Hi
Kewl
I've known Terbin for a few years now and he is the most dedicated person I've ever spoken to. He also is super helpful when you need help with server stuff. All around great guy and super honest.

At this point, we're more excited to see a sliver of kindness on 2b2t than a major catastrophe

"a fraction of the bases" this guy made an entire marvel multiverse for tb2t that is 900gb and he still hasn't even scratched the surface.
the fact that you misspelt 2b2t as tb2t accurately portrays the size of the server

HermeticLock is the biggest chad. Offering to pay half of the server expences to preserve 2b2t history? Very cool. I'm so glad Terbin was able to do this.

Honestly love historians who save these Minecraft bases. Their just way too cool and amazing to be destroyed and lost completely.
Tho I'm pretty sure there's still like 30% of total 2b2t bases that were completely lost in history which is kinda sad
E
@@someoneunknown1928 Technically, aren't they Historians?
If you don't want bases to be destroyed then you're playing the wrong server
@@someoneunknown1928 true, they aren't at all
Turbin, if you're somehow reading this, thank you for doing this project, I may not have been a 2b2t player ever but this is so fascinating to see this project come together as beautifully as it is on your server, I'll definitely come take a look whenever I can, and I look forward to see what the server would look like later on when more bases have been found
It definitely makes me less sad watching videos about massive works of art getting griefed. This man's doing gods work.
@@orcishh true, it is such a great feeling that iconic monuments are preserved this way, I'm just glad I'll be able to see those buildings myself when I decide to go take a look myself at Turbin's server
I wish there was a contraption where you spawn in a glassbox over spawn and click on a button. it then load every screenshots of spawn through the years one by one. staying in every one for a couple minutes... like if you were traveling in time
Someone could probably make a 360° youtube video like that.
What about a time lapse
A timelapse would be awesome
@@orcishh it would be near impossible unless someone has recorded spawn in one spot every day for years
@@gamersgambit7517 Well obviously a perfect one wouldn't be possible. I'm sure there are more spawn backups than one or two per year as he has archived though. We could get a good generalization by just gradually switching saves while panning around.
The more you know. I've toured the Archive many times in the last year and while I was aware HermeticLock and the Masons were involved with it I didn't know about Terbin. Props to him, the archive is an amazing place, and you can usually meet some legendary people there (or used to, now that the server is full after your video haha).

@Don't read profile photo ok i wont
One thing that confuses me about this, is how positively community reacted towards this 2b2t archive server.
Last time, I think you said yourself that the bases that was destroyed, was meant to a relic (or something like that). Something you're suppose to wonder about, what could've been...
But I'm not against this, on the contrary! As long as it has the communities support, and their help, I'm all in for it!
And btw, I love the server creators moral code. Making sure the downloads won't cause more chaos and destruction
My god… that’s been the most words said before “the oldest anarchy server in minecraft”
when i first started watching your content like a month or two ago i had this idea. glad to see it's already out there and thriving. i may check it out sometime
Terbin is a true historian, preserving whatever he can just because it was on 2B2T, and exploring their stories. Props!
Fit: “The oldest anarchy server in minecraft”

Thank you for showing this, i wondered soo much who was keeping the memories alive
This man is a mad lad and send him my love. It was amazing to see all those builds even just casually going by in your video. Glad your helping him were you can. Even if it's just video evidence and world downloads you yourself have picked up.
6:35 love this scene. Could we maybe get some scenes similar to this one in the future?
Even though I cant join 2b2t, the lore and history is so fascinating
Why? 2B2T bedrock exists too you know
@@AboynamedJason_ actual 2b2t on bedrock or another anarchy server?
@@ThatNerdAlbert another one

@@ThatNerdAlbert I don't think from the creator of 2B2T java but it has lava casts at spawn, highways , bases and pretty much everything else. Made from infinity games network something
I joined the Archive a while back to check out some bases. Highly recommend, and I'm glad Fit made a video about it to spread it around to more people.
i love the slight turn and nod loop for every time i see your head, only time an ad made me laugh. (oh uh, love watching your videos about tb2t, pretty much the only person i know related to it)

Cringe comment
@@Snine19 Couldve just scrolled past but wasted time replying with a cringe reply. Uncalled for
@@Snine19 only based reply
One crazy thing about based in 2b2t is they can be greifed 3 times each.
1 initial grief into ruins.
A few years later the ruins become an important land mark and can be grief again.
Now in griefing a grief people will often over shoot and even if almost no blocks remain you can see someone used to be there so a third 'clean up' grief can then be done to blend the area into the surroundings.
Imagine the cycle endlessly repeats, eventually someone will just build something there, thinking nothing of it because it blends in so well, but like building over a graveyard it will come back to haunt them.
@@adrienanderson7439 I'm sure it's happened. I actually based out of a giant lavacast when I played. I hollowed out a network of rooms... I assume a base used to be under the mountain of cobble... But knowing 2b it might have just been a random lavacast. Hit the jack pot with it! It was directly above an un-griefed skeleton dungeon! I made a grinder and helped team trees during that whole shenanigan.
@@GoldKitsuneBrony For every desert, there must be a river
I have been following all of the videos about 2b2t for quite some time now so It will be really cool to actually get to see all of the bases I heard so much about in game instead of just in a video
I just wanted to say thank you for your videos I was quite ill but your videos kept me going-keep it up

