You coated the plywood with water based poly before you applied the wrap. Any liquid raises the grain of the wood. Did you or did you not knock down the raised grain prior to applying the graphic?
I'm going to give an old set of boards a much needed facelift. They are painted. I sanded off the edges to smooth out some warpage from water damage. Paint is still on the middle. Will the wrap still stick or does the whole top have to be smooth/paint free? Thanks for any advice.

Common sense goes a long way... obviously he sanded the fucking grain down.

How many coats of Polycrylic do you use before the wrap installation and after the wrap installation? Do you sand it after applying the Polycrylic?

Michael Calvin after one coat over the decal I would send it very lightly with a high grit sand paper. then coat 2 to 3 times
If i dont have a heat gun or a blow drier can i just put it in the 95 degree sun outside for a while?
