  • The 2024 Hyundai Elantra sees a mid-cycle refresh this year and still keeps its 2.0L engine with modest power figures.
Its edgy exterior and practical interior are augmented by available technology and features and all three gasoline trims have an MSRP below $28,000 CDN. The US' sees all three trims below $27,065 USD.
The sedan market is declining but the ones that are still here are worth considering against a subcompact crossover. We had #Savethemanuals and now let's start with a #SaveTheSedans campaign.
With the 2024 Toyota Corolla, 2024 Mazda 3 and 2024 Honda Civc as the strongest competitors, the 2024 Hyundai Elantra is well positioned all-around with high value at a low price.

Would you take the Elantra over the Mazda 3, Corolla or Civic?

I would take a 10 year old Toyota Corolla over this NEW Hyundai.
I would take a 5 year old Mazda 3 over this NEW Hyundai.

Absolutely not. Even if I unequivocally liked the design, features, powertrain, etc, more than the alternatives (which I don't), I'm not buying a budget car just to pay sky high insurance rates because of a TikTok trend. Is this one actually secure? Probably, but that's not going to stop stupid teenagers from breaking into it anyway.

If you wouldn’t be so sensitive people over there in North America and you would give it an effort to learn how to drive a manual transmission, you wouldn’t have the cvt noise to deal with and the car will last longer.

Looks like a ford probe with half a hot hatch.

I had a 1996 probe and it was such a great car. Traded it in at 250k miles. I don’t see this one going that far

I can't with the creases Hyundai. Please stop. I know you think it appeals to young people but it just looks stupid. Also I'm not paying 30 grand for an econobox.

What a disastrous brand…shocking people still buying this Hyundai even with debt level in this country is skyrocketing because of government corruption.
Buy a Toyota Corolla or Mazda 3….. For goodness sake.