Highway to the end of the world
yea try building that in 2b2t
@@newstartyt3700 how long do you think it would last? I’m thinking it would never be finished
@@2ManyGoats It could technically be finished if you have enough people although good luck with that. Griefers are rampant.
You do a fantastic job at these videos and I appreciate your presence. I didn't think I would be so heavily interested in the history of a Minecraft server, but every server has its own personality, and a server with no rules and massive dedication is noteworthy. Well done
It is nothing short of amazing too see the passion of so many to be grasped by one. To be so enthalled by the levels of extreme that groups have gone through, and want to share that art and passion with all who care to witness it "first hand".

Finally, one of the most entertaining Minecrafters is back with yet another video - :)
Thanks for making a video today! I got really excited when the notification came up!
Terbin, thank you for your hard work on this "museum", I also love internet history and know how hard it is to "keep it" together, especially when there's THAT much data.
I hope people will appreciate your work generations from now.
Hi Fit, Love your vid’s! Keep up the good work!
bloddy hell this guy gives me big legend vibes, he had meny probloms but the chads what are his friends came in and helped him the best way they could
So happy someone actually made such a place. Can't really get on 2b2t realistically so FitMC and now the Archive are my best means to see the history and wonder.
So sad Cloudsdale isn't in the archive. I have wanted to see it since that video came out.
Some of the builds on 2B2T are truly amazing. People can be so creative with what they do. It's awesome to see someone around to help preserve this stuff!
Do another video going over some of the areas. Maybe ones you find important or your favorite. Perhaps maybe you contributed to some warps?
Lets just hope this archive will not leak IP addresses like the last one.
Terbin is a very cool dude! I was very impressed to see how dedicated he was to the accuracy of what bases were like pre-grief when he repaired the crater where my house once was and accepted my repaired world download! My house on 2b2t now lives forever on the archive.
hats off Terbin! but with 2b2t's history I see a follow up video on this soon and probably not in a good way
This is so so so cool. I always love seeing people preserve history like this, archivists (Minecraft or otherwise) have one of the coolest jobs on earth. Thank you for the awesome video covering this!
If this guy was my History Teacher, I would listen to him all the time for all the interesting stories and soothing voice he have.
FitMC: Eventually this quote-unquote "SANDWICH" would contain 131 different layers

I havnt watched you in a while fit I just started boarding school and no phones allowed so so happy to see you posting
Terbin is such a legend and a gem of a human being. Thanks for making a video that is relevant to those of us who play the server regularly :)
Agreed, Terbin is amazing
Hey Fit, great video!
You may already know that, but a few days after you released that "The 2b2t Times" video, Hausemaster priobanned and permamuted all Forceken accounts, also reseted the maps, apparently because of the Issue #28 content.
Forceken said the project is officially over for now, as always, waiting for your video on the subject with more details.
Oh dang, that's sad
What was issue #28 about?
@@TBSG707 About untold rules of 2b2t... Things that you may be punished for... They are kinda provocative, one of them is "Speaking unkindly about Hausemaster in chat"
@@Albanus35 ah so they criticised hausemaster. That makes sense now
Amazing video man thanks for the content
omg this is amazing.
And some server owners don't get me when I suggest publishing at least one one backup of their server's world before the wipe for people to be able to explore it after the wipes or even server potentially shutting down in distant future, and they tell some shit like "don't live in the past lol".
Some people just don't realize how important and amazing it is to preserve history, even in scales like just some local media, game servers and stuff.
It’s a wonderful day when fit uploads
Fit, you're bringing me back with your BGM. Intelligent Qube has some of the best, especially this one.
This is interesting. Thanks for the vid Fit!
Neat analysis video! Thanks for uploading!
That mans a legend. It really impressive that he was able to do this
What really speaks to the amount of love and care put into this by Terbin is that the last time there was an archive server like this, of any kind, what it did made Fit declare his disgust for the very _concept_ of servers like this, and now, here Fit is, actively promoting this one. As far as I'm concerned, Terbin is an official gigachad: every time I see a project of so much dedication and effort, it makes me think that perhaps, someday, I could finally realize one of the ideas kicking around in my head. But nothing stokes that feeling quite like running an archive so dedicated and detailed that post-Beardler Fit is actually on board with it.
You're the real MVP when it comes to its history FitMC, without you most people would never know about half of these bases and events that happened in 2b2t
Fitmc your vids are very cool and nostalgic, I love ur vids
