    Kobe handled the interview at just 24 years old as amazingly as anyone at any age could. To not make any excuses, take the L, move on and work harder.

    My buddies were consoling me after this loss, it hurt as a fan. But when we heard Kobe say what he said “I’ll push myself to exhaustion “ I knew we would be back. Miss that guy. There will never be another like him.

    Ill never forget D Fish on the bench crying and Kobe with tears in his eyes giving that interview. I was 12 years old when this happened. I miss my childhood

    I watch this video everyday. I like winning, and like to see people's happiness but seeing failure like that inspires me.
    You can easily understand how frustrated he is, so angry, so emotional and pissed off. But, he still insists to workout and learn how to get better NOW, not morrow, not next week but NOW.
    Kobe's life is totally an inspiration. His success, his failings, they way he bounces back from them, trying again and again.
    He showed that you could master at anything if you really desire and want. Even his death, he taught me that life is short to get bogged down, as he said. He inspired me even though I do totally different things. His body could be gone but his mindset is here.
    Rest easy Kobe, love and miss you.

    I remember this game and I remember some of the other Lakers crying but somehow I don't remember Kobe crying. For some reason the Lakers took this lost harder than any other losses.

    I saw this live.
    If the Lakers get past San Antonio, they "4-peat".
    The way they lost game 5 (on a last second miss) and how badly they were dismantled in game 6 made the end of the 3 peat more painful.

I mean I’m sure u do think the spurs did something different cause you’re probably a spurs fan but Shaq not getting toe surgery immediately after 2002 and the lakers role players being injured most of this season, is pretty much the top reasons the spurs got a chip

      Ok, but Kobe wasn't really crying. There is no problem with Lebron crying at all, but typical Lebron fans have to tear down Kobe in order to prop up Lebron. Tearing up and sobbing are two different things, and Kobe was still cold blooded as hell in this clip. His voice didn't shake at all, and you can't see a tear on his cheeks.

      When did Kobe cry? I don't recall him crying at all in this clip. Is he emotional, sure, he should be. The Spurs had just ended a 3-peat Lakers run. Why wouldn't someone be emotional. Unlike Lebron, Kobe wasn't sobbing, and crying like a baby.

      Lol, you know nothing about Kobe if you think he was a ball hog. Maybe you should go back and actually watch the series, not highlight reels, but full games. Kobe passed the ball a lot, but it just so happens that the goal for the Lakers was to get the ball into Kobe's hands, especially late in the shot clock.
