      SPOILER AHEAD:
not from what Mystique said in Dark Phoenix. Apparently, only the "X-Women" get stuff done, and Professor X was a huge idiot from her prissy point of view. She got what she deserved, being she was a villain the entire franchise until ten minutes before she went all girl boss on Charles and got bodied by a Jean Grey queef.

In regards to the end credit scene, there was a scene much earlier in the film where Xavier is discussing with a class the ethics of possibly transferring a consciousness into a body that is technically brain dead, and he showed the class a live feed of Moira MacTaggert caring for such a patient in a remote location.
Those in the know are aware Charles Xavier was one of a pair of twin boys. His brother was born without a consciousness due to Xavier's mental powers in such close proximity in the womb literally burned his twin's brain away. The man in the hospital bed was Charles' brother (simply known as P. Xavier), kept alive through technological medical means.
When Jean (as the Dark Phoenix) killed Charles in her home, his consciousness inhabited his brother's body. In effect, Charles Xavier was reborn in another body identical in every way to his own.

They did Cyclops dirty in this film series. In the comic books, he is a fantastic field leader, a heavy-hitter combatant, and a true friend. His tactical talent is said to be on par with Captain America's.
The telepaths in the group had scanned his mind, and knew how special he was - Scott was Professor X's very first student. From the beginning, Charles trained him to be the leader he was born to be.
Jean Grey had the occasional flirty moments with Logan, but was head over heels in love with Scott. They had a very hot and well-storied love affair.
And despite their Alpha male friction, Cyclops and Wolverine had a deep respect for each other at the end of the day and had each other's back.
These movies castrated, cucked, and murdered the poor guy because of Wolverine's massive popularity. They surgically removed Scott's personality.
Also, in the comics, Scott has remote visor triggers in his gloves, so he doesn't have to do that stupid salute every time he takes a shot with his optic blasts.
I beg you, Kevin Feige, fix this crap and give us the real Cyclops when you reboot the X-Men in the MCU!

Fun facts Kelsey Grammer went to hi’s first audition in 20 years to audition for the role of beast the studio chose him over another actor you guys will be introduced to down the line.
Halle Berry originally wasn’t going to return to the role of storm for the third film in the series but after the studio told here they were making here the leader of the team she decided to come back. This film demonstrates storms powers better then the first two but still only scratches the surface, Halle berry had to have a bucket on set to be sick in to because doing so much wire work made here sick but said it was worth it if fans got to see more storm in the film.
All though most people’s favourite out of the first trilogy is x2, this film demonstrates some of the dynamics between the mutants and humans the best and shows what they were fighting fore.
A omega level mutant is a mutant that has a undefinable upper limit to there main powers specification
The term omega level mutant was first introduced in the uncanny x-men 208 in 1986. Gene Gray is a telepath and telekinetic but is only an omega level telepath, Storm, Bobby and Magneto are a few other omega level mutants you’ve been introduced to so far.

Okay Octobers, let me explain Charles in the hospital bed at the end. Earlier in the film, while Charles is teaching a class, they are discussing the ethics of a mutant born in a vegetative state. Moira is teleconferencing into the class. They don't really specify details, but the implication is that Charles was born as a twin, but his identical sibling was born brain dead. After Phoenix kills Charles, he tranfers his concoiusness to his identical, comatose twin.
These X-Men movies don't really tie into the MCU, but there is an Easter Egg in WandaVision you will only appreciate once you have seen X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is four X-MEN movies from this one. You only have X-MEN Origins: Wolverine, X-MEN: First Class, and The Wolverine.
After that, I would say you can switch back and fourth between X-Men and MCU movies. You might want to do Daredevil and the other Defenders related shows to mix in some variety. They do tie-in to a lot of Disney+ content now.

Bryan Singer did not return to msje X MEN 3, as he was tio busy working on SUPERMAN RETURNS, and Brett Ratner was called in. However, Ratner was accused of sexual harassment on the set of the movie and outed Elliott Page for being a lesbian. Ratner denied the claims, until he was fired from the WONDER WOMAN movie in 2016 after an assistant accused him of harassment as well, and was uncredited as executive producer.
Singer would later return to the X MEN franchise with DAYS OF FUTURE PAST in 2014, and APOCALYPSE in 2016.

