U save my life, I had my 2016 compass junked for three weeks and this pandemic made everything impossible to get it service. My brother help me and we found that the gas pump was working yet not spark on the ignition coils. Your video was savior. We swapped the relay and on it was on the first try. In my case it was grim and dirt on the relays contacts. No sign of corrosion on the connections we tested all the relays and they all work, gave them a good clean.
Dude you absolutely saved me and my buddy we were camping in the most back @$$ place in pa and his jeep died what little cell service we had we found your video ended up making a jumper out of an old piece of Romex we found beaten down with a ratchet over a stump... got us home🤙

Eric O. I'll have to see what you come up with in PT 2. Again THANKS!! It must be a Jeep thing or a Belvidere, IL where this Jeep and my son's Jeep was made

Nothing worse than wind. I don’t think I have ever seen one of those relay boxes corrode like that here in Colorado. It’s normally just a tipm failure. Nice work Eric O.
Thanks for the video, this was my girlfriend's exact problem. Not sure how to fix it yet but at least we aren't towing the thing. Simple pigtail jumper and it cranks right up
What I like to do in cases like this, just to get the vehicle inside, is I'll jumper power to one of the fuses that get fed power from the ASD relay. Such as Fuse32 as seen @2:12. They're nice and accessible and you'll bypass the relay all together.

Love your shows. learn a lot. just thought i would pass on a tip i learned. If you place a piece of foam lightly across you mic on your camera it will block your wind and people could hear you talking. Thanks for the great leaning lessons. Take care O family..
Hay welcome back sir eric 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪😜😜😜😜😜🤩🤩🤩😇😇😇😇
That radio is the cheapest double DIN touch screen available on amazon. Only $50. I bought one for a beater and wish I had just spent the $200 for a decent one.
AKKKKKKK! You said Sheeee it.
I would have said a lot worse and started looking for the BFH. Then hopefully before I found the BFH a coffee break would ensue. Otherwise real money gets spent.
Did I hear that right ????
The tripod is a little inconvient so we are going to give it THE HAND JOB here.... LMAO....spit my drink out on this...😭
Great Video Eric O
I think that's the first time I heard you curse, Eric! Lol

i find ALOT of compasses and patriots that have the corroded wires in the relay box its always my dead gove away when i have no power at the 2 15a fuses that come from the main relay. the worst part is they all share one power wire for the control side
can you do a vidio on a2018 jeep compass BCM replace
Ive ran into this problem once on a patriot and a caliber. Both times it was the starter control side tho causing no cranks
I have a 2014 compass with the same problem, after getting to the relays andseeing the same issue fixed and went to start, no crank. Any ideas?
You sir are what I call an expert can you plz provide your model number computer u use that has some identix docs on it ?
Which one is the cooling fan relay?
*Looks at the Jeep badge* "Well there's your problem lady!" JK, i actually like old school jeeps and have a dream of fixing up and restoring an old school wrangler 4cyl. But the new jeeps are garbage!
Did I see an arcing at 11:57?
Wish me luck...doing a power steering rack in my dads 03 Buick LeSabre without a lift today..seals decided to blow right in front of my house last night
Micheal Plummer at least it did it in the driveway and not out on the road. No tow bill or headache getting it off the road.
I don't think those were that bad to change, but I may be thinking wrong vehicle...............
I have a 2016 jeep compass Ltd sport and Mine doesn't crank ..I have to try it a few times then it finally turns on can someone help I took it to a shop and they charged me 170 just to tell me I need to start with getting a new key 😡
Informative video, but I'm technically impaired when it comes to new vehicles. I really just want to know where the fuse box is in a 2018 Jeep Compass Trailhawk. I can't find a fuse box in the cabin. I guess it's under the hood.
Great job again like always
