Jeep Compass | New project won't crank

Today we're taking a look at a 2012 Jeep Compass. This Jeep has no cranking issues when you turn the key and it's wearing a zip tie collar around the column. Pretty sure it's been through an auction this one should be a doozy. #JeepCompass #nocrank #starterinstall #willitrun

Thank God I found this video. Dealing with the same issues on a 2012 compass I'm working on for my sister. Started with a bad crankshaft sensor, and someone ended up pulling out the camshaft sensor and jamming a crankshaft sensor in the hole. I had to switch them and replace the original bad crankshaft sensor now it won't crank at all. I pulled the relays out and one was broken off inside the box, got it out now Waiting for my local parts store to get one in tomorrow, then if that don't do it I'll pull the starter to test that. Thanks for watching these particular jeeps were manufactured by Fiat I think and the wiring is junk. Check your grounds they like to corrode and lose connection.
