Hi
Kewl
I've known Terbin for a few years now and he is the most dedicated person I've ever spoken to. He also is super helpful when you need help with server stuff. All around great guy and super honest.

Honestly love historians who save these Minecraft bases. Their just way too cool and amazing to be destroyed and lost completely.
Tho I'm pretty sure there's still like 30% of total 2b2t bases that were completely lost in history which is kinda sad

Turbin, if you're somehow reading this, thank you for doing this project, I may not have been a 2b2t player ever but this is so fascinating to see this project come together as beautifully as it is on your server, I'll definitely come take a look whenever I can, and I look forward to see what the server would look like later on when more bases have been found
It definitely makes me less sad watching videos about massive works of art getting griefed. This man's doing gods work.

The more you know. I've toured the Archive many times in the last year and while I was aware HermeticLock and the Masons were involved with it I didn't know about Terbin. Props to him, the archive is an amazing place, and you can usually meet some legendary people there (or used to, now that the server is full after your video haha).
One thing that confuses me about this, is how positively community reacted towards this 2b2t archive server.
Last time, I think you said yourself that the bases that was destroyed, was meant to a relic (or something like that). Something you're suppose to wonder about, what could've been...
But I'm not against this, on the contrary! As long as it has the communities support, and their help, I'm all in for it!
And btw, I love the server creators moral code. Making sure the downloads won't cause more chaos and destruction
when i first started watching your content like a month or two ago i had this idea. glad to see it's already out there and thriving. i may check it out sometime
My god… that’s been the most words said before “the oldest anarchy server in minecraft”

Terbin is a very cool dude! I was very impressed to see how dedicated he was to the accuracy of what bases were like pre-grief when he repaired the crater where my house once was and accepted my repaired world download! My house on 2b2t now lives forever on the archive.
Thank you for showing this, i wondered soo much who was keeping the memories alive
One crazy thing about based in 2b2t is they can be greifed 3 times each.
1 initial grief into ruins.
A few years later the ruins become an important land mark and can be grief again.
Now in griefing a grief people will often over shoot and even if almost no blocks remain you can see someone used to be there so a third 'clean up' grief can then be done to blend the area into the surroundings.
Imagine the cycle endlessly repeats, eventually someone will just build something there, thinking nothing of it because it blends in so well, but like building over a graveyard it will come back to haunt them.
@@adrienanderson7439 I'm sure it's happened. I actually based out of a giant lavacast when I played. I hollowed out a network of rooms... I assume a base used to be under the mountain of cobble... But knowing 2b it might have just been a random lavacast. Hit the jack pot with it! It was directly above an un-griefed skeleton dungeon! I made a grinder and helped team trees during that whole shenanigan.

Lets just hope this archive will not leak IP addresses like the last one.

It is nothing short of amazing too see the passion of so many to be grasped by one. To be so enthalled by the levels of extreme that groups have gone through, and want to share that art and passion with all who care to witness it "first hand".
Finally, one of the most entertaining Minecrafters is back with yet another video - :)
You do a fantastic job at these videos and I appreciate your presence. I didn't think I would be so heavily interested in the history of a Minecraft server, but every server has its own personality, and a server with no rules and massive dedication is noteworthy. Well done
Terbin is such a legend and a gem of a human being. Thanks for making a video that is relevant to those of us who play the server regularly :)
Agreed, Terbin is amazing

“The oldest anarchy in Minecraft” will never get old
omg this is amazing.
And some server owners don't get me when I suggest publishing at least one one backup of their server's world before the wipe for people to be able to explore it after the wipes or even server potentially shutting down in distant future, and they tell some shit like "don't live in the past lol".
Some people just don't realize how important and amazing it is to preserve history, even in scales like just some local media, game servers and stuff.
What really speaks to the amount of love and care put into this by Terbin is that the last time there was an archive server like this, of any kind, what it did made Fit declare his disgust for the very _concept_ of servers like this, and now, here Fit is, actively promoting this one. As far as I'm concerned, Terbin is an official gigachad: every time I see a project of so much dedication and effort, it makes me think that perhaps, someday, I could finally realize one of the ideas kicking around in my head. But nothing stokes that feeling quite like running an archive so dedicated and detailed that post-Beardler Fit is actually on board with it.
I have been following all of the videos about 2b2t for quite some time now so It will be really cool to actually get to see all of the bases I heard so much about in game instead of just in a video
Hey Fit, great video!
You may already know that, but a few days after you released that "The 2b2t Times" video, Hausemaster priobanned and permamuted all Forceken accounts, also reseted the maps, apparently because of the Issue #28 content.
Forceken said the project is officially over for now, as always, waiting for your video on the subject with more details.
Oh dang, that's sad
What was issue #28 about?
@@TBSG707 About untold rules of 2b2t... Things that you may be punished for... They are kinda provocative, one of them is "Speaking unkindly about Hausemaster in chat"
@@Albanus35 ah so they criticised hausemaster. That makes sense now
You're the real MVP when it comes to its history FitMC, without you most people would never know about half of these bases and events that happened in 2b2t
That mans a legend. It really impressive that he was able to do this
FitMC: Eventually this quote-unquote "SANDWICH" would contain 131 different layers
Nikocado Avocado: Finally a worthy opponent
Do another video going over some of the areas. Maybe ones you find important or your favorite. Perhaps maybe you contributed to some warps?
The main way I "preserve" my buildings on servers is by taking a lot of screenshots of them from all different angles and locations, so I have enough footage of my work and even if it gets griefed, I can rebuild it block by block from the screenshots either in a different location on the server or on another server.
Before my friend showed me your videos, I had no real idea what 2b2t was supposed to be. You've been very informative and entertaining. Thank you Fit! You're the real MVP!
Thanks for making a video today! I got really excited when the notification came up!

This is just amazing 👏 another vidoe of *the oldest anarchy server* in minecraft your a legend
If the whole point of this server is inexorable griefing, how do people create and finish such vast, intricate builds? Surely they get found, being so large and monumental, and destroyed, taking sooo loong to create, before they are even finished?
