I'm glad to get a solid baseline for accuracy as I always thought that my guns were not that accurate, but it seems like we are both getting realistic results, not 100/100 shots on a cereal box at 90m.
I try to keep things real when I do these videos, like only showing fact's and not sharing my "own opinion" to much since it does not matter if the data dont back it.
my mtw had a problem with the outer barrel and the inner barrel. There was a little play and that caused the inner barrel to wobble. Fixed it with some tape. That made the accuracy better
I "think" that when you set up/change the hop Up you have to do at least 15 shots to let It do the work properly and after that you can take in account the results. Good video.
When doing tests like this, I would suggest utilizing a low variable power optic of at least 6x or use a glow shot reactive target so you can see hits at distance ;) you can really track bbs at distance with a 1-6x scope. Thx for the testing though!
nice video! all ml buckings working without problems in my stock unit with silent industries arm and a davinci barrle. thx for the work and greez from germany
@@Affenkopf I use the same as when I started, got two random ones, both got foam in them, they’re not very silent, just made to sound good to be on video. They’re shown in my RUclips shorts here : Can you silence a HPA? ruclips.net/user/shortsMLZHWM8myMc?feature=share hope it helps a little.
If I can recommend something if you used heavier BB's like I do use a flat hop or better yet this is my combo Prometheus flat purple bucking and nub, s-hop and using a pdi barrel on I'm getting incredible range and accuracy that grouping is mine at 150ft maximum range 300ft my normal range with best long range results is 250ft depending on the weather 265.
HPA and AEG is the same no difference in buckings.. Its just about what fits in the hop unit and barrel combo your using. I can think about it, but not sure i can add much to the subject.
Thanks for sharing this in-depth test! For sure it was interesting how results are without wind, but that's mostly not the case on the field anyway. Btw, what barrel was it you're using? And with what inner diameter? Thanks kaslab!
Hey hummer, I used the stock MTW barrel and the madbull barrel, but currently I use umbrella armory eu R-hopped barrel + their bucking in the m4w which is VERY nice
@@kaslab Ay, thanks =) Not familiar with the stock barrel unfortunately. But yes, I watched one of your vids about you getting into rhapsodies about the umbrella setup :3 Sounded very nice indeed. Thanks also for putting up a discount code for us! I'll be glad about when going shopping at UA.
I don’t have a 308 mtw.. If you’re buying a new then Keep it stock for a while and use heavy BBs.. that’s the best upgrade you can do :) but the setup you say is good for heavy BBs 👍🏻
Great testing, i have tried stock and phoenix unit i had ML silicone buckings of all patch shapes all jam, can't wait for maxx unit as my MTW seems very sensitive to changing hop rubbers, something to note about mtw in billet gen 2 hop unit they have rotational play in the hop unit to outer barrel a few degree's i shimmed mine with electric tape to stop hop unit rotating stop potential flyers
I can appreciate that, this type of video is very needed in airsoft as I tech my own airsoft toy guns also and always running into some sort of problem, so to see a vid on upgrading along with problems, different set up’s and solutions is great info, so thanks for the content 👊
Weird the stock hop didn't work with 70° ml bucking, i have a totally stock hop up with the said bucking and snipetor concave nub, it shoots like a dream the only thing i have is that the gun sometimes underhops or its because the fps is just less every now and then. Only got the mtw recently so still working out the little problems.
Thanks for the video, it was very informative. One question though because I don't think you mentioned it, what weight bb are you using for the tests please?
@@justairsoft nah mate, I used PDI barrels, I used like 10 different barrels, they're kinda the same, as long as the barrel window fit's and the polish is half decent we good.
@@kaslab Okay, but me and all my friends had different experiences with pdi barrels. I also tried stock, Madbull and Lambda barrels and from all of them the pdi barrel showed by far the best results. No matter if the MTW or any other airsoft replica.
You should show us a chrony test because I'm wonder how much variation you have which can explain unregulated shoots. I have two MTW with 2 differents setup one have only max 2fps of variation on the other 7-8 fps of variation. My best result is with 60° red madbull with phoenix hop up. I tried many maple leaf but never get good result
i have a 1st gen mtw and I have so many feeding issues, I even tried shaving down an advanced feed tube to fit and still having issues. Any fixes please?
doing crono with .20's is a very outdated method, and can result in a lot of cheating/juelcreep.. but Denmark is known for very high jules.. we're allowed 2.89J DMR and 3-5J snipers ;)

would be smart to do actually ima do it right now.. but for you I used both Maple leaf supermacroon 60 and 70* and the best nub from the maxx m4w hop unit for me was the square flat nub.
Think 70deg is too hard and never had good results with a super macaron i have tried the 70 degree macaron with the stock unit i did not have feeding problems but groupings where terrible
I dont agree, with my setup, and in a "inferno gen 2" the ML SM 70* fits better at 1.69J with .40's which I use.. It last longer, and shoot's longer, but 60* could work better for you who knows ; )

What about the Invictus Phoenix Hop? Does is shoot like the Maxx Up?

Hej Kaslab, very nice comparsion! I wonder whats your oppinion on the MTW Alpha Hopup from Silent Industries vs the M4W ?
I use m4w in all my mtws,
That's quite hot no mind you I live in Canada we are allowed up to 1.5 joules for cqb and up to 1.8 joules for dmr with 0.20s.

how good is the flat hop on this thing?
Amazing tbh.. 75 meters 8/10 hits its very good to me at low jules.
Why didnt you compare it to phoenix hop? I thought you have had best results with phoenix this far.
Phoenix and stock preforms the same on semi for me. Phoenix uses a little less air also.
I have feeding problems with the m4w Hop Up but i dont know what the Problem is😅
You use EPM1 mags?
Hey so 1.69 joules with 0.36 or 1.69 at 0.20 then using 0.36?
1,69J with .36's.. In denmark we only crono with the bb's you use in game.. So you wont get people who try to cheat the system.
Okay... I am getting one 100% this is fucking sick!

would this be the same with just AEG no HPA..?
