I didn’t have the best luck with wrapping the boards all the way around. My best advice if you prefer to wrap the entire face is to use contact cement on the back side to help the vinyl adhere and stick. As far as the rounded corners, you would likely have to use a heat gun and pull/stretch the vinyl over the corners the best you could. Went on your website and I see many flag wraps that are not displayed / made correctly. When displaying the American flag vertically, the star field should be upper left. Some are correct but the ones that are not should be corrected to show respect. You have a lot of good products, please respect the American flag that's all I am asking...
We offer them by customer preference! You are 100% correct on the orientation of the union. We have some customers that prefer it on the upper right side. You can request either/or during ordering. When we started this, I actually reached out for advice on this from the local PD. If the image isn't a true and standard American flag, the orientation isn't required to be on the upper left.

My best advice if you prefer to wrap the entire face is to use contact cement on the back side to help the vinyl adhere and stick. As far as the rounded corners, you would likely have to use a heat gun and pull/stretch the vinyl over the corners the best you could. I had custom edge trimmers made to help me keep the wrap cleanly cut around the surface of the boards. Also, as long as you prep the surface properly, you should not have the edges pealing. Feel free to send me a pm on our facebook page for more detailed help
Heat not a lot just light heat until it will stretch without creases
@@treybrown6811 thanks I’ll give it a shot
@@Gameondad6 thanks will do. I sometimes try to tuck the vinyl under the board vs flush cutting it. Just worried if I flush cut it might peel up later on. But I do prep well.
Tucking your wrap on rounded corners IS your problem with creases. To stop the creases, square the corners up
Keep up the great videos 7
Where can I purchase the wrap?
www.gopdesign.com or email me at info@gopdesign.com
Bro, you could have sold that as a pride month original and made wicked bank...lol. But great vid. Thanks!

What is the cost for you to help with the design and print them?? Then ship to me?

How do you get the polycrylic so smooth? Mine are always streaky. And I use foam brushes.
Just some gentle sanding… a couple times
were do you get your vinyl wraps from?
We make them in house
@@Gameondad6 what kind of machine do you have to do that and we’re are you located?
@@corytellier1830 63" large format eco solvent printer.
Thanks
What grit are you using after the poly? Too fine and it'd get clogged, too rough and you're leaving rough edges. Process looks solid!
In more humid climate... 320 by hand
I learned a lot, thanks. But if I owned it the triangle not lining up with the hole would drive me nuts
You're not wrong. It was off center about 1/8" of an inch. It does happen sometimes.

LIFE SAVER!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad I could help!
How doe this interior finish last in the elements? How well does it stick to the vinyl? I have seen this finish not hold up in exterior environment.
We've been using it for years with no complaints. Now, we also don't recommend leaving boards in the rain or out for long periods of time (days on end). You can definitely use an oil based urethane if you prefer, but the design will yellow/Amber over time.
What is a source for the wraps??
There is a link in the description 🤙
What vinyl do you find best to use?
We have landed on arlon 510MTX. It seems to be the best bang for the buck. I've used 3m, arlon, oracal, briteline, and a couple others. 3m is the Cadillac of vinyl for me, but it's big $$$.
@@Gameondad6 what does that run per roll? I have a 54” Roland printer.
@@Gameondad6 also do you have a fb page to follow?
@@malachicustoms5595 Game On Graphics & Cornhole on FB. The vinyl...around $160 a roll. I buy 54" rolls, but my printer is 63"
Where do you order your Wraps from? Great video thanks
We print out own wraps in house. Feel free to visit our website or our Facebook page to place an order
Is the wrap that you use (linked in your notes) $65 for a set or just a single wrap? Also, are the ones you used laminated or not?
$65 for a pair. $75 for a pair if you want them laminated (no polycyclic needed to seal them)
@@Gameondad6 TY
I thought a vinyl wrap does not need a coating on top ???
If it's been laminated, it doesn't.
Do you make your own rap, or do you get it from someone else
We make them all in house
Where do you source the vinyl prints?
We print our own vinyl in house!
I’ve never seen sanding before that didn’t create dust in the air
It definitely does. You need a filtration system to help
I did it wish I could show it!
Very nice tutorial! What type of vinyl are you using? I have a 54" ecosolvent printer and would love to make a set for personal use. :)
We switched to bright line gross vinyl. It’s been great, and cheaper than 3m or similar by a long shot.
@@bassplayersyx lol gross vinyl?? I think I'll pass 🤣
Are your wraps Cast Vinyl or Calendared? Awesome design and colors!

What finish polycrylic do you use, gloss, satin or high gloss?
Matte finish is preferred. It helps reduce that glare and hide defects
Thanks! I was about to ask that question.
Awesome
Do you laminate the vinyl before mounting?
I apply polycrylic by hand at the moment. We are working on a laminator.
@@Gameondad6 Thanks so much for the clarification. Wasn't giving you a hard time was just trying to bring it to your attention but it appears the proper research was done ! Kudos to you ! Good luck with all your future endeavors...Have subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to future vids...
Good video but I have a bit of a problem with the actual design. The flag is backward (negative side of a print). Only active duty soldiers wear the flag in that position as a statement that they are returning home.
Incorrect. When the US Flag is hung vertically, that is how it should be displayed - with the union in the top left. But, since this is not an ACTUAL flag, it's a non issue.
@@richardmann2960 , Thank you for your correction. It's nice to know others care about how are flag is displayed.
@@davidshelp7116 I by default print this way, as I was taught it is the correct way if the flag is vertical. It is also by customer request. Thanks for showing you care though!
@@bassplayersyx A similar comment was made by Richard Mann, I thanked him for his comment, as I do you, and say thank you for the correction. We're always old enough to learn.
@@davidshelp7116 No problem. It's a relief that not everyone in the world gets offended by a correction. Thanks for taking it in stride. Yes, we all learn things every day as long as we keep an open mind.
Poor sound, can’t really hear what is being said.
We don't have a big studio or camera setup...just my headphones for audio. We are working on it. Thanks for the feedback
Yeah how does that make the board play? Must be slippery as fuck
It's a nice consistent surface actually. They are very playable for the average player.

Actually, the main angle was shot on my iPad Air (AirPods connected to it). The second angle was shot on my lg v60 (with the dual screen attached)
