I mean, to be fair - Murphy's Law is "Anything that can go wrong, will." So he just assumed anything that COULD, WOULD and just didn't include those options. Simple. (That was sarcasm to be clear, the level of game mastery in this run was absolutely ridiculous.)

Ragnvaldr's only useful quality being literally to be abused in battle is very fitting considering his tormented soul
I've always pretended that Leg sweep on doors is essentially just the character Kicking down the door. since 'sweeping' the door looks really weird in my head.
And a door going down to one good kick makes a whole lot more sense.

I now just remember how you are able to kick/"tackle" doors in Haunting Ground, though they only work a certain way since most doors only open 1 way, so you have to remember how some doors open up or else you are wasting time for the chasers to catch up with you.

I love hearing people complain about the fact "that you need luck to have a good run" I watched most of your videos, watch your live streams and all, I used to be bad at the game, now I just launched a run the other day, failed all my coin flips for half an hour, got no empty scrolls no good loot, still manages to kill crow mauler super early, secure salmonsnake soul and get Jesus loop with downright terrible rng. The road from there is pretty easy in Terror and Starvation and below..

The funniest thing about you and the meat pies is that it technically completely ties into the "knowledge is everything" theme you're trying to do by using the 100% guaranteed debug spots, thus technically they'd have been pretty much valid for this challenge.

Game should really have included the ability to break down wooden furniture for wood (maybe with hunger cost) and collect tattered cloth (can't stop bleeding) to have reliable torches in an immersive sim way.
That would have surely helped towards the immersive sim idea, but I think torches were added later on after the first version, so implementing all that would have required the idea to be present from the start!

The manic laugh at the end of the yellow king's battle was so sincere and the fear of being called cheater. It was awesome 🗿🗿🗿
[Despite Frapollo trying his best to avoid RNG he failed to do so. Not because he had done anything wrong in particular but because he forgot that enemies too are at the mercy of their own, programmed RNG chance attacks. Thus RNG got the best of him and led him to victory despite all his efforts.]
Fear & Hunger is one of the greatest games ever made. In my opinion it's right behind Baldur's Gate 3. Fear & Hunger's random loot makes it more interesting and more scary. Being low on health and/or hunger makes you panic, as you try to find something while you're hour or 2 since last save point.
F&H2 is also good in its own way, and improves on many things, but I still like the original a bit more. Both are great
It's not in my top 3 but it's still amazing, 2 is better though, that one might enter my top 10 when it's fully complete

It's technically considered a roguelike, and part of the challenge of the genre is getting stronger with meta knowledge. The more you play the game, the more tricks you learn that you can use to overcome any situation.
Part of it might also be people are just too used to easy games. F&H is tough, but fair. You just have to play it with the right expectations.

I dunno why, feels like I enjoy watching people play this rather than actually playing it myself. Especially when you do a challenge run, Frapollo. I DO want to go through a challenge run of my own though and it's a straight up Kill Everything with Rags or Cahara for Warrior or Enki for all Magic, using the information I've learned watching you and others, including someone doing Enki's S run. Of course, there'd be no limitations except "No Debug Spots", but I wouldn't reset if I accidentally triggered one, Miro be damned.
Granted, I don't even own this game, I'm just getting ahead of myself. Thanks for being a good inspiration, Frap.
On an unrelated note, I don't know why, but I REALLY love when you do your close up whispering or when you get all worked up and excited, calling the enemy, "You stupid idiot," on stream. It genuinely makes me chuckle.
I bought the game on steam because it was recommended and I put around 30 hours into it over a week, constantly dying and learning new stuff before I got to a boss and had to look up a guide, hence I found this god content creator. Ever since I’ve found frapp, I honestly enjoy watching his content more than playing the game, but I will say it’s a game that everyone should experience at least once

If you are starting everything is bad and unfair to you
But after first run you start noticing that the game has mechanics which make games like this easier
I think that those types of games are really fascinating, but most people just will insult them without any thought
So I hope that we will see more of this type of games in the future and that F&H will get patches soon, BOTH OF THEM
You should try getting into roguelikes. The turn based kind, not the spelunky kind. They have a similar knowledge loop, although theyre less effective at projecting oppressive atmospheres to fight through than darkest dungeon or fear and hunger.

Morally good as a judge or as a person? Judge means to kill all the characters lol. Darce was helping with war crimes, Rag is a cannibal, Cahara is a thief, Enki is literally a dark priest who killed his sister in a ritual.

Solution for that "blind run" idea is that only *you* are blind. You could have the stream show the gameplay as normal while you can't see it on your monitor. This isn't necessarily a request to do such a run, but I've seen this done with pokemon games and stuff, so it's definitely possible to be very entertaining.
Oh yeah that idea already crossed my mind!
This made me think of another crazy idea: Can you beat fear and hunger without seeing or hearing anything, I mean your entire screen is black even during battles and you can hear anything either. Is there a set combination of keys you can press that will take you all the way from the start till the end of the gauntlet 100% of the time no matter the RNG is? This would be a great project imo
Without seeing I wanted to try, but if we add the hearing too it may just become too random
@@frapollo94 This idea is based off of a really popular video "Can you beat pokemon blind and deaf" where the guy goes over how it would be possible to beat pokemon 99.9% if the time with a certain combination of keys, no matter what happens and how unlucky he gets. It is really a entertaining video I bet a lot of people would be interested in if made for funger.

No Luck type runs are probably one of my favorite types of gameplay restrictions/mods. They really push the knowledge and creativity of the player to get around otherwise simple obstacles.
