Thank you! Very helpful. Are you sure the air blows through on test #5 with no type of fan going? I could hear the damper open and close, but no air and I can't figure out why there would be. Is there a fan built into the damper system? Everything (except this) was fine but fridge still not cooling properly. Wondering why.
Thank you for the video. I have this model and here is the issue. The display shows a 8 in each box where normally there was a Fahrenheit temp displayed . Both freezer and refrigerator are cooling properly. The refrigerator light bulb went out at the same time this 8 display happened. Any past experience with this issue? Thank you!
Hi on the test 7 compressor if the compressor is not working and its not the relay , you have said then its most likely control board ? Or bad compressor? Thanjs
Yes, if the compressor isn't turning on, it's most likely the relay. You can test the relay using a multimeter. I've also made a video on how to check a relay. The second most common issue could be the main control not supplying power to the compressor. Hope this information assists you.

Make sure your freezer is freezing properly from bottom to top. This indicates that the freezer is functioning well and that the fan is working correctly. If everything seems fine with the freezer, the issue is most likely with the ice maker. Without being there to physically inspect it, that would be my best guess. Hope this helps!
So I have a 6_ meaning the heater is off. I changed the heater thermostat in the freezer and the heater u bar . What else can I do because that didn’t help? Model LFSS2612TE4 Frigidaire.
@@onlineappliancetech new damper is in and working. I had to learn how to line up the long back screw and the post and hole. Put the screws in the front three holes first. The back one is easier to get into the hole. Thanks again. Technical stuff doesn't bother me. I've rebuilt 3 jaguar engines and built my own airplane.
I do not have this model…mine begins with FFS….i am getting E2 & 6 after that follow d your steps….before finding your video I was getting H1 just on the freezer side…now I am getting it on the fridge size…things in freezer not freezing & fridge not cooling

Hey man, were you able to figure out what the issue was by chance? I have the same model and it’s saying the same code 0 on freezer side and F on the refrigerator side. Let me know dude!
@@dondre871 I held the on/off button until I heard the beep, then like 20 seconds later you can hear all the motors shut off…I unplugged it for about 5 minutes and plugged it back in…and it went back to normal. Hopefully it never happens again. Hope you figure it out!
So my Frigidaire gallery side by side will not cool, fridge or freezer, but when I put it in diagnostic mode the fan and compressor come on and start cooling it but as soon as diagnostic mode ends it stops and goes back to hot can you please help

Mine won’t go into diagnostic mode and it won’t allow me to change temperature in freezer or fridge. As soon as I try to change temperature it shuts off and then restarts. Do you have any idea of this problem?

Great quick diagnostic steps! A big help. Also please cover the “return air” vent in the bottom divider wall icing up and blocking airflow.

Is there a way to clear the code after part replacement to make sure everything is working?
If it's displaying the 'HH' code, don't worry-that's just an indication of a high temperature, and it will reset itself.

How can i defrost the air channel at the bottom behind the veggie drawers if frozen solid?

I have the opposite problem. The fridge side is working fine and the freezer side is blinking 1. I have it set on 4 it fluctuates between four to one.

How do reset error code history??
Tried 2-9 and everything was fine. My fridge still is hot. Low air is coming out, so not cooling enough in fridge area. What else could it be?