Glad you enjoyed this. A lot of people were disappointed that the Phoenix story didn't follow the comics, but there just wasn't enough time to do that in only a trilogy. The X-Men movies paved the way for the Spider-Man and MCU movies, since we started to learn they could do them justice from a visual standpoint. The subsequent movies keep getting better (except for one; you'll see), and it's so great that Disney bought Fox and will be bringing the X-Men properties to the MCU.
As for more movies, keep going with the release order for all of them, X-Men, Spider-Man, Venom, Deadpool and MCU. And maybe an episode or two from the X-Men animated show, just for some references; there will be a cameo eventually from there. Marvel is doing a continuation of the animated series called X-Men '97, which might also tie in to What If...? There are easter eggs from all of them in the later MCU.

That move where Colossus throws Wolverine is called the "Fastball Special", and those things they're fighting in the Danger Room are called Sentinels: Government created mutant-hunting robots that are programmed to capture or kill mutants, and are powerful enough to do so.
The kid in the beginning cutting off his wings is Warren Worthington III, better known as Angel, and was one of the original X-men in the comics.

Charles said Jean is the only class 5 mutants. So it's obvious Magneto and others would be class 4 or less.
Yep, this time Jean is indeed dead.
And the ending theory which never gets revealed is that Charles had a brained dead twin brother and he transferred his consciousness into his brother before Jean decapitated him.

I have been a huge X-Men fan since I was a kid in the '70's. When this movie came out, I thought it could have been better. I have liked it better on repeat viewings. I think what this movie suffers from (in my personal opinion) is also why the MCU was so much more successful.
Even from the first movie, they have a fairly large cast and throw them at you all at once. We don't get much chance to get to know any of them except for the A-list characters. This movie was just an overload of too many characters all at once to really get to know them.
By the time the Avengers got together, we already had five full feature length movies to get to know all the players. Guardians of the Galaxy is in my opinion an example of the best way to introduce a diverse cast of characters all in a short space of time and get us to care about them all as individuals. X-Men never had that time, but I didn't really care since I had already known them all for the past 30+ years. But I knew it was daunting for some people (like my wife) who was intrigued by it but didn't have that background.

They assumed that a lot of people would have known that Xavier had a twin brother who was in a coma. It was assumed that they would of picked up at the end of the this movie but they didn’t. In the comics it was revealed that Xavier had a twin brother and he was in this comatose state or even brain dead or damaged. After these advents happened and Xavier was presumed dead he transferred his conciseness to the body of his brother. What the end credits scenes were supposed to do was to show that Magneto was still a mutant and that Xavier had a twin brother and he now houses Xavier in the brother’s body and introduces us to Moira and the British group called Excalibur. But the performance of the movie didn’t do well in theaters and Fox decided to do something different.

Hi there, love this channel. As an Xmen fan all my life from first reading the comics & watching the animated series and now the movies, I will try and answer some of your questions that I can remember. First one is when they were training in that simulation and Wolverine chopped off the head of something. The place in the mansion where this was taking place is called the danger room. The room is similar to a video game as far as it has different levels from novice to whatever. The giant head that flew was a giant robot designed to capture or kill mutants and they are called Sentinels. Also the most powerful mutants have the designation of Omega class. Last answer is at the end of the movie the doctor is a friend of Charles who is a leading expert in genetics and the study of mutants. That's all I got for now. Just know that for the reason Marvel had to sell the copyrights of X-men to Fox at the time makes it seem like they are in their own universe, but in the comics they interact with the Avengers & the Fantastic Four as well as have battled each other at times for various reasons. Now the MCU is planning to put them back in the same universe. The next few years will be an exciting time for Marvel fans. Last I would suggest to watch the movies in the order they came out, it will just make more sense. Keep up the great work on everything. Stay safe. ❤

That thing was a classic comic book Sentinel. A robotic machine that hunts mutants. The "simulation" was the X-Men danger room where they practice their abilities.
Mutants consider themselves Homo Superior. So Mystique calling a human Homo Sapien is basically calling him a mundane normal.
Henry "Hank" McCoy is the founding comic book X-Men known as Beast. The other original members were Iceman (Bobby Drake), Cyclops (Scott Summers), Angel (Warren Worthington III and Marvel Girl (Jean Grey). 😅
When Wolverine gets thrown bodily claws forward the comics call it the fastball special 😮. Usually Colossus is the thrower. He is the metallic mutant.
