Hello Friend, can I ask a quick question. I'm going to put B6 on my Tiguan. But do I need the rubber spring isolator on my front strut? Like on this link (at 16:43) ruclips.net/video/i55h2CLW0ZU/видео.html
After doing some research I believe they are using NM. Additionally I believe when they give a torque spec and a degree of rotation, I believe you are supposed to do both with the torque spec first and then the degree of rotation.
@humbertom1184 Did the job last weekend. Had To cut out 4 of the 6 top nuts. Had to leave some spring tension on the struts to undo the top nut as it was stripped. Impact was my friend there. Everything else was ok. Axles weren't that bad to remove. I also used a strut spreader tool aswell.

Is it important to re Aline front end after changing shocks
Torques are newton-meters or foot-lbs?

The commentary says: 25 mm triple square. The transcript says 24 mm and so does the tool listing. Which is it?
M24
Yeah since the lady said m25 I stripped my bolt....thanks it was a m24 12 pt
Torque specs?
@3:05 she says 25mm Socket. is it 24 or 25?
It's 24mm for sure. Doing this job this week. I got Audi TT strut mounts with OEM bearings.
It is a 24. I checked on the socket it says 24. Good luck.@@R0bTheRobot

@@R0bTheRobot Did you mean the top bolts ?.
@@SpikesMavic top strut bolts yes
Way more work than ends doing to remove the shock
I never understood why in some VWs you gotta undo the axle bolts which are usually rusted and fused. I hate that design
Отлично замечательно превосходно
What’s years is this for?
This worked for my 2013.
@@Mr.Wiedenbeck thank you!
I have a 2020. But he should’ve made that comment to help ppl figure it out.
