That mushroom dish look so good. I have the mushrooms just no fresh carrots. Love mushrooms. I do have celery though. When we use to eat rice pudding we would put raisins in it. So good. Everything looks good as always. Here's a tip for the potato's as you cut them add them to a bowl of cold water. It will keep them from turning green. Then all you have to do is pat them dry. It will also help them crisp up more. :) Can't wait for the next one.
Ah amazing tip! Thanks so much for that, will try it next time - I bought a ton of sweet potatoes thinking they'd be orange inside, but unfortunately they're the white ones! You could definitely replace the carrots for celery in the dish! Thanks for watching :-) X
idk if this is a weird thing to say, but i find your voice combined with the background music extremely comforting hahaha. looking forward to the rest of november!
I find most vegans to be quite pushy in their views and it can put people off the whole veganism perspective but the thing I like about you is that youre really chilled with it and your food ideas are actually pretty unique. I thought most vegans just eat well.. vegetables. But I love your recipees
I have been wanting to make a mushroom bourgioun (i spelled that soooo wrong) and I am so excited to make this! the quinoa balls too YUM! I use your food inspiration daily to make my meals you really show how easy it can be to eat fabulously on a vegan diet!
I wish you had a cook book I would buy it instantly! Most vegan "What I eat in a day" are the same thing over and over, but yours are always new and stuff I never thought could be vegan. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so so so much for the rice pudding recipe. It was my favorite thing in the world before going vegan and have not been able to find a good vegan recipe, and as someone who has tried your recipes before I trust you so thanks a million! ❤️❤️❤️
I have lost all train of thought when i saw that rice pudding. Oh how I wish I had a bowl of that right now.Looked so yummy. You should have a restaurant or a cooking show, you're amazing in the kitchen. Hope Arty is doing well, it was great seeing him recently. xoCathy
Ah thanks so much Cathy! I was never a huge fan of rice pudding but I love anything vanilla flavoured, so I've learned to love it this way! There was a little clip of him in this, on the breakfast part - he's quite hard to spot though! Sending head rubs to Cookie and Arty sends her a nose lick! X
Thank you for adding the recipes. Some youtubers don't or only list half of what they did so I really appreciate you doing that and I can't wait to try these recipes : )
All recipes looks so yummy! In Srilanka we have that same rice pudding with coconut milk. But not as a dessert, sometimes as a breakfast. And we put cashewnuts, raisins and some other dry fruits too
I made the winter granola yesterday - so good! Took the leftovers out of the fridge this morning and accidentally dumped half of it all over the floor :(. I'm excited to try the pizza balls and rice pudding, great video!
Your dessert reminds me of our danish christmas tradition - risengrød. It is a rice porrigde/pudding: Ingredients: 2.25 dl (1 cup) short-grained white rice (pudding rice) 1 dl (1/2 cup) water 1 liter (4.25 cups) milk 1 tsp salt Cinnamon Sugar 4 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp cinnamon Instructions: Step 1: Pour the water and the rice in a large sauce pan. Add salt, heat it up and let it boil for about 2 minutes. Step 2: Pour the milk into the sauce pan and boil it while stirring. Step 3: Let the rice pudding boil lightly for about 35 minutes under a lid. Remember to stir in the pudding regularly so that the rice don’t burn to the bottom of the sauce pan. Step 4: Make some cinnamon sugar by mixing the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Tip: Serve the rice pudding with a tablespoon of butter and the cinnamon sugar.
Your dessert is very similar to a Danish christmas dish called "risengrød" - we serve it with cinnamon sugar on top (and a dollop of butter, if you eat that). You still inspire me to make more vegan meals, I love it! :)
Oh, yes I knew - I just mentioned it so that you knew how we normally serve it! :) However, I do think that a dollop of almond butter instead of the regular butter would be amazing!
Before you say that her meals take too much work, realize she made this video and included these recipes to give people food ideas and inspiration, all in one video!!
Your videos are amazing! Everything you make is so creative and beautiful! It's so kind of you to share all these recipes with us! You should make a recipe book! 😊
Thank you so much for your videos! I am following a few vegan youtubers but your videos by far the best! You are the most creative! Thank you for sharing!!!
omgosh i made your mushroom bourguignon tonight for dinner and it was absolutely brilliant !!! I also made a very yummy choc brownie for desert to top it off lol thanks so much !!!!
All your recipes look really delicious but I think I'm most excited to try the potato soup and the rice pudding. I'm thinking of replacing the pudding for my oatmeal some breakfasts and adding a few dried fruits. I just subbed. Thanks for sharing. :)
I'm not vegan, but OMG all your dishes look amazing and I want to try and make all of them!!! also so impressed that you can make so many full delicious looking meals in a day, I struggle to just make one decent meal and the rest of the day I'm eating quick and easy things (and usually unhealthy) things lol.
As a lazy vegan and student I have to say that freezing meals and reheating makes them much stronger inn taste! P.S. I really like walnuts on sutliac with lots of cinnamon :P
I have two! This is my Creamy Tomato Soup: ruclips.net/video/QXmaE3BzGME/видео.htmlm32s and then this is my Tomato & Basil Soup: ruclips.net/video/6j5mrkcuZ9g/видео.htmlm15s. Hope this helps! :-) X
Another great video! Have you ever used bean juice in recipes?? I saw a video on Facebook of somebody using bean juice (like left over from a can of chickpeas or something) and whisking it up so it can be used like cream with cake or even meringue-like for an alternative lemon meringue pie! I want to give it a go but wondered if it really is as simple as whisking it up!! :) love your videos xx
loving your recipe!and...always being jealous that you dont fear of eating for example rice like a desserz even after dinner...amazed that you are not crazy about greens,,and proteins ,you consume such a nitritious food..do you have any advise how to achiebe The peace with all these nutrients?thanks.do you follow any vegan style like carb preffered vegan?no.tofu etc.
It is so cold in England . Willing to try all the recipes! Let's start with the rice-pudding 😎. Thank you so much for the video-as always, you make my day !
Just gone and watched all your vegan november videos and I love them! I'm trying to introduce more vegan meals into my diet and your videos are really helping x
Jess, awsome video. So easy, so simple, who knew vegan cooking could be so uncomplicated?! :) Sidenote: Have you ever tried making rice pudding with lemon zest instead of nutmeg? It really brings out the vanilla flavour and also adds a bit of freshness to it. :)
so random, but your gold bracelet is so pretty. i'm always so drawn to it in all of your videos hehe. do you mind sharing where its from? LOVE your videos btw. SO inspiring.
I'm making a batch of the Pizza Quinoa Balls right now! ...doubt I'll be eating all 12 in one sitting. What's the best way to reheat them? Back in the oven, I assume but for how long? ❤️
Hi Jess, i have a question: how can i understand if an avocado is ready to be eaten? I mean, how can i choose it when i am at the store? Cause i bought one once, but damn, it tasted awful! Maybe because i put it in the fridge, and waited too much before eating it.. I need advices haha Also, is there a difference between coconut milk in can and brick right? The first one looks thicker, kinda.. Is it better for recipes? Sorry for my english, probably there are a few mistakes! And Jess, great job, as always. You're so dedicated to these vids!
this is my favourite what I eat in a day you've done ever !! wintery, comforting foods are my favourite 💓

Hi do you store the quinoa balls at room température or in the fridge ?
