As a young child just like Ed and Al my father studied aerospace engineering and left when I was just a boy, I was left with those memories and sought out to work with the military (just like Ed) my dreams are no longer dreams, and I still listen to this every evening before I start working all night on new ideas and new tech. I feel as if every second of this show was made for me. I’m almost feeling as if you feel the same as I do. Thank you brother.
Reading your comment, and listening to this music, I imagined a scenario. Ed and Al fight over something on a cloudy day, and Trisha calls them from the kitchen for Lunch. They continue fighting and Trisha comes over from the kitchen wiping her hands on the apron, and as she is walking towards them to sort out the fight, her eyes fall on their only full family photo. She stops and looks at the photo, and then to the open window on the other side, and a gust of wind rushes in, with the smell of rain, and as she walks towards the window (It's a big window and the room is dark-ish except for the dim light that comes in from the window), raindrops fall on her hand, and she says, "It's raining". This soulful track plays on in the background and Ed and Al continue fighting (we can hear those sounds too), and then Trisha, who had been looking upto the sky till now goes to her sons and sorts out their fight, and sitting near the window she feeds them the lunch and they all talk happily, and sound of rain shifts to the foreground, with their voices and this track fading into the background. The sound of rain gradually melts into that of fire crackling, and the scene shifts to the day Ed and Al burnt their house, and Winry stood beside, and as Edward closes his eyes full of tears and Winry tries to comfort him, he recalls that rainy day years ago, which seemed like it was just yesterday. This track is playing melodiously in the background, and comes into focus as the camera shifts to Al. Al stands apart, the fire reflecting on his armour, and he looks up to the sky, full of stars, cloudless. And from there we shift to the scene in the anime, when Ed and Al sit together outside, broken, and it starts raining. And then someone says, "It's a bad day for the rain", as they look up to the raining sky, and the sound of raindrops falling on the floor become more and more pronounced.

They were so innocent and younger Green Day’s is what it is called in Japanese. Why risk everything just to realize the creation of the philosophers stone you ask? Who’s to say. Was it curiosity? Was it the desire for something better? Scar’s brother figured out how to make one but the cost was so great that for someone to make it took what seemed too much. The cost was your morality and human lives so so many human lives. Was it really worth it? Would you have done it? So sad to go and do this that it makes you really question things. What is all of this? What at am I, or we really doing? This is the story of two young brothers who find themselves sad and losing their mama and trying to bring her back. Ask yourself how would you feel after losing your mama and having a way to bring her back. Of course you would say to everyone who understand that we will do this no matter the cost. After failing they had decided to head out and figure things out, which took them on a lot of unexpected travels to meet a lot of new people and eventually join the military only later to start figuring out how exactly to make the philosophers stone and trying to cheat how to make it and finding no answers on how to cheat to creation process. Frustrated and tired they eventually find that their father is still alive as they go further and get more information and meet more people. One of the most famous lines that stuck with me so long is from Mina’s father which is “When you have a new power it’s hard not to test it out” After that Edward screamed at him “Dammit, I’m not like you!!!!” As Mina’s father was beaten up nearly to death and smiled at Edward It was so sad to see that Mina had to go through that. His own daughter had that happen to her how sad. This is the story of how people’s lives are brought together for better or worse. This is FMA.
