You two shaped my early 20's on cracked, I was legitimately sad when everyone left cracked and went their own way

me too, it was my long time dream to travel south to the cracked office and find them on the pier!

Same. Michael Swaims humor changed the way I did humor. Till this day when I hear an alarm of any sorts I ask "what song is this?" Lol. I also love to recite his interrogation interview names.

We need them to do an after hours reunion, preferably a tongue in cheek run down on cracked since they left

I'm missed hearing Dan. I'm happy for his success, same as you Swain, but I don't hear from him any more and his solo cracked works helped keep me well informed. I wish he and Cody could do something together in their format.

He has a podcast with Soren you can listen to on Spotify, it's quick question with Soren and Daniel. You can keep up with them there and I think it's pretty chill and enjoyable

Obsessive Pop Culture disorder and Escort Missions for me!
I wish Dan would do something like OPCD again!
I swear I can hear Dan's words come out of Jon Oliver's mouth. When the pandemic happened and they had to do Last Week tonight without an audience Jon Oliver was giving me some major OCPD vibes
      Am I alone?

@@Richard_Nickerson I always liked Last Week Tonight in passing but really started watching regularly when I heard Dan got hired as a writer so I thought I was just looking hard and seeing what I wanted. Ya know just thinking it Dan's words! It's cool that someone else hears it too!

I relate to Dan's worry about losing something like "anger" -- something that most would not view as a good trait but you've learned to leverage into a key part of your identity and offering to society.
That very thought is something I worked about before starting to seek treatment for anxiety, because my "overthinking" was key to me being the mediator in my friend group, the "devil's advocate," the person who could weigh things out in brainstorming sessions, etc. I was worried that meds would neuter the SKILLS I'd developed amidst my coping.
I'm still not anywhere very successful with my treatment, currently working on trying new meds, still having a hard time on better habits, having issues with my depression, etc. But I can say that I've learned that it's reasonable for me to expect to keep my analytical qualities while not letting them hurt myself -- like, my doctors, counselors, etc. don't want me to lose those parts of myself as part of what "successful treatment" will look like. So while I'm still not sure what "peaceful" or "healthy" look/feel like for me, I do feel more secure in knowing that it doesn't have to mean I lose my "edge" or my intellect or that aspect of my identity.

anger in my twenties was always based on the idea of overcoming an abstract challenge that i could dispel... that once i overcame it would be so validating it would act as a guardrail for what to do next... the answer was always a sign of faith in the future over the present, it would've been so hard to not feel validated by losing vision, i resented the idea that "letting go" was somehow obvious to do or even a physically obviously accessible option, same with focus... there are no human clamps or dials, so letting go or focusing sounded so bourgeois, but i was wrong... i had the reliability of the future and the present confused, which was kind of a gift i still tap into for fun but knowing better, i think... these commas and ellipses are all over the place 😬

i think i should give meditation* another shot.
i think what intrigued me is that you both see meditation as a "first take" kind of thing. dans teacher said that if you stop in the middle, start over. take a moment to write your idea down and start your meditation over. again, my only background is my partners *dbt and its got so many similarities that it seems to me that you should try that approach.

I'm honestly surprised to hear that DOB is a churchgoer.
With his last name, I'd say he must've been raised Catholic, but with what I know about him through his work he seems like he'd be agnostic.

    The Pink Throne's enjoyment in life is based on the mistakes of others, while she remains living as the opposite-of-plant fair race position. Racism carried out in the landscape is the weapon she weilds, but SHE has a weak physical position to protect. So here's what I recommend;
    • be born male and never attempt to minimize plant behaviors in your skin to become sex-organ-free naturally. 💐
    • claim land, definitely provide food and housing for a lady. 🌱
    • have dark skin, be proud of it, but don't be racist. 🌲
    • get super wealthy, and be prepared to lavish your lady with satisfaction. 🍄
    • militaries are unquestionably necessary. 🌾
    • eat shit. Literal feces: healthy for the animal kingdom, bad for plants. 💩
    • die. ☠️
