My h pylori got detected after I got an infection with a sore throat and mucus cough with a little stomach pain, for which i took doxycycline. I Was better but after a few days got acid reflux. After speaking to a pharmacist a month later I had to push doctors to do the stool test to check pylori which was positive. The symptoms became so severe that i thought I’d die of breath shortness, I hope this helps someone. It’s best to keep testing especially as we dine out. And include natural antibiotics in your diet now and then. God bless whoever reads this health and protection from this illness.

PLEASE EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE RULES BEFORE THE TEST. NO OTC ANTACIDS, PPI's, ANTIBIOTICS, SUCRALFATE ETC FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE TEST.

MOST OFTEN ITS ACTUALLY SIBO THAT IS CAUSING THE SYMPTOMS. SIBO IS ITS OWN DIAGNOSIS. PYLORI ITSELF DOESNT CAUSE MANY SYMPTOMS.

Chest burning with h pylori used 5 days of antibiotics.... Even I am feeling bloating etc and stomach pain

C14 urea breadth test is much easier, needs lesser time, less time to be off from antibiotics before the test if any patient is taking and just one breadth is required. C13 is a Chinese cheap test they are selling which is more time consuming, less efficient and patient has to be off antibiotics for much longer time and suffer the pain.

It contains Urea... Which is broken into ammonia and CO2 by the H Pylori..
and the Co2 presence get detected by the breath Test

Yes it’s a symptom so is brain fog. Unless there’s other bacteria with the h pylori that weren’t tested for

Urea breath test . its mean a pill that give for patients that pill is a urea . if bacteria h pylori is present . urea converted Hydrogen peroxide and ammonia . if bacteria hp is not present urea never convert to hydrogen peroxide and ammonia
