Thank you for the no BS repair video of the correct model and part. My problem ended up being the damper assembly but replacing the thermistor assembly was the cheaper first option. Ultimately I have a working fridge again and your video played a part in that.
Note to self: The error code for this model of fridge flashed H1on the digital display where the temperature for the fridge (1-10) is at. The way she reset the code was to hold the down arrow pressed down for four seconds consecutively and then the error code went away.
