake depressed at lights thus causing the hot softer metal to squeeze in and causing rotor warpage. Any car will have this issue due to driving style, maybe carbon ceramic rotors would hold up better but I have no experience with them.

You got me. I had an extended test drive of one last Friday. So impressed I intend ordering one this Monday.
I won't trade my Kia Sportage which I love, but the wife's Mazda 3 Gt 2.5 will be the one to go. She agrees and although just a passanger during the test drive, she is suitably impressed to the point of no argument.
I've owned everything from a genuine 1969 L88 Corvette to BMWs, Mercs etc. And thought that my motoring enthusiast days were over and nothing could ever ring my bell again. How wrong was I. What an impressive well-rounded motorcar.

I have two main issues with it, though.
1) That hideous reflector on the side rear.
2) That horrendous afterthought infotainment screen.
Despite those two caveats, I could totally see myself driving one of these eventually. Not bad, Kia!
I totally agree wit the reflector. Give the infotainment a chance it really isn't that bad when you are behind the wheel.
This 2020 GT seems like it has all of the same features of my 2019 GT2. What sets the GT2 apart from the GT for the 2020MY?

I'm in UK and have a Burnt Ember orange Stinger gt. It is definitely a head turner. I've had it for 6 months now and I just love driving it.

got the 2020 gt1. fun car, no matter what other people comment about the badge. did a 1am drive going home, barely cars around. the stinger did most of the driving with its adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. it was around 1.5 hr drive and i was not tired when i got home. also, with the dealers, my experience was better. and i got the price down to USD 40k. maybe if buyers are actually nice, and you got a nice sales person, you can get a good deal too.
Love my Forte GT because of this car and awaiting the 2021 Optima/K5 2.5L.

This video helped convince me to get A brand new 2020 Kia Stinger GT! I haggled a bit at the dealership and got a fantastic deal, love it!!
What does something like this go for?.....A good “haggled” price? I’ve never done any investigative work on Kias. Ive always seen them as “cheap” cars that came out in the 90s. But now they’ve caught my eyes
Worry Less Smile More the car is valued at 50-55$ for this trim level. I got the GT1 for $41,000 after 4 hours of haggling. Tbh though I don’t think it’s the norm as my dealership was rlly trying to move these.

I haven’t heard anything about a Stinger facelift. What source did you hear that from? This is only the third year in production, so I’d be shocked if it’s a major facelift.
@@stevewise1656 Korean medias already have spyshots of the nw Stinger. 3 yrs is about time for a facelift for Korean brands. Spyshot and sources show little exterior changes and mostly interior changes and the addition of new engine options of 2.5T and 3.5T with the improved 8 spd auto and LSD.

What I love is that this is my HOMETOWN!!! He near Westfield mall and driving between 580 and US-19 eventually goes down countryside Blvd lmao!!!! I love it!!!!
My wife is on her second kia. we love them. Only thing in her current kia was a blower fan and a resister fixed under warranty. 96,473 miles . People must get past the name and how they were the first few years in the USA just like Toyota and Honda and Nissan still is. Nice review. I drove one as a rental last year and loved it.

I bought a 2019 GT2 Ceramic Silver! Holy Crap my heart starts pumping faster each time I start to get in! This is an amazing machine! I’ve had a lot of cars over my last 34 years driving, but not one has ever made my heart rate go up like my Stinger! It’s a bad ass car!

And I said, I don't know why he's obsessed with snack foods, but it totally makes sense. If I say you can put 2 Twinkies in that cup holder, or this can hold 25 Jolly ranchers, you know exactly how big that space is. The one car I can't remember now which, had a little groove on the backseat cup holder. And you said put a twizzler there. I got it 6.5" long 3/8" wide. PERFECT!!!! Love it!
