It doesn't associate shame on me,3 years now and I'm still having it.
I want to get rid of it but the doctor said I have to do colonoscopy.
It is one of the most common conditions, I worked on ER for 3 months I cannot recall a day that patient didn’t come with anal fissure or have a Hx for it
it is so common regardless of your gender, age or sexual preference because the main reason for it is constipation
I had my first fissure as a child because I have severe constipation to the point I had to into the ER once with symptoms typical to appendicitis 😂
From my 16 yrs of experiences of suffering from annal fissure....suggestions to get rid from this painful condition....
1. Sufficient amount of fiber in food (fruits, oats, legumes, leafs, vegetables)
2. Adequet amount of water through out the day in small small quantity repeated times (warm water is preferable)
3. Atleast 8 hour sleep (major role to reduce pain & soften anal muscle)
4. Keep yourself stress free by doing some activity like music listening, book reading, gardening & so on..
5. Early morning yoga freehand exercise & breathing exercise is must included, it helps to provide blood flow to lower part of your body.
6. At Regular basis, take warm water bath (sneitz bath) of your rectum area by submerging in warm water in a bowl for few mins. & then apply 2% Lignocaine gelly over your rectum area.
It helps a lot from painful condition.
7. Take a walk after every meal, specialy after Dinner, digest well your food & then go to bed.
8. Food to be avoid : Meat, Tea, Coffee, very spicy hot & cold food.
Avoid smoking & alcohol consuming.
9. Daily basis must : Take Salad (veg & fruits) , Pro & Prebiotic foods, Light Soup, adequet water, Sleep, Exercise & Meditation.

@@rashmitr2875 yes, lignocaine gelly is easily available in any medication store. It relief pain only, not cure it.. Ok. U can use it before & after defecation.
Sleep is most major cause factor of this disease. So u hv to sleep early & atleast for 6-8 hrs. No others way. Stop using mobile ph before going to bed. It's distracts our sleep. Swtiched off it.
Take healthy meal as I describe here & do exercise.

I had recurring fissure and hemorrhoid with skin tag. Eating 3 cloves of garlic in vegetable broth every night and stopping sitting more than a few mins during bowel movements and strain control. Keigal helped too.

@@kennyhussein3435 no, my Dr didnt recommend surgery.. he said come back after 2 months and if the Fissur didn’t heal then he could do the Botox treatment, which I heard way better than surgery. he gave me creams to use for now

A simple trick: Use Aloe Vera gel directly from the plant on the fissure. Also use warm baths 1 or 2 times per day, especially after a stool pass.

I just found out that I have fissure too and I can’t poop for 2 days now because of the pain. I feel so bloated and uncomfortable. I got a prescriptions now but I still can’t poop 😭

I have one question and I have a very specific story.
I went for a long distance hike of 7 days while I had a thrombosed external haemorrhoid. It didn't bother me much while hiking but after coming back i started seeing pus coming out near the anus. My doctor said I had fissure.
Due to anal fissure, I have a sentinel skin tag and this skin tag is inflamed/infected. My doctor has prescribed me Fusidic anti bacterial cream and he suggests further to go with fissurectomy if situation doesn't improve. I only have problem with the infected skin tag. What do you think would be the best treatment option?

That can be a different problem....try not to put direct effort in toilet...a simple way to over come is ...try to pull your anal inward into body while pushing stool with stomach squeeze.....just make sure u never put effort by anal region while passing stool...and sit in warm water for 20 -25 min

Yeah I had pain while passing the stool. It was really painful during the first week of recovery but then it gradually disappeared. As days went by it started itching instead of pain so it becomes much easier to handle. I had a little bit problem with harder stool but I got a stool softener with my medications which helped so much!
