There's another game on RPG maker, "Lisa Painful RPG" that had granted the wish of these kinds of people for easy mode, it's kind of hard to explain it in words but i do reccomend searching for it's playtrough, it's worth seeing it.

But if you'll indulge me for a second, what really gets me is that the timestamped bit in particular is about something that needs switching to the russian build of the game, which means that there's probably OTHER random exploits that we're not even aware of and that he DOES know, for a version of the game that (I imagine) he can't even play. It blows my mind, in a good way.
@@jmh8817he explained in one of the guides that Empty scrolls have two item lists; when you ask to give you something, it checks the first list, then if it doesn't find the thing you wrote it checks the second list. The problem is, the first list has Salmonsnake meat while the second one has the soul. So when you write Salmonsnake it finds the meat in the first list and gives it to you. While in Russian they are written a little different and you can actually specify that you want the SOUL of Salmonsnake. All of that was to say, if there are any sort of different exploits in the Russian version they would probably have to do with such lists of items (maybe the questions in Hall of New Gods have something). The code itself most likely isn't any different, so I doubt there are any sort of new exploits there.

There's another debug spot by the level 1 library. If you stand between the 2 book shelves on the top left, 1 tile away from the left wall then phase twice to the left and down once, then press enter you get moonless, an empty scroll, and a book of enlightenment. Not sure if it's in every layout but if you get an empty scroll early and learn phase you can basically just cheese the whole game with 99 empty scrolls + books of enlightenment
To be honest though, for me, the charm of fear and hunger is it's difficulty, and being able to learn and discover new things, if it's not difficult, it just wouldn't be the same
True! But let's be honest - almost everyone here already completed this game multiple times even before found this channel. And now we can just have some fun amd torture horrors of the dungeon just like they tortured us in good old times.
Agreed, it captures the charm of exploration, and survival in a hostile environment very well, that’s a tough thing to take the intense challenge from and keep its meaning and impact.

While the over-the-top nature of this game-break is quite hilarious honestly, the thing I do enjoy about this game is the fact that you don't even need to go this extreme for it. Even without cheat-spots, as far as clearing F&H mode in concerned, all you need to do to make the game significantly more doable is just know what to look for. I started my 3rd, "I am going to get a non-E ending and that's final" run and just the smallest details have turned the game from the struggle that was my 2nd playthrough into such a more comfortable romp (On Fear and Hunger difficulty anyway). Of all the wealth of knowledge I've attained in the time since, just by knowing about 4 simple things (Blood Portal, Penance Armour, Simple Transmutation and Pheromones), I feel so powerful. I remember my first time with the Skin Granny, it took me like 6 attempts and losing like half my party's arms. Now? She could barely even bring my tank to half-health and I actively forgot to put my fast stances on. Initially, I thought that I'd never even humour the idea of trying out Hard Mode/S-endings. Now? I dunno, that sounds like alot of fun. For that, I gotta give a shout of gratitude for your channel. Hell, even back in my 1st playthrough, I remember I had a weird bug, where I found a different way of solving the Tomb of the Gods puzzle and it thusly didn't accept the solution and your video explaining the puzzle saved me time, effort and a migrane at the time. Then when I thought I'd put the game down for a moment until I felt like giving another crack at the game, your channel sort of opened my eyes to it. I felt my phallic third eye erecting as I bore witness to all the cool little details and tricks on how to trivialize so many of the punishing systems of the game. You managed to turn Fear and Hunger from a game I respected, but felt conflicted about to a game I genuinely love and now can properly express my respect to. So just keep doing what you do, because you're doing Alll-Mer's work here.
Enki is obviously an "eezy mode" character. His downside is that he's somewhat restricted in weapon/armor choice, but literally his first skill allows him to form marriage of flesh with the first ghoul you see on your way, and marriage is unrestricted in armor/weapon choices, free of phobias (never ever get that phobia debuff again) and still has all Enki's spells. Basically his only downside becomes non-issue during the first 5 minutes of gameplay.
While on one side I understand what you say 1 S ending requires you to not become a marriage 2 in your scenario you already know a lot of stuff, I think at that point you are already out of the necessity of an easy mode

this was basically my first and only playthrough except not as broken , I used the first two debug spots near the entrance as enki to get some stuff and party members early then got the blue sin and eastern sword with the armour pieces of the eastern man , penance , gaunt and isayah and used the debug spot in the temple of torment along with getting legarde and making a marriage. for all of those wondering why I played it like this - it was mainly curiosity since the game is built upon knowledge and so I wondered how far knowledge could take me without playing the game and just watching frapp's vids which I used as learning material . Lastly its weird but I wonder why the first debug spot that gives a negative hunger value gives temporary dash and dash becomes unusable when learnt with a lot of skills from the unlimited empty scrolls
After losing ten s-ending attempts due to glitches softlocking me, it's time to say "fuck it" and use this video as a guide. Game isn't playing fair anymore and neither will I

To triple it's easy difficulty, you could also do D'arce's S ending requirements which would always automatically get you every characters S ending (Tried it Cahara and Enki and it worked weirdly enough)

Its really cool to see this proof of concept shown, knowing full well how far one could push the game with legit tools that they have at their disposal. Once again showing the “git gud” clause of this game, being the other side of the coin of the worst luck run you did. With both videos being valuable sources of knowledge depending on what someone intends to do in game. The debug spots certainly exceeded my expectations of what I thought was possible in my original comment. But perfectly executed what I said about: “breaking the game with everything at your disposal, in the same vein as what ymfah does in his soulsborne runs.”

If we play as cahara, and go to te temple of torment and activate the debug tile that give us the girl, empty scrolls, penance chest and also changes our party leader to the marriage, but after we use the very first debug tile that change the main character to cahara. Wouldnt it solve all the mess?, and allow us to have everybody with penance chest and all the other stuff?
@@frapollo94 i tested it with a different layout than yours following the tip of a comment of getting in between the 2 left bookshelves, colliding with the bottom one, 1 phase to left, 1 phase down, looked up and press enter and z and it actually did worked brother.

5:16 i do a similar thing i cut the right arm to not lose any limb then the other arm so i don't get the coin flip attack (or so it appears to do) then get rid of the legs, the "three" of them and at last the head (i could do this without worrying about losing health due to a ring i found that regened health)

No it doesn't, the tile doesn't "change" who your main character is, it creates the idea of another main character

5:16 i do a similar thing i cut the right arm to not lose any limb then the other arm so i don't get the coin flip attack (or so it appears to do) then get rid of the legs, the "three" of them and at last the head (i could do this without worrying about losing health due to a ring i found that regened health)
